Graduated with my B.S in Exercise Science recently and decided I wanted to go to physical therapy school so now I’m back at school finishing my pre-requisites. I’m upset that I’m not getting experience at the moment instead. Tbh I feel I have to go to PT school to open more doors for me like you mentioned but at the end of the day I want to treat rehab with training and not as clinical. Confused on what to do.

That’s a tough time period. I was in the same boat when I got rejected to all the PT schools my first time applying and had to go back and redo some prerequisite classes to get better grades. That said looking back on it it was actually a good experience to learn anatomy better, get some reps in working as a personal trainer and strength coach, save up a little bit of money, etc. There’s a lot you can do right now. Definitely spend enough time shadowing different people that you know if PT school is what you want to do or not. I would also explore what it’s like day to day in a different but similar role and see if you like it.
