I actually think it's an incredibly good idea to shout out other wholestome streamers. Regardless of whether it's DBD or any other game, it's important that we recognize the good and wholesome content creators out there just as much as (if not more than) the toxic ones.

Imagine sharing these screenshots with you thinking they were the ones coming out clean in this interaction. 🤔 They both seem like terrible people tbh, and while it absolutely does not warrant that level of reaction I have a weird feeling that "L" was probably cheating. I've noticed a lot of people who cheat tend to come out full blast in the endgame chat with the verbal abuse because they're projecting. Who knows.

@@braedenmclean5304 I don't know much about DBD so I need to ask: are matches automatically recorded? because, if not, its makes complete sense that they weren't recording their own gameplay; the TTV also wasn't streaming this game it seems so there's likely no footage or proof of anything
1) I love that you kept the hall monitor badge lol. 2) L deserves no sympathy and is equally as bad and I really appreciate you calling out people like them. their comment "your moms sitting in an ash jar you old ... pushing 30" filled me with as much disgust and anger as all of the ttv's language, but it also unfortunately shows how young they probably are and that's just really really sad. I really hope they/younger people like them mature from this behavior as they get older but the internet sadly reinforces this mindset for too many people

The reason this type of behavior is more common now is because people these days can shit talk behind a computer screen. This gives some people a false sense of ego and entitlement. Best thing you can do to these types of people is ignore them or block them and move on with your day. They're not worth the energy or time.
Back in the days when if someone disrespected your name you could cut out their tounge and none would bat and eye, imagine if that was possible now! Ha.

I was thinking during the story that L kinda goated him on to get a reaction , its not excusing the streamer but it does show that some people( like L) want to get streamers to rage then expose them on youtube even tho they set whole thing up. Love the new set up, Aaron !! Also the comment about your viewers' health being more important than watching a video is such a nice message, I feel like a lot of people ignore that for the sake of supporting a creator they like, and a lot of creators will gladly take their views regardless.
I was just having a discussion the other day Aaron with some folks in Discord about how the Negative players get so much focus amongst content creators, but that's also what grabs the views - so I don't knock it. But I also feel the positive interactions for outweigh the negative ones I receive and I feel there's way more good in the DBD community than what most perceive. I absolutely love the positive ending you put into here. I think it's very much needed!

Not defending the TTV but to be fair, the person that sent the images is not that good of a person either... I used to play a lot of dbd, mostly as killer, and the first impressions stick a lot, so when this guy sent that first msg, the TTV kept in mind that this guy is not a super nice person and really leashed out some rage he already had towards people like that and the usage of dead hard.

The shout out at the end is such a great idea! Its a good way to get a hopeful outlook about the DBD community after hearing about not so good people. I personally recommend TheMrVOID. He's a smaller creator but literally the sweetest guy. I've been watching him for a while and there is zero toxicity or salt from him, just good vibes. Plus, he says dad jokes!
I love the idea of the endings. What if people also submitted wholesome streamers like they submit toxic encounters? That way there's more variety of different types of streamers people in your community like to watch. Just a suggestion though. Great vid as usual Aaron ❤💕🥰

I love the shoutout at the end to the streamers! I can recommend Zet0r and Lewjaaa that are wholesome and part of the positive community of DBD. Zet0r also posts a lot of DBD videos on CZcams and they are hilarious! Always put a smile on my face

I checked myself earlier when I accused someone of playing on an alt steam account. They were playing nurse and there was no way they had 100 hours in the game. Once they explained they had 2k hours on console and had recently switched to PC I felt like such a dumbass, but it makes sense with no cross progression. It's just a game people... Guess I'm just used to thinking the worst when I've had my fair share of hackers and vpns for 6 years. I felt like a jerk and apologized.

It must be stated, that "SPED" can be used in a way that isnt negative. When becoming a teacher, it is common to see "Special Education" (the classes itself) be referred to "SPED", in fact, I am taking a SPED course right now since it is required to become a teacher.
Context matters, and the context that this TTV is using it is meant to be offensive since they are using it to describe a person directly.

Is Dead Hard really a problem for killers? I've never had a problem taking down survivors who use Dead Hard. It's really not that difficult if you're an experienced killer.

Sucks that this is such a common occurrence, I recently had a teammate get mad at me for having my name as 'Mikaela hater' they started messaging me on steam calling me the n word and f slur and also left a comment on my profile telling me to hang myself and also saying the same stuff in endgame chat too. I found his twitter and asked him to explain himself, so he tried to claim it was his cousin sending those messages (they had the exact same typing style soo...) and blocked me, the worst part is he is 29 YEARS OLD. saying things like that because I expressed my dislike for a dbd character when I was half joking about it anyway. I dont understand why so many people in the dbd community are like this. I found out he was a twitch streamer after the match too but I dont think he was streaming and he has vods off. I cant imagine being such a disappointing human being like sheesh.

I think when you look at the end game chat it really gives you some insight into how some folks are truly wired. Sometimes gaming brings out the worst in people. Gotta take a long look inside when it does. 🤦🏼♂️
I had a TTV player yesterday click their flashlight on me and try to loop me. I hooked them twice because I don't think they're as good as they think they are (or they underestimated my skill at breaking loops). The third time I got them downed they DCed immediately it was kind of funny.

Both of them are deplorable in this case, the player for starting it all and just rekindle the flame many times and the TTV for getting in his game and ultimately losing his temper and insulting

So I’ve just received a 30 day ban from PlayStation because a survivor harassed me for killing then on the game… didn’t swear, didn’t insult him, apart from telling him to touch grass and to grow up and he was calling me a Virgin, a twat etc… yet PlayStation decided that I was to be banned… makes sense right?

Just contact their customer support and they'll unban you if it really was under unjust causes. Somtimes those systems are initially run by AI which can make mistakes.

@@SmithicusMedia Okay I looked it up to be sure and it says the PSN bans are overlooked by agents from Sony, not run by an AI program. That means you likely did something that was far beyond what you're claiming. I would suspect the other person got a ban as well. My suggestion in the future if you encounter people like that, don't respond to them just report and block and move on. The moment you argue with them you're putting yourself at risk on an online platform.

This survivor instigated this and then the ttv gets called out which yeah horrible shit was said but would it have gotten to this point if the survivor just stfu and wasn't a poor winner.
But that's their attitude and how they handle themselves. It doesn't matter if the survivor was being a dick, reacting like that over a video game is way worse. L only exposed what was underneath lmao.

Funnily enough I had someone join my stream the other day with the intent of getting a rise out of me after camping me to death on first hook as Sadako. It's rather easy not to feed into this kind of thing. But aaaaah, I remember going through all of middle school being called a 'Sped' because I was a little whacko growing up. I have seen a lot of videos of people going against TTVs who get annoyed and then say nothing in EGC, but still end up being featured in "salty TTV" videos. To me it borders on bullying, and especially when you leave it in the game it really should be done.
Also... SPXX is Special Ed, I believe. In the American education system we have what is called an 'IEP' Individualized Education Plan, which is usually offered to those who have learning disabilities. Typically those who need accommodations like this are called....XXXX

I'm writing this only like halfway through the video, around 10:17 , I honestly don't think either of them were in the right but no matter what happened or was said, most of the stuff the streamer said was way too far. Like god, that's horrible.
I play DBD a lot and anytime I play with or against a streamer I also drop in after to watch back the game and drop a follow. It's so stupid to get so pissed over a fucking game.
I've been playing this game for almost 4 years, and the one time I got mad to the point of messaging someone I ended up apologizing a few minutes later. I let my emotions get the best of me. I didn't say anything horrible, it's been a while but it was mostly just fuck you and such related, before I would never ever, no matter how mad I get, say something like the stuff said in the video.
In all honesty, I don't think L and the TTV are in the right. Like you said, L most likely crop out things they said. L is like those bullies I had in middle school who tries getting a reaction out of me or try to trigger me into having a meltdown (I'm autistic and that's why) and when I have either of those things I'm either laughed at for being a 'spaz' or made to look like in the wrong. Trust me though, I'm nothing like that TTV nor will I ever support someone like them. I'm just pointing L out like Aaron did. Honestly, he's right, try ignoring people like L. When I was getting bullied and was triggered constantly, I've learned to leave the room when I'm about to have a meltdown, just like I take a break when I'm getting annoyed in Dead by Daylight. I think a lot more people need to learn to walk away from something if it's making you upset.
Btw mettle of man is not an endurance hit, it's even better. Mettle of man completely IGNORES the hit and doesnt even send u into deep would. AND IT ALSO WORKS IN DEEP WOUND! Its kinda busted if used in the endgame. Mainly the endgame because it indefinitely reveals your aura when you are hit with the ignored hit.

You can’t use dead hard with off the record because if you get hit with off the record you are put into the mending state and can’t use dead hard until you mend. Unless the survivor somehow found a way to mend mid chase?

Just report/block the person and move on with your day. I don't know why that's such a hard concept for people now a days. There is also nothing snowflakey about not reading these words because they are indeed gawd awful words with terrible meaning that people use with malicious intent. People have gotten a lot more rotten and terrible over the internet because they know they can get away with it most of the time. They want their five minutes of fame and they don't care what they do to get it. Attention whores will gladly take whatever attention they can get, even if it's bad. I just tell trolls to have a blessed day and move on now. It's been the easiest.

When i first started to watch the video the first thing i saw was L instigating the arguement in the beginning and im glad you called that out.
I love the shoutouts to wholesome streamers and think it’s so important to support those that are striving for good vibes and to have a positive effect on those around them. One of my favorites is a horror variety streamer, which includes playing DBD, who has a very LGBTQ+ friendly environment and also supports mental health awareness and safe spaces. He goes by Dreamwarrior and I think you’d like his vibe. Huge fan of yours and thank you for all you do to promote positivity and compassion…

I had someone today facecamp and tunnel my friend(friend 1) out of our match(even after i literally put myself in front of the killer, while injured, and he didnt go after me), and we got 3 people out. he messaged my other friend(friend 2) that he sucks and how he's trash, kept making remarks at the end of the game even though we moved on and laughed at the killer
I agree that being non-toxic can help make others less toxic, I remember one game that ended, the killer was fully dominating us, but I was able to escape as hatch opened close to where I was. The killer was really salty about this, and used a lot of strong words to say that I was lucky, and needed to stop living, and I just responded with me say that yes, I were lucky, and that if I were not, he would probably have killed me, which he then responded with a sorry for his comment.
Also, if you want a suggestion for a wholesome DbD streamer, I would say Bearsdotexe, she is great fun with her survivor plays, and has a rat cam instead of a face cam, which also adds charm to her streams, and overall is really sweet.
Both of those people woke up and decided they needed an all day argument, people really be out here having multi hour and multi platform arguments
In regards to JG, that is just a regular Leatherface main. Very normal and ok.
As a very chill killer main who only plays survivor in custom I really don't care about dead hard

Tbh, I find the best way of dealing with trolls coming into chat is to ask them to stop (they never do), thank them for the views, and ban them. No exceptions. I don't need their bad vibes in chat.
I mald and get frustrated myself but still can't understand harassing a person over a game. Giving such toxicity the time of day is not helping and reacting in any way beyond an initial request to stop isn't worth the breath required. Online gaming is kinda a cesspool when social media is added to the mix though.

I play against the occasional Survivor that uses Dead Hard and question whether I actually hit the Survivor or not..... I forget about it a few moments later....... Or until it happens again.

I doubt anything else was said tbh, L's friend seemed to want the heat, joining the discord kinda proves this. What else could the dude say that they wished to keep out? talking about the dudes mother dying, every slur on the planet, you name it was shown. I'd probably join the discord just see to the rage cuz I find this kinda stuff funny. L's friend was probably of the same mind, funny stuff wish I ran into these people more often.
