  • I STILL want to know who made this - if only so that I can show them how it should have been done!

    Well done!!
I'm still waiting to hear about the identity of the "tailor" whose work you repaired! It's nice to know that the young soldier will be well kitted out!
My dad served with the 82nd Airborne. Africa, Sicily, Normandy and Holland. He came back, or I wouldn't be here!
    "We will remember them."

I'm not going to 'out' them (the greater the truth, the greater the libel) but I'll say this - when every other tailor in town is too busy to help but this one tailor has no waiting list you should ask yourself why this is so...

Thank you for taking care of a young Soldier. I always enjoyed getting a new Soldier squared away when I was an NCO. I havent seen a button stick forever.

I'm seeing ever more of them, as an increasing number of soldiers are turning their backs on 'Staybrite' in favour of brass.
I can see why - you take more pride in your appearance if you've had to work at it.
Now if we could only convince the Army to return to the days of 'Dress for the activity you are currently engaged in' - Field uniform (particularly one so ugly and unflattering as CADPAT) is not suitable office attire!

Awesome work! Nice of you too look after the young lad like that. I hope he appreciates it. 👍
