  • My grandpas 92 Ford F-150. We keeping it in the family. So thankful! 175k and runs like new. I did learn after making the video that the original engine was replaced with a crate motor around 100k and 20yrs ago. Developed a rod knock

I beg your pardon? My journey with our Lord and Savior is going very well. I wake up every morning and as soon as my feet hit the floor I yell hallelujah! thank you for another day! To be a Christian is to be a sinner. you worry about your journey…. I’ve got mine covered

I have an '92 F150 XLT that was my Father in laws. He passed away about 5 years ago. The only time it ran since is when I borrowed it to haul something. My mother in law called one day ad asked if we could help her buy a new furnace in her house. I said I would buy her a new furnace if she would sign over the truck to me. We both never regreted it!

These are really starting to disappear from the roads. Kinda miss seeing them as they’re probably my favorite body style for the F150, but thanks for showcasing this one and sharing its backstory. Pretty neat!

I just purchased a 92 f150 from a south Georgia owner this last week. 144k miles, transmission only has about 20-60k. Original paint is still in phenomenal shape and zero rust anywhere. It sat for a little after the original owner had passed before it went to a family member who sold it to me, saying it's just a beater with some issues. It's astounding how easy and affordable they are to work on; a days work flushing the fluids, new serpentine belt, some fuses, tighten some fasteners and it's like new. These are the only fords I'd buy!

I've got two of these. a '93 and a '96. One's a ECSB 4x4 and ones a SCLB 4x2. Both of em have the 5.0L/302W motors. Love this body style of ford trucks, they will never let you down.

My second truck was a 92 f150 single cab long bed XL, it had a straight 6 engine, i now drive a 1990 Chevy 1500. I miss how trucks were back in the day, they were all built solid. Now they are all the same and thats why i stick with old trucks.

I have one of those 1992 trucks over here in New Zealand, same year, same engine, with the 5-speed manual transmission and flareside bed. A little beauty!

Ford produced those 9th generation F-series pickups from 1992 through 1996 & same with the fullsize Broncos with that same body style, but those generation F-250 & F-350 pickups stayed in production up through 1997.

@@JoesGoldenGarage I like the front appearance on those better than I do on the 8th generation Ford F-series "1987-1991" which I like them too but the style of the whole front & interior on the 9th generation ones look prettier.

my old man had one of these. Sadly when he passed I was too young to take it over and had to move provinces shortly after. Looking for one of these now.

Hi Joe not sure if you will see this but myself and my son are trying to work on a 91 f150 xlt lariat 5.0. We are in the process of changing the valve cover gasket on the drivers side. There is a plastic bracket type thing attached to the valve cover. It will no break free so we can removed the valve cover. It looks like it might be a wire harness affixed to a plastic bracket that has a metal locking clip embedded in the plastic. Bolts are off but it wont come up. First of all what is it? Secondly how do I go about removing it. We a far from mechanics but I will try to fix something myself before paying someone. It's just a mother and son project that at this rate will take us years.....lol

Hello robin. I might Not be much help but look into some forums online for this. I’m Not to familiar with fords. But if you look up things on google and find some Ford forums you might find something really helpful!
