@Deon Carter Even if they’re referencing new seasons, Jay is rarely locked in with them. Just in nerve center doing tech stuff. I can see how someone would interpret that as 3 people investigating.

Ghost adventures in my house has turned into betting on when Zack gets possessed. The actual minute. 35 mins is the norm btw. Or when Arron has problems breathing. This is a wild card.
According to Rich on stream the Best Of The Worst Episode where they filmed in the Mansion (The Item, Crawlers and Bloodlock) Mike got really drunk and afterwards he was trying to get EVPs and he was being really serious about it.
I think Mike is fascinated with how editing can be used to make a story out of disparate footage. He's also talked about how Chopped, another reality show, edits footage to create suspense even when it contradicts what really happened (e.g. making it look like everyone finished just before the time was up). We know he's also a fan of Borat. I think this may be part of why Mike is good at editing RLM videos -- he knows how to take a meandering discussion and cut the best parts together to make it seem like a coherent conversation.
@@holycow818181 Plus the psychology of the supernatural theme itself, the way that you can rationally know it's not real while also asking yourself "What if?, and all of the shared delusion that goes into creating and acting out a fiction that everyone there is trying to buy into because they're incentivized to.
mike's comment about ghost tours is so ridiculously accurate; i've been on 6 of them in different cities and there's ALWAYS that one dork who has to make a scene. the most memorable was touring an old prison in St Augustine with some teenage kid who violently screamed at his parents the whole time about the SPIRITS being DARK AND UNCLEAN and wandering around with his arms in the air talking to "them" in the stairwells/rooms behind the rest of the tour the whole time. his parents indulged him the whole time, telling him they felt the "spirits" as well. was the funniest and most ridiculous thing i've ever seen lol
Adam Christopher i for one would very much be in favor of 2 hour half in the bag episodes with tangents of Mike talking about Star Trek and Jay talking about obscure horror films
I like how the lights are always off and they shoot in night vision even when it's just a couple people standing around talking, as if flipping a light switch would make all the spooky demons and ghosts run away.
In times of chaos.. believe me or not, but i always come to this video. Something about Mike feeling comfort watching ghost adventuress gives me comfort.
I too love Ghost Adventures, every since season 3 I have watched. And I will be the first to say that Zak Bagans is a fraud and narcissist. That's why I started watching the show. Spookies + developmentally challenged guy on steroids trying to fist fight the air. It's television gold.
The first few seasons were off the rails, with Zak ripping off his shirt to fight ghosts every chance he got, Aaron being subjected to near constant psychological trauma, and just generally terrible ideas (i.e. locking Nick into an incinerator that may have been air tight enough to suffocate him). I maintain that the most hilarious episode to date is the one in the Riviera hotel where they have the most depressing party ever with Brett Michaels and a bunch of cheap Vegas hookers, while a dog with a go-pro strapped to it does the ghost hunting for them.
Thanks for not leaving these outtakes to the cutting floor. Having them talk about hack frauds is always entertaining, even if it is slightly off topic of the film.
“I MUST WASH MY HANDS! I MUST WASH MY HANDS! I MUST WASH MY HANDS!” I would like to think that the lady mentioned above just exclaims that anytime she touched anything lol

I laughed most of the time when Zak interacted with the Box because as far as I know, the current owner to it (who has been the current holder for years.) says he refused to let anyone touch it or interact with it. He also had it sealed into of another box and buried it out on his family's property and he is the only one who knows where so no one would get hurt by it again.
It's funny, my sister had to work on one of their episodes before. She said it was the most fake but hilarious thing to work on, and even met the fella in person as she drove for him. Said he kinda acted like a spoilt teenager
Mike and my mom's love of Ghost Adventures has always been so strange to me but they're both old so maybe that's it and it's finally come full circle for Mike and the elderly.
Yeah, like that BoTW episode with the canadians where Rich outs him as believing in this shit and he just stands there with a face of crushing embarrassment as they laugh. Just like a kid that farts in the middle of a classroom.
Zac Bagin's is the guy in Phasmobia who would go in memeing and cracking jokes and saying shit to the ghost, but once the door locks and he hears the loud footsteps he screams loudly, knocks shit over and refunds the game afterwards.
I can buy that the guys on Finding Bigfoot really believe in Bigfoot. Unlike Ghost Hunters. Mind you I think people who believe in both would agree that Bigfoot is the rarer find, so not finding him doesn't shake a believer's faith as much as failing to ever find ghosts would.

@@Strider119119 I really enjoyed the Pre Rec reviews, but the live streams were really hit or miss, tending toward miss.
@@Strider119119 Maaaaaybe also because it was Rich and Jack and not Mike and Jay. It doesn't make sense to compare the two shows.
That would be so much fun though to watch movies along with them.
Things I would love to see:
- Mike do a Re:View of his favourite episodes of Ghost Adventures with a drunk Jay (who would inevitably gradually start phasing out of the conversation and/or accuse people of "freaking out").
- Mike and Jay attempting a ghost hunt themselves whilst filling the inevitable disappointing silence with a review of some current garbage straight to Netflix movie.
- Mike interviewing Zak Bagans, played completely straight... then have Jay edit his thoughts over the top of the whole thing. Bonus points if Rich Evans is lurking in the background without Zaks knowledge.
I know these will never happen. But damn. I love watching Mike talk about his guilty pleasures so earnestly and everyone else sarcastically going along with his kooky belief in ghosts.
I would like to see this too. Too bad RLM almost never read comments.
According to a recent episode of Macaulay Culkin’s podcast, the ghost hunt video is happening!

The best part of ghost adventures is how their evidence never amounts to anything beyond doors shutting on their own or dust particles. The entire show is basically 3 dudes so scared they experience psycho-somatic symptoms. In the newer seasons they use the Xbox Kinect lmao!
“Billy! It’s dancing on your shoulder!”
4 people now??? Or you watching the wrong show

Jorji Mike should make a video of him ghost hunting
According to Rich on stream the Best Of The Worst Episode where they filmed in the Mansion (The Item, Crawlers and Bloodlock) Mike got really drunk and afterwards he was trying to get EVPs and he was being really serious about it.
I'd pay to watch an 8 hour stream of the RLM team locked in the Brumder Mansion.
Better yet, have Scientist Man do it
Mike and Jay GO GHOST HUNTING
That Step Brothers splice could not have been more on point.
I like how Mike disproves ghost shows with his own commentary, yet he still watches and believes them.
I really like that this is still properly edited, and not just straight up raw footage dumped onto youtube like other hack channels would do.
Yeah, this hack channel is on point

i was once trapped in a car driving with some kid who did just that
When I watched this HitB I had a sneaking suspicion that Mike had gone on about GA for awhile and Jay edited it out for brevity. This validates me
I too love Ghost Adventures, every since season 3 I have watched.
