These braces videos have been such a lifesaver. It's not common that a lot of youtubers upload life hacks specifically for braces, so it makes me sooo happy to see someone who finally understands! I have them for almost 3 weeks now and I can say that it didn't hurt that much.It hurts only in the first night after putting them on

I just suck cold water from my thermos and hold it so my braces arent touching my cheeks and that kinda help relive pain in the teeth and cheeks for sometime after you swallow the water

Do clear braces feel different then traditional
I feel like no doctor likes to admits that it's best to have your wisdom teeth removed BEFORE getting braces... I know so many people whose teeth shifted after having braces bc their wisdom teeth weren't removed first.
mine told me upfront that it was best to have them removed.

People that have spacers after they get braces is because the either have to get a expander or they have to get a permanent retainer I have to get a expander so I still have spacers

Emma, I think you are the first person I've heard that said, "I love braces" :) For me, I don't really like them but I don't hate them either. I think the reason why I might not like them is because I've had mine for almost 6 years now! So yeah, sick of 'em already, lol. But anyways, besides that, I am super thankful to be able to be able to have this whole dental treatment - tooth extractions, braces, jaw surgery and soon to have a dental implant. So thankful because at the end of the day my smile is going to be GREAT :D Oh, and one thing I find interesting to know is that you still have your wisdom teeth, because I had mine taken off before I got braces put in. I guess everyone dental treatment are different... cool channel btw :) :)

When you get your braces tightened does it hurt i get them in 3 weeks.

two days. I've had them for two days. I regret it so much. I have spacers with braces and extractions.
I had spacers last month. They put more spacers when they put on the brackets. I dont have the wire on yet nor the metal bands but I had to try the metal bands to measure and they kind of hurt but they are not as painful as spacers.
They say that they are taking out the spacers and putting back the metal bands and wire when the extractions heal.

The scariest thing for me was probably the lead up to getting my braces put on because I didn't know what to expect, but when I actually got to the orthodontist it was really reassuring and I felt a lot better 😊 and omg I feel u my spacers hurt so much 😰 Good luck with your braces x
Kemyjah Scott I got my braces 2 days ago, and they do not hurt nearly as bad as spacers. I had to wear spacers for 2 weeks and then I got my braces. My braces only hurt when I eat other than that I'm fine.
