Definitely going to go follow DocBaby, I need more female DBD streamers to watch anyways, we gotta support our ladies in the community, especially when they are such a class act. Women get so much unwarranted hate in gaming, it’s disgusting. I honestly don’t think he would’ve taken it that far if she was a he. Everyone gets hate regardless of gender sometimes but anyone that says women don’t get it 10x worse are either blissfully ignorant or just in complete denial. Honestly, I’ve even thought about making my gaming accounts gender anonymous or masculine presenting because of this.

What's scary is that it seriously could have been worse. If Little Boy did try to make good on his threats, DocBaby would've been in serious danger, and that's scary, like that was done a lot with CoD. I'm just glad Little Boy was too much of a coward to make good on those threats, everything he said was an empty threat, thankfully.

My mom had to suffer through 3 different types of cancer and spent over 6 months going in and out of the hospital with one of them. She eventually passed due to complications. I have a ton of respect for docbaby being so respectful. I would not have been able to be so respectful after "little boy" said that about docbaby's parents.

@@Eaglelioncourt Yes. Everyone's experiences are different but from where I'm from. Most kids at my middle school when I was younger were misogynistic. I had a misogynistic dad who I would spend the nights with but, thankfully since I'm in a Latino family. Most Latino families have more women than men. I grew in an environment to where I learned more about the struggles that women go through and how it effects them. So that's why I strongly believed that it's the parents that influence the kids life the most. My family wasn't misogynistic and they thought me to be better. That's just my experiences with it though.

If Twitch straight out bans you, chances are it wasn't from one person complaining. We all hear the stories about giant streamers getting vacations. He needs to take a step back and reevaluate himself, and then dish out some apologies. On a brighter note this removes the toxic side of streamers. One of the reasons I aspire to stream is the community building aspect. Exactly what kind of community did HE build that tolerates that behavior?
Streamers tend to attract similar people in their communities. Odds are he was building a coven of trolls on Twitch. A group of like-minded individuals that saw nothing wrong with his behavior. The only cure the spreading sickness is for the toxic streamers to slowly get themselves banned. Eventually, once the infection stops spreading it'll pass, it's just gonna take a while.
This man ain’t playing with a full deck of cards we are beyond that point. Best to leave people like that alone.
My guess is that he played against her, found her twitch. Made racist remarks on his stream and people reported him from his own stream and then he got banned.
Either towards her or another player/streamer.
This is just a classic case of someone not learning from their mistakes and double/tripling down rather than taking a moment to introspect and assess what went wrong in the first place.
DocBaby handled this so perfectly. Littleboy has literally made me so mad watching this. Using every insult in the books just to make someone feel like shit because of a game. The fact that he tries to use his world view as an excuse to talk like that is ridiculous.
And all because he drew against them in the game, it’s absolutely outrageous! I just don’t understand the mindset tbh

Honestly, for some people, it's a better idea not to have ttv in your name because some people will immediately tunnel you out for shits and giggles. Or worse, they send their goons to your stream and harass you because they're stream sniping. And then they'll come into your discord and start shit there. I've been there, done that. Happened 2/3 months ago, still scared of it happening again.

My dad passed away a couple of months ago from pancreatic cancer 💔 No one should ever use cancer as a "jab". That's a low blow and totally unnecessary.

I just don't understand why they'd waste the resources on this. If one match doesn't go your way, the concept of becoming hyper focused on that bad match and relentlessly chasing and harassing one poor soul across cyberspace makes no sense to me. If my guy moved on, he probably would've just had a better match next game and everything would've been fine.

Had several people writing racist and or homophob + usual stuff about being a furry comments on my steam profile which all got deleted after a few hours again from steam itself. The worst thing is that they however usually are either russian (not saying they are all bad but they for whatever reason love to portrait the clichee) or absolute manchilds/gamergirls who think they can get away with it. Also as a honorable mention: the false accuses of cheating ~
So as I said already, dont let other people ruin your fun. Instead, do something against it. You can also just hide chats in game as to avoid bullshit in the afterchat or pre match.

I really feel for Docbaby. I had a similar situation. I had someone harass me for about 6 months, creating multiple accounts. They actually took a break for about 2 years and started up again. Because of the harassment I actually stopped streaming and gaming. This stuff is not a joke. It can really mess with your mental health.
As someone who's 14 I have no trouble believing this is a 13 year old, there's alot of people I know who act like this and think it's totally ok

Honestly I wouldn't be super surprised if it was a 10 year old, maybe even 9. In fourth grade there was a kid who would cuss at teachers and be a general ass to everyone not in his group, and his dad would congratulate and award him for it. Don't know if he is on this level of asshole, but if a parent does nothing to stop it, it doesn't matter the age because at that point they probably don't look out for what they see or what opinions they might be forming. Even when the kid was 16 he would still throw food at people as a way to harass him. My school is to big to really keep an eye on him or what he does (plus that be to exhausting and time consuming), but I doubt he's changed, considering the food throwing happened last year, at a friend which is how I knew about it.
I understand when people get upset perhaps triggered over the game. ( Sometimes I get a bit upset with hard stressful games but I NEVER will go into someones stream and msg them etc). THIS IS NOT OKAY. PLEASE why are people going into their socials and doing everything possible to get into their head. I haven't been playing dbd for a long time not even a year but i've seen this happen with other games. Like overwatch. BUT LOOK. ITS A GAME. These people need to grow up. It's a game! The people you play against are real and have FEELINGS. I have never seen something like this before It's beyond disgusting. I hope Doc Baby is okay. NO ONE should have to go through that.
there are 2 possibilities as to how the killer can get stream sniped:
- pure coincidence, you just so happened to be watching the killer as you guys load into the match
- you cheat yourself into that person's lobby.
both of those are very low chances.
This person clearly did none of that, and even then why would you go that far in any of the directions this person took, what a tool
nah, there’s a third option where the killer has TTV and your SWF teammate dies earlier and tells the streamer their stream or tells them what the killer is doing.

If the killer is a console player other survivors on the same console can also see their gt on the recently played list as soon as the game starts
This is the exact reason I lost it with my colleague when he said he liked Tate and didn't think he was a misogynist. A white, 25 y/o male who won't ever feel the negative impact that men like Tate have. As you said a 10 y/o had to learn that from somewhere and people who have a platform like Tate are where he's learning it. Even as a joke, it's extremely harmful and shouldn't be allowed. I genuinely hoped we were moving away from this attitude but we clearly haven't made much progress. I just feel sad and disappointed about it all.
I agree with you! I will say though that the fact that soooo many people online were fighting against Tate’s views and lessons and he’s now been banned off certain platforms shows that we have moved forward, at least a bit :) Try and see the silver lining in it all! 💙

This isn’t even being edgy it’s being insane. You aren’t on the edge you have flown past it at that point. I have always seen edgy as something more like the band Bring Me The Horizon. Talking about things in their songs people don’t want to talk about in a way that sheds light on it without being overly positive. Happy Song is a great example. When little boy mentioned skin cancer my face went from a relaxed look to a frown so fast. My grandma a year ago in May passed away from cancer. Skin cancer also runs through my mom's side of the family.

he straight up insulted her and threatened to find her irl, he also said she should take her own life and told her that he hopes her parents get cancer, some of the things he did even broke the law, but sure, that's all on the same level as her using her flashlight in game to get away and survive while she's playing a literal survivor, bruh. My best friend got cancer less than 8 months ago. Stage 4 behind her eye. It's been very hard for her. She has to have chemo almost weekly. The comment about cancer made me remember her. I haven't seen her in months.

I am glad that streamer got banned, but you asked for how a survivor can stream snipe and it is possible if your teammates are a swf, first one dies gets to see the name and if its a ttv they can look it up and give them killer locations, but a small stream delay would make that not work at all and as stated he did not have his twitch name so in this situation its impossible and that lilperson is talking out their arse.
This nasty ttv proves that some ppl shouldnt be allowed to play online games or stream

I play on the Adamantoise server of FFXIV and we have a particularly terrible person that matches all the points this person Little Boy. They're first account was called Holy Terror and it was very literal. This person spent LITERAL years being such a menace to the Novice Network to the point that sprouts(the new players) and even mentors leave the NN because of their words. Its not even our server that is the only victim. They have spent years across several servers like Lamia just spewing hateful things and even worse trying to trick sprouts into saying things in chat that could get them suspended or even perma banned. Hard to believe that theres more than 1 of these monsters.

I had this happened. I didn’t have a camera on so he assumed I was a “fat ni***er”
I was getting harassed on instagram by multiple accounts. It lasted for 2 weeks. It was horrible. I stopped streaming for quite awhile because he also was going in my stream and harassing me. He was blocked but he kept making new accounts. It was a horrible experience.

What people like that don’t understand is that it’s not a joke. A joke isn’t when people laugh at you saying sexist things, that’s not even structured like a joke. It’s using comedy’s name in vein to vail a predatory underside. Adults and kids who say and act like that are just throwing tantrums, but as they grow older, the more dangerous it becomes. The more predatory it becomes. It’s a dangerous game. It’s a scary game. Seeing a 10 year old child speak to a woman like that is scary because that’s a predator’s behaviour. That’s what he’s growing into.

honestly sick of the kids will be kids excuse. When i was that age i didn't try to attack or harass people, I didn't find it funny and it never will be. If you don't hold kids responsible now, they will never learn and grow in the future.
its perfectly understandable to rage at a game and get caught up in the moment, but you dont take that out on the other players, you either move on to the next game and hope for a better match or take some time to sit out calm down and come back in a better mental state

My sister had leukemia, she was 8 but made it to 9 and is still going, there is no sign of cancer in her system anymore, but is still fighting a dangerous fungus on her liver, they said it shrunk quite a bit, but we still aren't out of the woods yet, she still has to go to a hospital every day for her medicine, for the next 2 years. All I'm saying is cancer isn't a joke and it's a terrible threat, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. But it's funny seeing Adults like these, they are children, I'm 15 and way more mature than this "35" year old.

People like this are why I don't play Dead by Daylight much anymore. Tired of constantly running into *highly* toxic people (both killers and survivors) when I'm just trying to play a game and have fun with my friends. Honestly, the DbD community is one of the worst communities I have ever come across. Not saying all DbD players are horrible, just the group of bad apples ruining the experience for everyone else.
I'm hoping one day the community will be a better place and will be nicer towards fellow players, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

All of this... over a video game. I'm not even surprised by the toxicity and entitlement anymore. This is why I've lost my passion to play this game. Unless it's with friends I just dread playing it all together. Part of it is things like this.
Also, with as well as she handled this situation she really needs to make it so that people who aren't friends with her won't be able to message her, at least until this blows over for her. I do commend how non toxic she was and didn't make things personal.

Every time I visited my Nan she would always give me an ice lolly, so I called her “Nanny Lolly”. So, the tattoo is that because it was essentially her name for me :) There’s no real reason for the melting part, other than the fact that I liked the design and it was a way to add the watercolour to it :)

the worst I have witnessed so far personally was a french streamer (playing Huntress) just out of the blue tunneling the shit out of me ignoring other teammates. So naturally when I saw he was a ttv and live i asked him “Hey, I am the yui and was wondering what I did to you for you to tunnel me like that.” To which he replied in french “I don’t understand English”
Now I had french in school for 5 years, meaning i could mostly understand him but am just really bad at forming sentences but someone in chat was kind enough to translate telling me it was the Megs fault (a friend I was in a swf with) bc she clicked and so the whole team had to pay. When in reality what happened was that my friend clicked once (telling me in vc that he felt bad for it) to get the killers attention so they would leave me as they were tunnelling.
So I replied to that person “Where was the Meg toxic?” then i tried explaining what my friend was trying to do but by that point i was already banned from chat…
I honestly had to laugh at this bc to me people taking things THIS serious in a game should consider taking a break and rethinking some life choices, maybe go to the beach swimming or something
