Man calls you a coward on stream and he's being hounded for being a woman beater, a porn addict etc etc. Use are all just letting it happen too and I know use all agree with it. Kind of negates your "positivity" message when you allow your fans to be worst, whilst claiming righteousness, reminds me of a certain meme. Nice touch on the "my motto", really a testament to your narcissistic self obsessed nature, a problem with many streamers. I suppose when you want all the money in world whilst not wanting to work for it, you would naturally gravitate to this "profession". Should he of commented about doxxing? Doesn't matter, it's his stream and they were obviously joking. You don't get to decide what's funny or not. He didn't come into your chat saying how he was going to doxx you, he literally ONLY said "coward" unless you're an easily offended, sheltered, thot, soi boy. It should just pass over your head with great confusion. They were playing with two other lassies, both of which were comfortable enough to criticise them when they went a bit too far and they ended up having a very calm jokey conversation after the match showing that not only are they indeed whipped (A joke btw) by the lassies but it also solidifies the fact that they were joking. The fact that your posting here saying what you're saying proves how dam salty you were over a single word. On top of that, you're a streamer, you literally have the easiest job in the world. Sitting on your ass all day stuffing your face. If you can't take a little bit of banter here and there, (don't make that for harassment, this wasn't.) Then you're in the wrong business. The DBD community is objectively one of the top 5 worst Gaming communities of all time. I'm surprised you're surprised that people act like this in the game. I quit this game 100% because of the community
chances are they are just bad people in general. if you are this trashy on your second day, you are just trashy, nothing to do with the game anymore tbh.
Speaking from experience here:
If you are a woman who plays games with people like this, their sexism is going to affect you. You'll start to devalue yourself and see yourself as lesser-than because those sexist ideals are surrounding you and drowning you, which will affect your mental health. Please, please, please realize that these people aren't the kind you should be hanging out with. I know it's hard to take a step back and realize this, but you may need to distance yourself. Be good people, and surround yourself with good people, you'll be better off for it.

I've never heard the term "gender wars" used before, but that shouldn't be the way people look at it. It's not some sort of contest, it's simply just wanting people to be better to each other.
Edit: In addition, nobody ever said all men. XO Selhket said "since the dawn of time" in regards to oppression. It would be remiss to deny that women have indeed been oppressed for centuries. Heck, 103 years ago we only just earned the right to vote.

Survivor Vocab is actually insane. Can’t tell you how many TTV’s I’ve faced as killer that say I’m tunneling when I go for the same person after 2 hooks on other survivors. Can’t wait till they actually play in Tunneling matches where killers will straight up camp and tunnel someone out of the match.
Im ashamed to be a survivor main sometimes. For people like this guy.
@@pepster9217 I mainly play survivor but I at least recognize when something is happening vs when it’s not happening. It’s so annoying when streamers are toxic like this because people like to check out streamers they play with and then get hit with this.

When survivor mains find something they don't like, they add an ing to the end of it and repeat it like a parrot. For example: SlugING, campING, TunnelING... winING.
Weird to say they dox gamer girls while playing with what sounds like two gamer girls. Obviously its really creepy but it's so weird he even says it with gamer girl friends and that they will play with him with that stance.
No kidding. If I had male friends with that mindset (even if it's "just jokes"), I'd drop their asses asap. Harrassment and threats are never funny, they're such dickheads and the female friends are idiots for going along with them. Sad.

Weird dynamic that’s been around for years. Likes the girls if they’re perceived week but on their side. Hate any other females. Doxed 4 times, unprovoked, and still get harassed from time to time by these people from years ago.

I have only been streaming for a little over a month and have had some "men" come into my chat and call me fat and ugly over them losing to me. Its sad how people react during a game. I've had an entire server of people shun me over a game. Some people don't understand how to leave the game and not make it personal.
I play regularly with my wife and sister-in-low as a 3-man SWF, and I am proud to brag that we are the exact opposite: We aren't saints but we just want to have fun. No toxic shit, no whining, no shit talking, and most of all no doxing threats even with/against the most toxic players. Life's too short to give yourself an aneurysm being angry while PLAYING A GAME IN YOUR FREE TIME FFS. 🤷♀️

So they are brand new players and think they know how to play and are already entitled to the point they are telling the killer how they are suppose to play which is basically 'dont do your objective' and threaten and harass them if killer does other wise. Lord they musta been sac to the entity so many times they truly have lost all of their humanity/sanity
Hearing the discomfort in his fellow players voice the moment he crosses that line is painful. Why play with him? Call him out.

Remember doxing can be part of cyberbullying which in some places is an actual crime that can carry jail time. Do not cyberbully people, it has real world harm and real world consequences. If you think you may be a victim of some form of cyberbullying please look up what options you have for where you are to deal with it and don't be afraid to involve law enforcement authorities where appropriate.

The tunneling was strong with that Huntress. So strong she was already tunneling 17 seconds into the match. I want to learn her ways.
Bunny is a close friend of mine and I can honestly say she’s very wholesome and didn’t deserve any of this horrible treatment. She deserves nothing but the best.
The bad thing is that when the male friend was asking to get the streamers number it made me cringe. I had a situation on another game recently that as soon as the guys found out we were all female they wouldn't leave us alone asking us for our snap chats. This is pretty common behavior in competitive games but it's horrible when you can see it happening on stream. It really makes me want to beg people like this to remember that everyone is human and deserves respect.
I feel everybody gets rough games every so often, but the best thing to do is just move on to the next lobby, not every game is gonna go your way. As an example, I had a camping and tunneling Bubba yesterday and i ended up being the only person to escape through hatch. Did I act toxic in the end game chat? No, in fact I gave the killer some tips and told him good luck and that he’d reach iridescent 1 soon with the tips I told him. The guy seemed fairly nice, so I treated him the same way. Respect is a two way street people, you can’t expect someone to respect you if you behave like this streamer.
I had a very rough day today, this is the exact kind of video I wanna see before bed. Your vibe is so relaxing and I always enjoy seeing people talk about toxicity. Thank you, Aaron.

As a woman (and a streamer) who's been gaming since my teens, I've heard everything under the sun. I used to be mad at little things in the game, and a whole lot of things, but I would NEVER go to this extent that this streamer did. I have calmed down A LOT now, and am a much better person (and streamer) for it. It's literally just a video game, a bunch of zeros and ones - if you have to threaten DOSing, then you haven't been outside in a very long time

Because once gamer girls start playing with boys like this, they’ll act just like them and hate on other gamer girls because they feel superior. Look at them talking shit about the other streamer and feeling like the victim. They won’t get offended because they feel as though it’s funny. They’re apart of the problem as well. You have to be a special kind of entitled if you seriously think finding a survivor at the beginning of the game is tunneling
Even in my games as Full Silent Demo, (yes I am a Demo main. We exist) I always get the tunneling accusation whether it be the survivors just making bad plays or I can't find anyone for a while and HAPPEN to find the person who was unhooked a minute ago
Honestly, it's not the killers job to hook everyone equally. It's the survivor's job to take agro and make it happen

I agree with the majority of your points here but one: In the part where you said we could cut the girls in the SWF some slack for at least offering to move on? I have two questions: One: What if the killer was NOT a gamer girl? Would they have still asked for them to move on, or would they have continued their toxic behavior? The girls were behaving toxically as well before they learned it was a gamer girl they lost to, so in my opinion slack should not be shown. And two: You've said in the past that we should hold friends accountable; that when we are in a team of friends and we notice our friends are acting poorly, we should hold them accountable, or we're just as bad. So why can't we do that here?
Yes, I respect that she asked to move on. But then stopped after she was denied. I wish she'd kept pushing. Maybe point out "Guys, I'm a gamer girl. Let's not do this." or "Seriously, what you're doing is wrong."
I believe in accountability, regardless of gender. You'll note the girls laughed just as much when the guys were laughing and backtracking. To them, it was still a joke. You even admit yourself the girls are trying to shift blame. They aren't willing to acknowledge that they were just as involved in the behavior.

Good lord. I've met newer survivors and killers and they are not this toxic. In fact they are very nice. Most of the people I've met through DBD have been nice. I've met a lot of friends through dbd. And I didn't start playing for a while because I was scared. The whole toxic community preceded itself. Maybe their thought process is "I have to be more toxic." Like double down on the toxicity BUT LIKE WHAT?! Also I'm sure the girl streamer was upset NOT because you were newbies BUT because you were calling her names and saying you would dox her and making sexist remarks over a video game. The exact reason why she probably has follower only chat on. (I just saw the part of the video where she was not even upset but confused which makes it more hilarious that they were carrying on like that) I was going to give the green girl some kudos for telling the streamer guy to stop but then later on she makes excuses for him. I get it is tough to stand up to 2 guys who are bullshitting. It gets to a certain place where you can talk until you are blue in the face but they don't hear you. So I understand it being tough. I've been in that position but you don't then make excuses for them later. Mr. Streamer, you are streamer and you are acting mean in a video game against a real person. Even if it meant to be a joke it is not coming off that way. Re-evaluate since streaming is a responsibility and requires you to be a decent human if you want to grow. Also think about what you are saying and how it can affect your friends. I'm assuming both green and blue were women in your swf. Making sexist jokes and saying you are going to dox gamer girls is not a joke. If I was in your swf listening to that, I would not want to be your friend if this is how you treat a random woman over a game. It's ok to lose. I have almost 3k hours in DBD and I lose all the time. Nothing is going to happen to you if you accept a loss. You learn from it and move on. Don't double down into toxic ways to cover up for it. That is a Big old oof. I've never understood the players who throw a massive tantrum when they lose. Like it's bound to happen in this type of game so I don't get why some people are so dramatic about it. I've been playing Dead by Daylight since 2018 and I'm a survivor main and some days I feel like I die way more than I win. But never has losing sent me into a rage, especially not to the point where I feel compelled to threaten other players.

I get people can be competitive but I've never been so angry in any game to want to threaten someone. It just doesn't compute in my brain.

On my second day of playing DBD, I lost constantly. It took me around 20 Matches until I won for the first time (Against a Spirit, I can't remember what I ate 2h ago, but I remember that the first escape was against a damn Spirit on Bloodlodge (in 2018). I was playing Meglodon.)
My sister and I play three times a night, for three months - we still fail more than win. It's part of the game).

To be the great comedy and irony is how many times they wanted to throw out coward, when their behavior during and after this stream was indicative of their own cowardness. After calling them out as well I had 2 of them try to come back at me, double down, etc. The kicker was when they realized I was a *dun dun dun* MAN and wasn't bothered by their idiocy so they resorted to the funniest ad hominem ever by trying to insult the fact that I'm a male dancer and pole dancer, lol. Thank you for shedding light on players like this. They need to see from another perspective how their behaviour looks to others rather than just within their swf where it is encouraged. I hope it helps them see how shitty and honestly cringe their actions are and makes them want to do better (I doubt it, but I have hope). I also hope their female friend realises just how toxic these guys are and how its affecting her too and gets as far away from them as possible, she shouldn't stand up for their actions at all and get better friends.
Sidenote: It's honestly so ironic that they kept commenting that the killer is mad at them when they are relentlessly throwing hate at her for just doing her objective??? Projecting at it's finest.

It's one thing when a guy is just trashtalking and going out the game to trash talk because you can always block them, It's a whole different thing when the guy is threatening to do illegal actions like doxxing to harm someone. First, I want to say that the huntress did an excellent job. She had an aura build that is at it’s most effective in an outdoor map. Yet, she managed to pull it off in an indoor map w/o any gen def.
Second, I feel like the swf was already toxic before they started playing dbd. These feelings that they’re expressing, do not show up overnight. The only way the dbd community had anything to do with it is if they heard that the community was toxic and thought they would fit right in.
I really hope they (and others) can learn from this.

Curious how they are so entitled already with such little time playing, I feel it may prove that DBD doesn't always turn people into that kind of person, sometimes they already are. Their use of the standard killer playstyle phrases are quite amusing but its also unfortunate how quickly they have already began spouting these phrases and being entitled. I have people calling me all kinds of things during games and popping into my stream to insult me. We then end up chilling and having a good time as it's never that serious as I am just not someone that gets worked up. I do wonder though, if I was a girl if I would get that same reaction and treatment. Like, it's acceptable to lose to a guy who is then chill with you but if the girl is chill with you, it almost gets them worked up more. These guys really tried turning it around at the end there. Like they intentionally were cryptic in the huntress' stream and then collectively laugh at her for wondering what they meant. Just feels like a heckler at a stand up comedy show.
Distortion actually has refillable tokens. you can only max at 3 tokens at one time but if youre in the terror radius of the killer you earn tokens back.

And i usually might sound like a "survivor blaming only killers" type of guy,but this comes maybe even more frequently now also from co-survivors. I got a death threat from a Vittorio random,because i ran sprint burst together with Urban Evasion. I have been seriously burnt out on the game forever now,i play with a seriously limited amount of motivation. And when i do,i try to focus on fun compendium challenges so i can try to unlock lore,and get some extra BPs for it. And thats why i needed thoose 2 perks,i needed to hide within a close range of the killer for a serious amount of time,and it needed to happen in a single trial. So i failed a ton! It frustrated me to the core,until i finally in that match with the Vittorio actually got the challenge done. I got awarded with a death threat! Co-survivors also trying theyr outmost to create some sort of bully atmosphere in endgame chat,just because they didnt like how i played my character,or they work with the killers,throws the game on purpose only to put blame afterwards (self entitlement at its worst). Like i said already,i tried to find some type of fun with this game.... I last like 5 seconds in a chase,because this game is so insanely 1 sided now,and because im not motivated enough to even try to sweat.
I try to have fun in a GAME (game = fun),when it becomes "a job" its no longer a game for me. So instead of massively DCing if people are wasting my time (survivors taking me hostage,killers taking me hostage,facecampers and tunnelers,not caring that it will be a waste of my time,and only leave me with 2 or 4k in bloodpoints or less,i desperately try to find some fun with this game with all of its issues. I would rather watch paint dry then to have my time wasted.....
So cut me some slack when i try my outmost to find things to change around my focus and mentality with.
Because newsflash,CahlaFlour recently on the drop of the newest chapter got negativity in her chat,theyr sole purpose was to come into a DBD stream to lay it on the streamer how boring and bad the game currently was. She just could not ignore it,so she lectured them with her being seriously effin burnt out on this game (over a long time already),and she had days were it was okay,where she was able to have abit of fun. And there were alot of bad days..... Thats why she switched up games soo frequently,and mainly went back to DBD just to check out new content,and try to spread some joy by having free giveaways given from Bhvr. So she strictly demanded to cut the salt and negativity out from her chat right away,because she was really trying to do her job,despite fighting her own feelings towards the game.
After hearing how upset she got,and how she destroyed them by being educational and delievering facts,they did fear getting banned so they piggybacked and apologized,wich is nice. But it came from Cahla,who i consider "The female face of DBD". She has been in countless of gatherings taking pictures with the devs,shes been at theyr offices,she has some of them as moderators in her community and so on... And hearing that from her really made me feel better,because i felt like i was alone there.
But its also alarming when such an important creator like Cahla is so open about her own struggles (it also highlights her amazing personality,where she tries her best to "stick with DBD",for the sace of her community) And Cahla is fed up with DBD for the issues discussed or highlighted in this video: toxic behaviour,doxing of content creators,hackers/cheaters,male and female d-bags and so on.
The years i played COD and competetive shooters ALOT,i got called many things over proxy chat,but honestly..... i have never experienced so much sabotage ingame and self entitled nonsence,together with toxic behaviour as in DBD. This is THE worst community i have ever been in. (And yes,i do have some really good friends from it too,so not all bad but still defintly the worst community ever)
Thats why i have left DBD for months and months,only to return and experiencing the same things and leave again.
A really good video this,i love to see content creators that stands up for especially ladies like this,that doesnt do anything wrong. We all have experienced that our mouths does slip when we are at our saltiest or angriest moments. But to go on her constantly like this,in a pack .....gives me bully and even "R-word" vibes. Just goes to show that new players are either tempted to join dbd because of the amount of toxicity,or they think thats the "norm" amongst dbd players. (Then again,Bhvr never really slams theyr fist down on this,so what is there to expect?!)

Hey Aaron, Wowsers, what a bunch of dummies, when I first played Dead by Daylight, I didn't know what I was doing either but I tried my best because they didn't have a training mode in the game so I can practice before diving in? Nope that didn't happen so I had no choice but to dive into Dead by Daylight not knowing what I was doing, did I get angry at the game after dying so many times? The answer is no, after three games I decided no, I'm not doing so great in the game, so I left Dead by Daylight and played something else, later on about a year later I made friends who played Dead by Daylight and they teach me how to play as Survivor in a custom game lobby and I had a fantastic time, after that I kept on playing Dead by Daylight, mostly by myself and I always teaching myself to never get angry, never get salty, the game is manly luck based with lots of strong Perks on both ends, no matter what happens win or lose you just have fun and enjoy the game regardless of results. Also after playing the game for so long I've started giving people Props, giving them the extra niceness and make them feel better, regardless of results. I remember my second game of playing.
It was as a wraith against a swf on fucking red forest.
Now my strategy this game was to wait out hooks for someone to go for a rescue land a free hit and then commit to a chase forcing a 3rd person off a gen to go for the save.
This match resulted in a 3k and the crying afterward was unbelievable.
They constantly tried to dictate the way I played calling me numerous names, trash camper, one even called me a slur.
And I’m like wtf how can you argue with my results?
I didn’t even tunnel by definition either.
They even saw I was a rank 20 new killer with 1 perk and did not give a shit.
They lost against a total noob playing a middle tier killer with 1 perk on a survivor sided map.

I remeber my first 2 days of playing DbD. I was having fun with friends and getting terrified by the killer (and other players popping out of nowhere lol) because I'd never played any horror-type game before. I can't imagine being this upset at a game so early on into playing it.
