I own both the BLRO/Pepsi and BLNR/Batman Jubilee. I prefer the BLNR by a large margin after living with both. The colors of the BLNR are spot on in every light and more vibrant. Mt BLRO is too pastel looking and never matches any clothing. Think red shirt, pink tie vibe from the BLRO and you get where I am coming from. The BLNR on Jubilee is THE Rolex GMT to own. It is stunning!🔥.
OT: Why is the watch in this video and macro pics absolutely filthy with mud on the clasp and bezel??? Absolutely bizarre and must be done on purpose???
The real life shots are definitelly mu favourite, they really shows how beautiful the watch is matched with the outfit!

If the "Batman" has the oyster bracelet I would call this one the "Bruce Wayne" since it's more dressed up with the jubilee. Batman is rugged hence the oyster while Bruce Wayne is more GQ hence the jubilee. Just haven't figured out why everyone else hasn't figured this out yet lol

I agree. Calling what is clearly a male watch “Batgirl” is stupid. And exactly the reason why Rolex geeks need to all be banned from ever owning one.
Appreciate your work. And I thank you for giving me the imperfection tell all. I brought my loupe and I was fortunate to get offered a watch that was basically imperfection free. I would have declined the purchase offer if they were present. I do wish the quickset was there and the clasp had the glidelock. Otherwise I’m very happy with the watch.

Great watch. I had one as my daily wearer but sold it because I want a VC 1956 complete cake see complication to where with a nato band. I also bought the Rolex YM 226659. Love that watch. Best Rolex!!

It’s actually the newer 126710blnr
I’m about three years late here, but in order to have a quick set date on a traveler GMT, an extra crown position would be needed. That’s just how traveler GMTs work. It is so the date will change automatically when setting your new time when you cross the IDL. In that regard, it is very convenient. But yes, I get that adjusting the date otherwise is a bit cumbersome.

Great video - The BLNR on jubilee aka The Bruce Wayne is the way to go. The jubilee really makes the watch pop, more scratch resistant than the oyster PCL, and makes it unique, as it separates it from the sea of oyster bracelets out there.
Oyster is better in sporty watch. Jublie is good on datejust
@@rocket3193 totally disagree. Oysters on Subs, Yachtmasters, Explorers. Keep the stylish jubilee on the GMTs. There is a reason why my ADs say that the waiting list is longer for the much sought after jubilees on the Batman.
In a collection, if one has a sub or a GMT, the GMT 100% is best on jubilee for variety

@@JimJones762x39 both are unofficial terms so I’ve no idea why you or anyone insists they have jurisdiction over a nickname? When Rolex put on their posters that it is called a ‘Batgirl’ I’m on board.
It’s amazing that Rolex QC seems so shoddy these days. It seems they feel they can get away with smudges and dust because they know their products will sell no matter what. BTW I’m sure you’ve been told this before, but your photography and macros are beautiful to behold, and your reviews in general are very informative, bringing both good and bad aspects into view. Their watches ALWAYS had these QC issues. Fanboys just made excuses or ignored the issues.
One thing we've realised from this channel is poor QC across all luxury brands - omega, AP etc They don't hold up under the macro
Great video again! Still really enjoy the 3rd person views. Howeve, at 8:13 you mention NO micro adjustments in the clasp. But there are the normal 3 positions of micro. Just wanted to point it out and again outstanding video!

I'm a newcomer to your channel but hands watched and enjoyed all your reviews. Thanks for pointing out that the 126710BLRO does not sport the maxi case, as other channels or websites seem to indicate. That also helps me to realise that this unit wears better on my 16cm (6.3") wrist. The point on Jubilee bracelet is much appreciated. I'm glad that I'll be getting this version. The point on the date adjustment is agreed but that's Rolex for us.
I like the BLNR jubilee better than the Pepsi ( I think it looks more elegant and balanced) ... for me, it’s the best model

Another amazing review of a gorgeous watch. Although the Pepsi is the more sought-after model, I find the bezel on the Batman to have a crisper, brighter look. The colors on the ceramic Pepsi appear a bit dull compared to the aluminum bezel on the 16710, presumably due to the technical issues in creating a red/blue single piece ceramic bezel. One small correction. The clasp on this watch does have 3 micro-adjustment points. Keep up the excellent work, Hafiz. It is appreciated.

Honestly I think the jubilee on the BLNR looks AMAZING. Imho the oyster would have looked better if the center links weren't polished.
Edit - very interesting that the oyster won't fit on the batgirl case. Intentional on Rolex's part no doubt, since the oyster batman is now discontinued.

Yes the Jubilee is perfect on the BLNR. There are tons of watches that use oyster bracelets, and the Jubilee makes the BLNR pop and unique

At first i thought i would like the Root Beer more than the Pepsi, but after having both I immediately sold the Root Beer bcos it’s too old and bit of boring looking to me. But with the Pepsi i got compliments a lot from all of my workmates.So the hype is real for this Pepsi i have to believe it now

hafiz, i need your advice again. you helped with my selection of the AP ROC and i love that watch. i don't have a steel bracelet in my collection and have narrowed it down to batman > batgirl > hulk, sadly resigned to the fact that i'll need to go onto the grey market (1st time). i like the look of the oyster bracelet of the batman but am tempted by the better movement of the batgirl...what would you recommend?
I personally think the new movement isn’t so groundbreaking that I’ll personally compromise on the looks. It’s only extra power reserve, there’s still no quick date change, no display back (which probably won’t happen in next 20 years).
If I were you, I think I’ll go with batman on oyster just because there’s isn’t much the batgirl has other than looks which I know you don’t prefer over oyster bracelet.

have you ever heard the rotor rattle on the 5711, or see the incorrectly polished bezels on the aquanaut? Yeah even PP has QC issues.

A very balanced comprehensive review. I opted for the rugged Tudor BB GMT as I don't want to be too Rolex heavy with my watches, I saved the extra money, tucked away for 5 years. The Rolex gmt and Tudor are strikingly similar, apart from the very bulky and heavy movement in the Tudor, I always wanted a GMT watch but did not want to pay the Rolex price, I am now happy with my low rent Tudor but then again Rolex is not haute horology to which this review can attest. Rolex GMT is a stunningly beautiful but overpriced watch, the Tudor but the does exactly the same function. Do not let your ego cost you money like a watch snob. I am reluctant to spend on liabilities. Nice content.
With the soaring inflated price of the GMT Master II, it's probably not a great idea to wear $15-20K instant cash on your wrist for personal safety.

Many thanks for well wishes. For one watch, Batman or any all steel watch is a better choice. Two tone is nice, but isn’t anywhere as versatile and daily-able as any all steel Rolex.

I have a submariner that’s starting to get small red dots on the dial . Perhaps rust ? I have a 5 year warranty and it’s only been a year . What a joke it better be covered

Nicky T I had the GMT Master II and the paint on the GMT hand was a disaster - you could see easily how bad it was finished ... the movement did very weird sounds when just checking someone hands ... it just didn’t feel right to me and I end up selling it ... it’s a pity how the QC from Rolex is becoming a huge issue ...
Rodrigo Quintero Bejarano my daytona had a dust spot on the dial after 2 months of owning it, that was fixed immediately. Now my submariner has small red specs on the dial and the watch stopped working . I never ever had a problem with brietling or omega.
Nicky T that’s the reason why I went up to higher end brands like the Glashütte SeaQ Panorama Datum, it’s a amazing piece and the quality is juts top notch

I appreciate this video and it's very well produced and narrated, however, I would kindly suggest that before taking macro shots that you please at least wipe your watch to remove surface dirt, grime and dust. It's very noticeable when your videos are HD - the dirt on the watch is very clear and a bit off- putting. To be clear, I'm not talking about the imperfections under the sapphire crystal or the micro scratches from wear - I'm talking about the grime on the surface of the watch and around the bracelet.
Many thanks. I agree. I actually do wipe and wash watches very thoroughly. But went wrong in this video was I washed it and shot the clips, and didnt realise it still had smudge marks and dirt around cyclops until I had shot all the clips and returned the watch. Lesson learnt and I am improving on that. Please do checkout my more recent videos and let me know if you find them better than this one.

Rolex own a perfect designed Glidelock extension system, but still continue to use an ugly Easylink for 10K watches.
Always been a Rolex fan but the prices keep going up while the quality keeps going down. The new generation of Omega watches are now better by a noticeable margin. It will catch them out when people stop buying them purely for the name on the dial.

Another great video! What makes me surprise is imperfection and fine scratches in all your Rolex collection. That's little dis encouraging otherwise many thanks for putting this together.
DJ yes, Hafiz seems rather unlucky with his rolexes put to review here, mine is pretty much flawless.
1:11 the dirt inside the crevices of this watch in these shots is unfortunate - for a brand new piece this is unusual but could easily have been cleaned with a little bit of liquid soap and a rinse
I know. Apologies for that. I actually cleaned the watch and didn’t realise the smudge marks while drying it until I shot all the clips and sat down to put it together.
Lesson learnt tho. Thanks for the feedback.

Underachieving Watch Collector root beer is the best gmt2 imo
Actually I think the BLNR is the best choice. The Rootbeer is definitely a gorgeous watch bit the novelty wears off and it just doesn't pair as well with blue and grey clothing which many of us wear either at work or at play. I have both, admittedly from China, and I grab my BLNR much more often.

Rolex literally adds insult to injury. The finishing here is absolutely atrocious, shocking at that price! (which keeps going up like 10% a year) and for the privilege of ‘getting on the list’ you have to brown nose their snooty, rude and stuck up AD’s by buying some hideous gold bling that nobody wants (packaging) and maybe, just maybe they’ll sell you a piece instead of flipping it out the backdoor on to the grey market. I’ve had better customer service buying a Seiko....

I certainly agree with what you said. But If you try one on with the Oyster and then the Jubilee it’s hard to hate the combo. That bracelet just feels so good you might decide to buy it with the Jubilee. At least that’s what happened to me.

You got to try it on, Once you try it on, you won’t go back. So comfortable, less scratch prone compared to Oyster PCL, and adds that pop that the GMT is perfect for. Oysters for subs. Jubilee for GMTs

The video could have been way better, if you would have previously cleaned the watch. Pretty disgusting to see so much dirt on it. Also, what is the deal with the half-ripped stickers full of dirt on the clasp? I took all the stickers of mine off and wash it at least once per week. Keep the good content up and the watches clean. Thanks for the feedback. I agree there’s some dust on it that I didn’t see until I completed all the clips and returned the watch.
Most of the watches on my channel aren’t mine, I borrow them only for the reviews. So I hope you can appreciate that I can’t remove the stickers from something that’s not mine. I rather clean them with a lot of caution so that i don’t end up removing the stickers.
Nice but the original GMT s and GMT Masters 2 are the better ones. This is new but not better in my opinion. The original design is a classic and much classier and elegant than this version even if the technical specs might be better on this piece. I guess to each their own, but I would be putting my money in a classic piece. That’s why most vintage pieces also cost more than one of these. This is more for “ nouveau riches” the original models are more understated elegance .
FYI, there are other watch brands besides Rolex..
