we ideally need 2 cbs, inacio or another left cb, and one of diomande or antonio silva as direct understudies/replacements for varane, both in terms of quality and profile, varanes profile is so underlooked since he’s the only defender we have who is capable of organizing the backline and being able to sweep up in defense, the only player in this list that can do that is silva, diomande can too
Should have added Declan rice , todibo , kept de gea and tried for James ward prowse as he scores and can win in ugly ways and has a mean free kick

The comparison graphs might not give us a clear answer because the stats can depend a lot on things like the team's style and how involved a player is in the game. For a fair comparison, both players should really be in teams that play the same way. And, beyond the numbers, we should also think about their personality and whether they're winners which I believe is the most important thing.
We need young players now for the future silva and inacio in January to qualify for top 4
Unrealistic that we get any of these 2 in January however I do think we should go for Todibo and then 1 of these 2 in the summer

One of the defenders you did not mention, which I want United to look at is Branthwaite at Everton. Boy is classy. Ya people will say, English players are overrated, well this one isn't. Watch him go to a big club soon.
Honestly, I will take any of them over what we have. Our real problem in defense, is lack of aggression and physicality.

We don't necessarily need the best one on the list just the more suited one on the list also the cost-effective option is who we'll get in the end.

Interesting comparisons but very different leagues.
Varane has won 4 CL and this guy says they are better than. Not sure if I should laugh or cry. If Varane is fit he is world class.

Two CB and one striker are needed if possible during January transfer window.
Tapsoba I think will be better because he is playing in German league which I think is also strong league compared to the remaining three players.
tapsoba isn’t a good defender, great on the ball and in possession but we need elite defenders who are good on the ball too

Either Todibo or Diomande makes most sense IMO. Former will cost more than latter, but is probably also slightly more mature and experienced.

Honestly bro I'm bringing at least 2. 2 for sure will be replacing lindelof and Maguire. Too bad tuanzebe couldn't stay fit.
I think the comparison are good with the starters but a one should be done with the 2nd string, how do the recruits stack up with a lindelof and Maguire, if stack up better which I think they will then a couple guys need to pack their bags
Inacio and Diamonde just cos they already have that team chemistry
Will we have the money to buy? Or will we lose again to other teams in the league? Liverpool have snapped up a few (Gakpo, Nunez. ….) that have been scouted by United and they are on the upward trend again this season. For similar aged young players ie below 21 years old how come we dont have anyone good enough from the academy that we have to buy from outside? We do not give them enough game time and exposure to shine in the senior team as in the case of Garner that was sold to Everton.
Silva would be the best option on the right cb and have Martinez as well to they both would be great centre backs together

The only reason we'd go into market would be Shaw season long injury otherwise get another CF. Amad return and mainoo different level plus wamibiska missed.
The emphasis nowadays is on the aesthetics - pass accuracy, completion etc - not on the real traits needed for positions.
I hope we do not end up with another Onana situation - a defender that can pass, but can't defend.

I would like to see ten hag use what he has to attain the position we should attain and imo, since we were 3rd, we shouldnt have declined. We must be 3rd again or at least win a cup or else it would be failure and i wouldnt trust eth with new signings until he gets it right with what he has.
For me, Inacio and Tolibo - solely based on the statistic given. Two center back is better than acquiring only one as Varane is not reliable. But United needs to be cautious as these players do not play in the premier league. Best is to search for a premier league defender in addition of those two.
Inacio is left footed so he would be a rotation option or even replacement for Martinez in case his injury problems cause long-term issues.

We definitely need 1 new cb this January. Our defence is shaking every game. Sell Maguire, Donny & Sancho and we'll be able to get 1 new cb.
We need a rcb so Inacio out for now (i think he's kind of slim too). We need an experienced one so those 2 19 y.o boys are out (attention, pressure from Utd) even though i think Silva has the most potential. That leaves us with Tapsoba & Todibo. Tbh i want a cb like Araujo or Saliba at that position. I'm dreaming with Utd scouting, right 😂
I think i want Utd to get Tapsoba in Jan more..for now. Todibo is 25 but he's behind Upamecano, Konate, Saliba in France pecking order. Ofc different countries, style of play..many factors. Just my opinion

Honestly there is no real winner here...All of them are good, still have room to grow too, but thats whats makes it difficult to me. In an ideal world though, that is if maguire and evans left, i want 2 of them, personally i think i prefer the Portuguese guys, to me they are gonna be Portugal's partnering CBs for next 2 world cups. If we can only sign 1 then maybe, one of the right sided guys there whoever it is.

I think we need at least two new CB's. Evans will be gone next summer while Varabe is too injury prone & gradually needs replacing anyway while I'll sell both Maguire & Lindelof. I'd sign Inacio to compete with Martinez as the LCB & bring in either Silva or Todibo to replace Varane as our RCB. We need to bring down oir average age of our squad
