  • Meisner Technique: Stage Two Repetition With A point Of View
This is the second video in a series we produced to show the whole Meisner Technique from beginning to end.
In the second stage we are building upon the first stage repetition exercise. During this exercise actors will change the repetition only when see or feel an emotional change. The goal is to try to pinpoint emotional changes in yourself and in your partner.

Great listening and natural flow from the actors truly listening and responding instinctively! So glad I found this amazing channel🎉!

Should they be focusing so much about sharing how they feel? I get it if it comes out of the moment, but if relied on too much, personal observations about one’s own feelings can be used deflect what the other person is giving you. Focus on what’s happening “over there”. Thoughts?

They become repetitive in the long run, ocoming back more and more to things they already said. Is this intended? Are they supposed to restrict themselves to a few short comments? Or is this more like something one should overcome by training?

It wasn't good. They were acting, it was so fake. The Meisner techniques whole point is don't do acting when you are acting.
