Dr. Terry Harman the Tabernacle Man
Video presentation on the holy vessels of the Tabernacle of Moses and the 5 Levitical Sacrifices.
Leviticus 4:31-21. Video presentation on the Tabernacle of Moses and the 5 Levitical Offerings or sacrifices. Discussion of the Hebrew word Korbon is often translated into English as "sacrifice." In English translations, the meaning of korban is missed. Korbon means, "to draw near to." The offeror is bringing a tangible representation of the heart-felt conviction of wanting to draw closer to the Lord.
And if the whole congregation of Israel shall err, the thing being hidden from the eyes of the assembly and do any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done and are guilty: when the sin wherein they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bullock for a sin-offering and bring it before the tent of meeting. And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD, and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD. And the anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bullock to the tent of meeting. And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil. And he shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar, which is before the LORD, that is in the tent of meeting, and all the remaining blood shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting. And all the fat thereof shall he take off from it, and make it smoke upon the altar. Thus, shall he do with the bullock; as he did with the bullock of the sin-offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven. And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp and burn it as he burned the first bullock; it is the sin-offering for the assembly.

Of God are places to connect with God. I pray that we will all come back to God and start seriously with God in our churches. For God said “MY HOUSE SHALL BE A HOUSE OF PRAYER “.

This is a great interpretation of what was written in the book of Leviticus. Offering sacrifices to God pleases Him and helps us get closer to Him. But Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. Praise be to God.

    • @TheTabernacleMan

No you do not have to kill an animal today. My videos are a visual teaching to explain the events of the Bible. The sacrificial system for Jews ended when the Temple was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70. Now Jews believe prayer represents the "sacrifice of the heart." For Christians they believe Jesus is the sacrifice once for all.

@@TheTabernacleMan I think what he means is..... if the Jews reject Jesus, then they need to keep slaughtering the animals because the old testament did not give an alternative to the animal sacrifice. So if they reject Christ and insist that He did not come, then they should keep on sacrificing and not "believing in prayer as sacrifice of the heart". Otherwise, they need to accept Jesus came and He replaced the sacrificial system.

Sacrificial offerings are no longer required today because Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice; the end all and be all of sacrifices. The only sacrifice that completely forgives sin.

    Hi Terry
Hope you are well. What a superb youtube channel you have set up with such helpful visual material on the tabernacle. I disciple a group of 5 lads in Scotland each week and am working through the bible. We are soon coming to the tabernacle and I am looking for great visual resources to use as part of a presentation with them. I was wondering if I might be able to purchase some HD Photos of the tabernacle furniture that you have? The models you have produced are fantastic, I have to say.
Many thank Terry and keep up the good work.
    Yours in Christ
