    My cousin was a Capt on the A319, A320 & A321 for years. He transferred to a Boeing 767 & was a FO for a few months before becoming a Captain. He retired after 3 years in the left seat. I did know both are qualified & capable pilots. Thanks for posting.

    "CargoBae" is one of the best CZcams Channel names for aviation.

    I’ve always known this, but thanks for explaining.
    I have always wondered why people thought that 😅 even my mom did for a while until I explained it to her that they’re both very trained and just as good.
    It’s just one has more years of experience flying than the other.
    Kinda like work seniority, but it doesn’t take away from any pilots skill and vice versa. Very informative video!
    I’m literally watching ALL your videos 😅

    Do you guys typically know what kind of cargo you are transporting.

      We are aware of all the HAZMAT and perishables on board. Otherwise, we can ask if we’re curious.

    Do you typically have to apply for a visa to countries that allow free entry to U.S. citizens or do pilots have a special passport that allows them to travel without visa?

    • @CargoBae
      @CargoBae  Před rokem +1

      As pilots, we don’t require a visa as we’re just transiting and/or staying a couple of days for work purposes. I fly around the world and the only ‘special visa’ I have is for China and India.

      Absolutely! Layovers are apart of a pilot’s job. We’re still on the clock while out on the road.

    The captain I RESPONSIBLE for the flight, all aspects of the flight. The captain, NOT the fo. The fo failed to mention that little point.

    • @CargoBae
      @CargoBae  Před rokem +1

      The captain is ultimately responsible for the entire flight! That’s why they get paid the big bucks😎
