@@bradporter8110 When you wear your braces your lips will look a little bit more plump, and when you get them out, thay look will go away- you are just coming back to your regular lip size. It was just shock for me because I have worn them since forever.

I have braces, had them for close to a year now. My friends dont have them and they dont understand the PAIN of getting them tightened, getting powerchains to close in gaps and holes, the holes created form the 4 permanent tooth they removed from my mouth...... I honestly never use wax, i did for alot of time in the first week, however i just somehow kept swallowing then and got really bad coughs and southroat for over a month,,, Trust me, your inner mouth will get stronger and resistance torwards the sharp brackets. Eating for me first sucked, since i live in Asia we eat rice basically EVERYDAY, in school i would worry after lunch so much, but having braces taught me to be the master of eating, how to not bite with your front tooth or else food gets stuck everywhere, eating without getting a SINGGGLLEEEE rice anywhere near your front teeth.... THe struggle was real but i am extremely proud of that skillllll, no one understands but i hope some of u guys do ;)

It's my third day but still my teeth don't hurt (wish it'll stay that way)but I also have the same situation with eating rice, bread, noodles and even with potatoes. I've never been conscious with my teeth before (even having a crooked set of them) compared to now that I have my braces on.

Ive had them for a year and its rly not that serious I eat almost everything except the few first days after getting them tighten p.s ive only broken 2 brackets till this day

I had braces on for 2 years and just got them off yesterday. I got warned by my friends (they've all had braces) that my teeth will look bigger. Literally, when I got home I had a 10 minute meltdown in my bed because I thought they were so big, when everyone else was saying that they are normal size 😂😭

I got my braces off today and I literally can relate to all of these things... my teeth felt really slick and weird, but then it stopped and I got used to it really fast, but my mouth did feel a bit empty. It did NOT hurt, there was just a lot of pressure when they were popping the brackets off. Also, I had a couple of little noticeable marks on my teeth, like stains or something, but they brushed those off really good and now my teeth are nice and clean, and fresh! Hope this helps some of you! ;)

Florida Girl I honestly have no stains, and my teeth were pretty white. After a month of using sensodyne since my teeth were really sensitive and I wanted to strengthen them, I used whitening toothpaste and I am so satisfied with the results.

HERES A TIP TO HELP YOU NOT VOMIT WHEN YOURE DOING THE MOLD:
Hum. Yes, hum a song. It’s scientifically proven that if you hum you can’t gag. I know it sounds so weird, but if you don’t believe me, try it!
I've learned to breathe through my nose and do one of those suction swallows by pushing your tongue to the back, having it cover your throat. If you do the tongue push it should protect your tonsils and cover up the region of the tongue that triggers the gag reflex. Deep even breaths and counting get me by once I've done that.

I'm 33 and finally able to afford braces! I'm terrified really, the Dr has to remove 2 teeth to make space in my mouth. Never had a bad tooth or cavity in my whole life so I guess there's a first for everything.. lol. I have to have 6 teeth removed. 4 to make room for movement and 2 that will be replaced with a bridge when my treatment is over. I already am missing 5 teeth, including my wisdom teeth. My mouth feels so empty now so I'm interested to see what February 2020 brings when I get my braces!

And about the feeling of the difference they made, I still have a long way to go -with my braces but after 7 months now, seeing the difference in my teeth has gave me more confidence to talk/laugh/smile. My teeth were a mess. I was embarrassed to even talk. I used to cover my mouth every time i laughed cause it'd leave my teeth exposed and i hated it. The difference they can make to you both physically and mentally is amazing. It makes all the pain worth it. My best wishes to you : P

I used to have it but my dentist told me that it's caused by your toothpaste so maybe if you change it to an all natural toothpaste it'll disappear just like mine did :)
andy i wish mine was like that:( my ortho told me it was something as little as a fever that happened when my teeth were developing and theres no way to remove them
I remember finding your videos, about the week before I got my braces (two years ago!!) and right as I got mine on, you got yours off. Now, a week from today, I'm getting mine off!! I actually ended up liking them, and I'm just the slightest bit sad. But, your videos helped me so much getting into braces, and getting them off!! ♡

Angelica Virginia from 1-10 I would honestly say a 6 or 7. I don’t know if it’s just me, but i feel pressure on my teeth. And when I bite into food they feel like they’re loose? I don’t know if that makes sense. I also didn’t get any teeth pulled out my dentist said she wanted to wait for that and I only got my top teeth done. It feels really weird to have them on. In the morning tho when I wake up I my mouth feels dry and the braces stick to the inside of my lips... but honestly it’s more discomfort than pain. But you can always ask for pain meds. Why until 2018?

The white teeth thing is true, my brother took the worst care of his teeth and when he got his braces off, his teeth were perfectly white. My teeth are super yellow, I hope when I get my braces off they look more white! Nice video !
My teeth are also more yellow. Sometimes my lips get super chapped and red and painful and all I can do is wait for it to go away (usually 5 days) but the only plus is my red lips make my teeth look whiter

I just recent got braces they look strange on me bc I have big front teeth
i think the major thing i realised after getting off my braces is how small my lips went! with braces i could easily smile with my lips shut, but without them it’s so difficult. it’s also the best feeling to not have food get stuck in your teeth anymore, brushing feels so much better
My gums were really inflamed when I got my braces off and bled when I brushed them
Also I dont have the plastic retainer like she has. I have a metal bar along the front upper and lower teeth that has a lot of glue on it

I’ve been waiting for my orthodontist appointment I had today since January, and I’ve been so excited. I got my last wire and new rubber bands! My orthodontist says that I’m early, which is good, so I can get my braces off faster, even though I love braces. I love the satisfying feeling of when my teeth hurt, honestly, because then I know my teeth are doing it’s work properly. 😊
Hi Emma, maybe you won't see this but I'll write it anyway. Now that you're done with braces videos, I was thinking maybe should do reviews on subscription boxes like ipsy, boxycharm, etc. And if you're not into beauty boxes maybe do some that are not related to makeup like stitch fix or jewelry boxes!
