1 stripe = 2nd officer in training
2 stripes = 2nd officer
3 stripes = first officer
3 stripes (but one is bigger) = CRP (Senior first officer)
4 stripes = captain
4 stripes (with a star) = chief pilot or very high seniority captain

How long usually do you stay at home and can you call in sick and how long are vacations?

We average about 12-15 days of the month at home. Yes you can call in sick, they don't want a sick pilot flying the plane. Vacations vary depending on the company and time of service. I get two weeks paid but I take a lot of non paid vacation.

Avocadotoast It’s horrible that this happened. From the last news I read they had an angle of attack sensor issue which would have lead to a lot of distraction and miss information. It would have been a very confusing situation and on top of it they would have to flight the stall protections.
