I just took one back, it was a West Village Elite steel bracelet watch. I bought it new from Saks Off Fifth, and in less than 96 hours: first the screws to one of the links connected to the clasp fell off; then when I was showing my wife this, the screw of the link that connected it to the dial fell off too, right in front of me; maybe it was an anomaly; but if this would've happened while riding my bike through the city it could have been really damaged, so I returned it right away; it was upsetting, I really liked the look of the watch, plus what paid for it was way below retail.

I have the Gevril wall street. No issues whatsoever. It uses a modified ETA 2824/2 and is very accurate. I do wish they would bring out something original. There are so many watches out there i am not surprised some watches look like some other watches. Good video.

I have a Casio WVQ-500 that never charged above the mid level even when new. After 14 years of use the battery was degrading even further and would not get above low. I suspect it was a bad battery from the start and it still operated adequately for those 14 years. I replaced the battery using plastic tweezers (to avoid shorting it) and did a reset with metal tweezers and now the new battery charges to full which the old battery never did. After changing but before doing the reset the watch did not operate properly, so the reset was required. High temperatures degrade these batteries so don't allow the watch to get hot for best battery life.

Big FAIL! What's big? 8-1/2 inches? 9 inches? What I wanted to know is what G-Shock will fit my wrist. I have yet to buy a wrist watch where I did not have to order an expensive, custom-made strap before being able to wear them. FAIL, FAIL, FAIL. Big FAIL.

Sorry but this should be titled “How not to clean a Rolex” Just like a car you should rinse it with water to remove the grit and gunk, brushing it dry just causes more swirls and scratches. Also never use cape cod on brushed surfaces, it’s an abrasive metal polish that will eventually turn the brushed surface into a polished one.

I own this watch and I’ve owned a Rolex Daytona. And yes, the Rolex is better as far as the movement having a better finish, more durable but is the Rolex 14k more better than the prx chrono? Hell no. I’ll take the prx chrono pound for pound against any other chrono out there. You just can’t beat the price for what you’re getting. Almost seems like you’re robbing the salesperson when buying it. I got it on the gray market for 1250 and couldn’t be happier.

Really appreciate your focus on us guys with larger wrists, Jim. I cannot tell you the many times I have gotten the cold shoulder from dealers unwilling or unable to work with me on a new or pre-owned watch. If I could make a suggestion for a future video, maybe you could do one that identifies which brands/dealers cater to larger wrists. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
