- Water stays in a swirling beaker because forces of inertia pull it away from the center of rotation and toward the bottom of the beaker. We experience a similar effect on a merry-go-round or in a car when it makes a turn. This is a fun demo to try yourself at home. Just do it outside or your parents will hate me!

I don't think it's the teachers who don't wanna be teachers anymore. It's the administration boards for these education systems that discourage the teachers enthusiasm. Couple that with a financial responsibility teachers are forced to take over, and low pay, and no control of the curriculum.
Teachers have always had to do extra work to get their own curriculum taught. Now they are allowed to if they teach more lies is the problem...in the USA anyway. Most don't even get hired to teach what they went to school for specifically.
I get needing to survive but if you're in it for the money and can't change your attitude for the students then you don't have passion.
I have had plenty of jobs I hated that took a lot of work (I'd love teaching, I didn't love these jobs...) and yet at minimum wage having to live at home and go to school...and take public trans...I STILL showed up to wotk with a smile on my face and ready to do work I could be proud of. Always leave a place better than you found it. That should be the only way you make work about you.
If you don't do that because of pay then you don't actually care...
I have family that teaches in public schools. Most teachers don't bother making lesson plans, or following IEPs etc. Too many are genuinely abusive and awful people (the job attracts people with NPD and HPD that want control over their students).
My child was abused in PRESCHOOL. Even the staff all said how sweet and nice my son was, he was the kindest of the group and would soothe other kids....well we turned a blind eye but he was being tied to a chair, many bruises and cuts and things we will never shave answers to, he regressed and almost certainly was SA. Either by staff and/or a masseuse they hired out without parental permissions.
Most good teachers are fighting against the systemic toxicity. From CRT to gender bender rules, and just simply bad curriculum like you said. They don't even teach math and reading appropriately most times. History is a total mess. Science is "science". The teachers bring politics and personal opinion in the craziest ways. It's just not worth it.
I home-school now and many teachers that care have switched to helping home-school communities or tutoring etc. Plenty of opportunities if you're good at what you do.

Centrifugal force isn't a real force. Definitely. A bit much but I'll take it. Lol 😆 I had a physics teacher that let us all have nicknames and do Fear Factor at the end of the year for extra points. Her and I didn't get a long, we misunderstood one another and she picked on me sometimes...but I think in the end she realized I wasn't who she thought I was. I was undiagnosed ASD and I had trouble in her classes VERY social and sensory environment. With Fear factor points I got my grade up to a B from a D. 😂 Shows how much grades matter. But she was cool to do that. It's just so different today just 1-2 generations later. 😢

A good teacher is really a performer.. like an actor. Imagine doing this 3, 4 times a day for different classes, and then wake up tomorrow with a whole new act in order to teach something else.
No truer words have ever been written.
For real, I’ll always remember one of my business school Teachers Mr. Scheidung. Bro was a lost Show Master, he had a new power point presentation for every class (which is not really common in Germany) and he had the voice, jokes and charisma like a late night show master, coolest teacher I’ve ever had
@@CuzzinCoo that's an interesting insight to teaching.
And a great storyteller as well. The one teacher I remember most and was very fond of (sadly he's passed away), was my history teacher. He made it so fun and lighthearted that you couldn't help but learn.
@CuzzinCoo this is at a university level where instructors have liberty to teach curriculum as they see fit. Unfortunately at the K-12 level, curriculum has been forced to be a cookie cut one size fits all that follows packets.
This is a prime example of a great teacher or professor making a class interesting to keep kids wanting to learn and not get BORED... love teachers like this. Dramatic / Extremely informative / keep teaching like this and everyone will give their undivided attention and pass their classes.
Teachers are never paid enough to care

She makes me want to go to school again! We NEED teachers like her so badly. They make school interesting.
She was the kind of teacher that every students wanted
Yo! This lady is a perfect example of an awesome teacher. She obviously cares and she's having fun while doing it. Good for you lady!

“Centripetal force” is the first thing that can mind when I saw this.
I didn’t know if it was called that for sure that is just what I thought it was called.
It should be "centrifugal".... Or better: inertial
Maybe because... that's what it is ?
i’ve always wondered what this was called. now i finally know. i could never understand why things wouldn’t move backwards in my car whenever it was moving. i could drop a ball from the inside while the car was moving and it just fell down, but if i dropped it the same way but outside the window, it would go flying backwards.
