- The nickname was given to him by teammates because he had an interest in the arts, literature and music that didn't involve Phil Collins. A slight figure who jinked and twisted his way into fans' affections.
Used to watch him at St Jude’s primary school in Barlanark doing the crossbar challenge back in the early 80’s and my family lived next door to his all those years ago

Used to be one of my all time favourite 3 Chelsea players in my years supporting the club. Hazard and Drogba’s inclusion makes it a top 5 nowadays, but there’ll always be a place for wee Pat. John Neal has been largely forgotten by subsequent generations of blues, I will always consider him the man who did as much as anybody to save the club during the utter shite years.
