That's the most ridiculous call I've ever heard from Dave... Potentially selling and upgrading AWB and bringing in Kim is all that needs to be done this summer for the defence. Too much needs to be done in keeper, midfield and striker

I don't think it is up to Ten Hag if Lindelof wants to Leave and play as starter in another top European team. You would be surprised to know that many top Italy teams are interested in him.
If we sign Kim min Jae, Varane becomes backup at right centre back, and I think Shaw becomes backup to Martinez. Maguire & Lindelof become surplus, and get sold.

It might sound good but it is not what we need and it wouldn't work as well as playing FM.
Being a squad player at Manchester Unted is not the best development path for many of these youngsters. Most people can't cope with the attention and pressure of playing for united, Zaha and Deepay are decent players but struggled at united. We had to wait for 2.5 seasons for Amad to show his promise.
We should sell Amad, we would be better off using those funds on a position we really need depth in, #10 is covered.
I think Dave it's more of a dream transfer window especially when you mentioned Davies and Zeno

Davies does seem a bit FIFA, but there was a time when saying players like him could come to United wasn’t crazy
I really like a lot of these transfers, especially Guler - he's my fave youngster in the world rn (even over Garnacho). Honestly the biggest fantasy of this video isn't even Davies, it's the assumption that UTD are ablet o buy this many players without taking 6 weeks to get a deal done for 1.
Aaron has improved drastically and will only get better on the ball with training which he is getting.
Sorry but United fans have low standards now. He doesn't have a high ceiling of talent he won't improve much beyond this level. It's simple really. He isn't getting into the other top 4-6 teams as rb is he so why should he get in ours. Makes 0 sense

@@sabiotiopablo5787 he's a good defensive right back but he's not a good overall right back taking into account other parts of the game. He's average at best overall. We have grown to have low standards now at united due to the lack of success. The bar has been set low now. His overall play is still lacking. His an inconsistent passer, can't shoot, doesn't overlap and can't cross well. So he lacks alot of things a TOP right back should have. This is MODERN day football it's not the 90s anymore where you could just get away with defending and that's it. You have to contribute going foward too. Both dalot and awb lack it going foward they are very poor and definitely below average compared to other top right backs. Awb does well Vs fast wingers but how often do we play against the likes of mpabbe? In other games for eg at home we generally will play teams lower in the table therefore we will generally be on the attack and that's where awb is lacking. We don't need to keep a defensive right back just for mpabbe or Vini jnr. We should be buying a right back who can defend to a decent level and contribute much more in attack. It would bring a different dimension to the team.
@@higurk thats the whole point. Its an asset. First of all, youre exaggerating awb's offensive limitations. Second, im fine with having an offensive rb to destroy lesser teams. But selling him is idiotic considering how useful he can be

Enjoyed the watch, interesting picks for sure very much new young talents coming through, I think the only thing I was slightly surprised by was keeping Eriksen as an 8 and not having him become a back up to Bruno as I don’t think he performs the role very well personally but overall think it was good and insightful
Prioritize a striker, number 6, gk then rb If there’s extra cash. The only person I wouldn’t sell is AWB but everyone else can go. I always felt he could be a number 6 since his ball winning is so good.
His passing and vision is unfortunatly not nearly good enough to be a 6 at this level. Even if he is supposed to be a "destroyer"
Love to hear about new young talent with release clauses. Would love us to sign at least one prospect from the many you have listed but it needs to be players Ten Hag would genuinely use and develop himself.

DeBast is interesting. Your spot on with Davies. Güler was a great shout. You got a bullseyes with Hojlund. Everyone else is debatable. I would suggest a multi-positional LCB. An expierenced RW. And champion in the midfield. Great video!
The players moving out look good. I wonder about keeping one or two (AWB or Fred?). Getting youth in would be great. An experienced, proven striker, in addition two younger ones could be good. Fun vid, especially with the younger picks.

Great video, shows the kind of young talents that United haven't been going for over the last 10 years or so. I'm sure other clubs will be after them too but I hope we can sign a couple of these.
There is always the United tax though that usually doubles the cost of anyone we're interested in!
We'll end up getting some of these players in a couple of years when they're worth 70-80mil each
I really hope we can move towards this approach where we take a punt on some talented young players to mix in with the established quality we have in the squad

Love the youth squad, we are not going to win anything anytime soon but if we invest on this squad l would be very happy honestly. My only worry is that midfield, we need class players unfortunately in there. players like Barella alongside Savic. I don’t personally want mount, rice or Kane for that price tag and wages, great players tho. It’s time for the future
It’s a great looking list but even for a competently run club that is a lot of business to get done! Throw in the chaos of the takeover and it does seem more dream than possibility, also quite a few players that you would want us to be looking at yet the type of player we never seem to go for

If we had a competent football operation at boardroom level, these are the type of moves we could make. Unfortunately we aren't there yet but who knows if we get new owners in by early July. Maybe we can salvage a good window.

Good show Dave. Not sure I can fully agree though because as good as the future may look with your selections the United fan base wants some immediate results so our striker choice needs to be GUARANTEED to deliver 30 goals per year for me.
I like it. Both of those strikers seem like win later instead of win now signings, and I can't see bringing in a new starting GK AND keeping De Gea but that would be a good window.

The keeper at Anderlecht, Bart Verbruggen, is also apparently good with his feet and a good shotstopper also. I think he might be a better buy than Raya, purely from a long-term perspective. He also might be more open to playing the role of understudy to Costa.

Goes to show two things:
1. There's lots of potential options especially to convert to a younger squad on lower wages and in the vein of what Ten Hag wants/needs.
2. Most of Utd need overhauling...
And I guess both points lead to the 2nd video follow up which is: "How short will ManU fall from all these signings?"
Which are the priority signings based on that projection then:
1. Goalie
2. Central Striker
3. ?
andre and enzo le fee (idk his name) were a GREAT shout and united irl should go for them. but just like what i read players like these really need game time and chances to develop themselves andd thats why brighton thrive with a lot of "unknown players" because they gave a lot of time for young talented players. but seeing how united history recently, they wont get that and like straight into the squad. they might even get loaned even if they were bought. but hopefully united do look for them. andd for me some of the current squad could stay because at the time they were given chances under erik they were great. the likes of victor, fred and awb could fill the squad player role.
Isn't there a HOMEGROWN player factor that you are overlooking? Won't that complicate the transfer window and the main reason we are being linked to Mount and Pickford?
I could see Edson Alvarez coming in as the Casemiro backup, especially with Dortmund sniffing around him, could steal him last minute like we did with Malacia
Love the shouts for Gift Orban and Milenkovic Savic and the general theme of youngsters. Do think you want a proven no9 and you have some of the prices wrong. As well as just a general too high a squad churn.
For me:
Sell/Release: De Gea, Henderson, Butland, Bishop, Maguire, Tuanzebe, Jones, Mengi, Williams, McTominay, Sabitzer, Van de Beek, Elanga, Martial, Weghorst, Bailly, Telles, Bernard.
Loan out: Pellestri, Iqbal, Hannbibal, Shoretire, A Fernandez, Laird depending on AWB.
Question mark: Aaron Wan Bissaka. Maybe needed for FFP if get a good bid and Laird has developed well.
Squad players: Heaton, Kovar, Laird/Wan Bissaka, Lindelof, Malacia, Fred, Mainoo, Diallo, Eriksen, Garnacho. New no6 (Andre/Lavia/other talents around 20 mil), new second striker (Gift Orban indeed), new cb (unless better then Varane like Min Jae then becomes core and indeed would prefer him).
Core: Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casimero, Bruno, Anthony, Rashford, Sancho. New GK (Costa), New striker (Kane), new no8 (Milenkovic Savic).
Any youngsters I missed here if contract running out sell if deemed not good enough, otherwise extend and loan out or u21 depending what staff think better for their development.
Also get a set piece coach as they under performed there this season.
Nice watch!! If only it was that easy. I agree with most signings except Alphonso Davies, I would keep Shaw and Malacia as the LB's, then spend the £70million on Caicedo, he's a beast!!! along with Casemiro and Bruno would improve United a lot.
Of the 22 players you've listed, how many qualify as home grown?
Looks like only Rashford, Garnacho, and Sancho would - correct me if I'm wrong.
As you need 8 for the EPL, in a squad of 25, you'll need to hold on to/sign more home grown players; e.g. keep McTom, AWB, Maguire. Or, sign someone like Harry Kane (for the "world class" forward)
I think Gift is better off following the same path that Jonathon David took from Gent, rather than going to sit on Utds bench (neither Rasmund or Gift would really want to be the bench guy, considering how much football they are currently getting).
Would De Gea be staying if Raya was brought in too?
I love the idea of the players you are going for ... One question though .. what happens to the homegrown quota of 8 players in this spectrum ... does it meet the criteria ?
Homegrown players don't need to be registered and since they're academy players we can keep them. Notice pellistri and mainoo have not been touched
@@eugeneeugene3704 you didn't get the question. There's a criteria that minimum 8 out of the 25 registered (more than 21 yrs old) players must be homegrown.
For instance Rashford, Maguire, Shaw, Sancho, etc would fall under this category

My picks would be Jurrien Timber, Marc Guehi and or BellaKochap. One of them is a must, two would be good to have enough for rotation. Frimpong as a right back. Isn't Debast a center back btw? Romeo Lavia and Gabri Veiga for midfield. Hojlund as a striker for me for sure, I think he is fantastic, and I would risk with Gift Orban as a rotation/backup option.
But I haven't take finances into account, just aimed for the young, talented players that I think would be a great additions to United. Also, I am open to giving a chance to Greenweood, depending on the talks with his girlfriend and internal investigation.
BTW I love Davies, but I am unsure if he would be even interested, and would Bayern sell him? Doubt it. But I love it. Btw good call on La Fee, interesting player lot of

I think EtH rates both AWB and Pellestri. I don’t think either of those lads are going this window. But I do really like the idea of bringing in youth. In addition to a few experienced guys.
I think the only thing you’re forgetting in this video is the Manchester United tax. United have since SAF left been held over the fire on transfer fees because other clubs know they can get it out of us. So I’d add at least 5-10m for each of those signings unless it’s a clause buyout.

ST senior: Kolo Muani (can't see Kane having the balls to force an exit from Spurs)

This is all great, but we need continuity rn. We can't just get young players only, we also need experience.
We need to do a Real Madrid where we don't just shift off players, but we ease them out of the squad as we ease some in.
The thing I'd like to know is why does it seem to take us ages to complete deals? Our rivals seem to be linked with a player and buy them within a week. We seem to dally then lose out.

I'd bring in Zaniolo as well as more of an attack minded midfielder, he has a 30mil Euro release clause at Galatasaray and Domonik Szobozlai for about 45mil

Overall thanks for your video. I like bringing in young players strategy, but it seems impossible knowing how much United can rebuild the squad.
I agree with most of the outs, id keep Pellistri or loan him. The ins, however, are a bit strange. Save the 70m for Davies and 20m for Orban and put it towards Kane. We need a more experienced midfielder and it looks like being Mount. Id rather give Amad a go if we're looking at a young 10/winger. Enjoyed the video though 👍
If they replace their keeper they need to move De Gea on you cannot have your backup keeper as one of the leagues highest paid players that's ridiculous

Problem is selling the players on huge contracts, Maguire, Wan Bissaka, Fred, all on 100-200k per week. 20 max I think for McTominay and Awb
I love Gift... wish we could get him before he becomes 100m. We would need an experienced striker to lead the line though, can't have two raw kids chasing the league and champions league

I agree with your view Dave but I guess these transfers will obviously be spread over a multiple transfer windows. At the moment, I think we need to think about the now instead of the future. In my opinion, we need to get a fullback who can play on the both the flanks. Frimpong would be my choice, get him for around 30m pounds. Kim in and the goat Maguire out. I agree with Andre, that would be an amazing business. I would make sabitzer deal permanent, could play as second fiddle to Bruno or drop bruno to eriksen's role. Would sell one of the McFred, I would prefer to have Fred. And finally signing two strikers is a must. Kane and hojlund, I don't care if we break the bank. For me, this would be my first transfer window. If we could get this done and hopefully we perform well, stay in all the comps and in the top 3 of PL, then the other young players could be easily tempted with our project as well as ETH, who is amazing at developing the youngsters.
