Film description: It has been three years since the Clone Wars began. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker rescue Chancellor Palpatine from General Grievous, the commander of the droid armies, but Grievous escapes. Suspicions are raised within the Jedi Council concerning Chancellor Palpatine, with whom Anakin has formed a bond. Asked to spy on the chancellor, and full of bitterness toward the Jedi Council, Anakin embraces the Dark Side.

This was the moment where Anakin really started to fall towards the dark side. Fear or loss is a path to it and Anakin let that fear consume him.
The thing is that he knew padme would die if he didn't figure out a force heal. Anakin has always had the power to see things in his dream before it actually happens (kinda like a deja vu but a far more advanced version). Everything that occurs in his visions ends up happening irl similar to what happened with Shimi and his ability to see her suffering before she died
The visions are fake. They’re manipulated by Palpatine.

It's understandable why Anakin turns into the Dark Side of the Force. He lost his mother. He wouldn't lose someone he loves again. In this case, his wife Padme. But thanks to Palpatine's trick minds and his Jedi status and the Counsil trust fall, he fell into the Dark side.

Just like the love for his son, the discovery of his daughter and the need to save the former from the emperor were the things that pulled him back to the light and made him to stop palpatine, as Lucas Said: "It's like poetry", before Disney threw all that to the trash
One of best parts of the movie. Probably the best Star Wars movie ever.

When Anakin sighs & says it was only a dream, you can feel the conflict within him, he’s in distress fighting morality, he looks off into space, he’s scared of losing not only what he loves, but himself too

What Anakin skywalker saw was his future. He should've listened to Obi-Wan that jedi must not have any attachments it's forbidden for jedi. Good soldiers follow orders
But you have to remember Obi Wan himself loved Satine despite the order's strict rules and regulations

That wasn’t really the problem though. His problem was that he couldn’t let go.
His attachment is what brought him back but the difference was that here, he didn’t want to live without his wife while in ROTJ, he was willing to let himself die for the people he cared about.
Anakin you need obi wand help he can support you and help you with Padme he’s like a brother to you and we need family to help and support us it’s important
If he had just remained his old good, compassionate, loving self, he could have saved her. Everything would have been fine.

What I can't fathom is how Anakin was able to sneak trysts in Padme's appartment at nights without the other Jedi noticing he was missing from the Temple?
I suspect that Obi Wan knew where Anakin was really going and chose to cover for them in case anyone asked. He did know that Anakin was at Padme’s in a later scene because he stopped by and told Padme “He’s been under a lot of stress.”

Say what you want about the acting, but the concept of anakin and padmes secret marriage, the love and the stress that came with it was strong and served it’s purpose

People always talk about what if Qui-Gon had trained Anakin, I get it, but if Anakin had taken Padme’s advice and they’d gone straight to Obi-Wan right then, things might’ve turned out ok.

Wow, did I hear her say ‘Anakin help me!?’ Because if that’s the case, there are theories that Anakin actually quietly moaned ‘Padmé help me!” During his transformation into Darth Vader right as they were putting the mask on him. I remember watching the end of ROTS, with my brother, and he asked my grandfather, who was likely in more pain, Anakin or Padmé and Papa said they were probably equally in pain, getting burnt and giving birth are two of the most painful things, plus, both Anakin and Padmé were very brokenhearted at the time too. It would make sense that they would both yearn for each other and cry for the other person when they were both in such pain.
If only, somehow (insert your favourite theory for how, here) Ani could have had some other rope to grab onto so he didn't fall, then he, Padme, and the twins could have lived happily ever after back with her family, and Uncle Obi-wan could have showed up to help teach the twins how to use the Force behind the Council's back. ;)

This is the one scene where I agree with the people who complain about the dialogue.
For people saying "Anakin should have gone to Obi-Won. Everything would have been fine than." Uh, hello? You forgot about his mother? The last time he went to the Jedi and listened to their "wisdom", she was left to be tortured for weeks and months at the hands of the Tuskan raiders. Obviously the Jedis are not infallible and more often than not, even wrong.

Understand the moment his mother died
Anakin just killed all the tusken raiders out of vengeance for his mother’s death. But rather than return to the Larrs’s home with very little remorse, he feels terrible for what he did and knows that Jedi don’t seek revenge. He runs and hides in a random cave. Since Yoda felt that disturbance, who else was sensing it none other than Darth Sidious. A day goes by without any word from Anakin. Padme receives Obi Wan’s message and goes to Geonosis to help him by herself. Meanwhile, Sidious arrives on Tatooine and eventually finds Anakin sobbing in a cave. At first, Anakin ignites his lightsaber in fear. But Sidious uses his manipulative skills as always to convince Anakin to join him. He tells him about Darth Plagueis, and he said If Anakin helps him, he will tell Dooku to let Obi Wan and Padme live. The geonosis battle unfolds as usual without Anakin there. Dooku escapes, the clones and Jedi defeat the droid army, and Padme and Obi Wan survive. Later, he asks her why Anakin wasn’t with her. She says that he left to go save his mother and never returned. Meanwhile, Anakin, Sidious and Dooku unite on Corusant. They fill in Anakin on their master plan and start waiting to execute it. 6 months pass rather than 3 years. The Jedi have devoted themselves to looking for Anakin. Anakin has been sending them riddle messages so they can find out that the clones are a trap. Eventually, yoda and Obi Wan find both Sidious and Anakin. The final battles of episode 3 happen right there, except Anakin has his Darth Vader suit on already. The battles happen how they did in episode 3. Just before the Jedi were about to solve the clones mystery, Chancellor Palpatine, watching them, immediately activates order 66. Most Jedi were killed but a few more survived than the amount that did in the og timeline. And all the events of the saga happened 3 years prior to how it did originally.
