- I was able to scrape together a few bucks for my final purchase of 2020. It's been on my radar for a few months and was torn between the 41 and 43mm. The faster beat rate of the 43mm finally sold me. 28,800 BPH is a what I prefer, with the shorter power reserve not being a big deal in the long run.

the moment you brought the knife to cut the vignette my heart skipped a beat
I've just ordered the blue.cant wait😁Thankyou for your video.
I stumbled on your video and I'm happy I did. I didn't even know who Joma's shop was but the 43mm was less expensive on their site verses Prestige.
Great watch but IMO not talked about much, what a sleeper. Great choice 🔥
Just ordered this one with black leather strap.
is it L3.777.4.58.6? i would like to buy the same one , i like this watch so much
43 is good size for your big wrist!
Is it antimagnetic? Should I be careful with magnets?
Quartz movements are generally not a worry around magnets.
I need help, does the black dial come with applied markers? I know the blue one does, just not sure of the black one
My 43mm Conquest has applied markers.
@@TheBigWrist thank you for your reply. I'm assuming that your watch does not have lume then?
@@junwoojang2941 Lume is pretty good. Better than expected, but not as good as a Seiko dive watch.
@@TheBigWrist I see. Are the numerals applied as well? Because they don't seem to reflect the lights nor seem metallic as much as the blue conquest does.
@@junwoojang2941 Numerals are applied, but high polished, no lume. Kind of a nice mix, I like it.
Good looking piece from my favourite brand, but I'm not going to purchase it, because it looks very familiar with my Citizen eco drive watch Aw1430-86a,100 water resistant, excellent accurate as +8sec/ month.
when you took the "thing" off your finger my anxiety was so happy.
I think it was packing material.
@@TheBigWrist thank you very much for the review, was just what I was looking for I just ordered a 41mm as I have a somewhat girly 6.5" wrist, I can't wait to get it! :)
@@tomnewmanrotta All three sizes are excellent, so glad they offer such a selection. More companies should follow their lead!
Can I out an oyster bracelet on this? And if so what’s a good quality oyster bracelet
I have looked for a bracelet with a taper and there does not appear to be one available with fitted end links. Straight end links are out there but I am not interested those. The 22mm opening means many NATOs and leather straps are availible.
@@TheBigWrist thanks for your comment. I would be getting the. 39mm version of this watch with the 20mm bracelet. You think a 20mm oyster bracelet from eBay would fit?
@@mikearkous8379 I've had terrible luck with watch bracelets on eBay. I have a bag of ill fitting trash for all my effort of trying to find a Tudor bracelet for my BB 41. I ended up buying an actual Tudor bracelet finally. All the so called aftermarket bracelets were garbage. I would avoid.
@@TheBigWrist thank you. Ugh this a hard decision. Thanks again!
Microtech?
It’s a lot of watch for your dollars, however I believe you will find it extremely huge, looking on your current collection. I had the 41 mm version which has a lightly slimmer bracelet (21 vs 23) yet the lack of the slightest taper made it not too comfortable to wear. However should you have a less of a fluctuating wrist size you may love it.
That was my concern also, but after a week on the wrist (as of today) I am very happy with it.
BS. 43mm is an excellent size, especially on a bracelet.
I bought the 39mm Hydroconquest quartz. It is 2mm thinner than the auto. Looks nice on my 7.25" wrist.
Would oyster bracelet fit on this?
I have three extras, used for rolex, tissot and tudor, none of the end links match up.
Are the 6 and 12 o'clock markers applied or printed on? Because I'm getting confused the white dial has applied markers while this looks printed on...
Black dial is printed. I saw it in real life in a shop yesterday, the silver one was there too which has applied markers. Hope this helps!
@@AA-fn9xz I severely hate that they did that with the black dial. Like whyyyy
@@theannouncer5538 legibility. Polished applied numerals against a black dial would be almost impossible to read a lot of the time. printed numerals get a lot of hate but sometimes they just work better.
The Reviewer here said the numerals are applied on the black dial, not printed. You need to skip back a few comments.
Is it keeping good time?
After a week on wrist about +3 seconds per day. Better on wrist than in the watch box.
@@TheBigWrist Pretty good.
Thanks for the review.. nice watch but this 43mm version would be too big for me !
I would have gladly bought the 41mm if they offered it with a 28,800 movement. But only the 43mm has it.
How's it's going ?)
I am considering buying a Longines great brand full of history and tradition, the Conquest is sober but very impressive masculine design is not a Christmas tree it is not flashy but it is classic, this 43mm model you wear very well on your wrist, I have a I doubt which one to choose from two options 39mm or 41mm I have a 7 and a quarter wrist, I suppose the precision is very good the automatic mechanical movement is based on ETA but they are modified especially for some of its pieces, surely you are fascinated is one very good piece.
It wears big, get the 39mm.
I dont understand the price. In my country is approximately 1370 usd for retail.
Full retail here without tax is $1250 USD, with tax (depends on where you buy it) total would be $1450 USD. Grey market dealer (like JOMASHOP) generally are cheaper than authorized dealers. They don't make the same profit as an AD and my warranty is from JOMA, not Longines. It's a fair trade in my opinion.
Don’t ever pay MSRP for watches for microbrand watches. They’re massively overpriced.
How the watch serving you these days?
Accurate and comfortable!
@@TheBigWrist good to know, in your video you expressed your view of the Tissot Gentleman, and that you eventually moved it on. Please elaborate on the reasons for moving this piece on, and how would you compare it to the Longines Conquest etc?
@@grapevinelover1 The tissot had an OK bracelet and clasp and was just another 40mm watch IMO. The Longines has a better bracelet and clasp and better looking dial. It just works better for me. The Longines cost 50% more but I think it's worth it.
@@TheBigWrist I’m considering one of the two, but if the quality (fit and finish) is noticeably different…that could be the decision. Did the Gentleman wear large (lug to lug) on the wrist? How different was the lume between them? Last but not least, how different were they mechanically…considering different movements etc?
@@grapevinelover1 The Longines has better fit and finish. The 43mm (mine) has a 28,800 movement with a better sweep and has better lume. The Tissot did not wear larger than 40mm, has a great power reserve and is a good deal at around $400-500. At retail I think they are over priced.
The watch is not worth its price. Printed hour marks on this price range ? Cheap Casio's have applied hour markers and Longines gives a printed dial?
Blue version has applied ones, but no lume on the hands
Not exactly great packaging, ding on corner of box.
