Football compilations focusing on past players and teams.
Faas Wilkes - The Flying Dutchman
A pioneer who played in Serie A and La Liga at a time when the KNVB - and much of northern Europe - was very uptight about professional football. His eight seasons abroad cost him more than 40 caps. Yet he remained the Netherlands' top scorer - with 35 goals in 38 appearances - until the late 90s. A wizard of the dribble.

Brazil 1986 - One More Time
zhlédnutí 759Před měsícem
Just because they came after the 1982 team doesn't mean they weren't thrilling. Long overdue for a reappraisal.
Lubos Kubik - Bomber
zhlédnutí 288Před měsícem
There is footage of him scoring with his right foot; it was perfectly serviceable, in terms of technique. But you can understand why he didn't bother with it most of the time. (Credit where it's due; many of the clips form here: czcams.com/video/bPr4gxuBEXI/video.html)
Giancarlo Antognoni - Antonio
zhlédnutí 1,3KPřed 2 měsíci
Never in a hurry, always in control and constantly bubbling with ideas. Nobody played more Serie A games for Fiorentina, nor has a Fiorentina player made more appearances for the Azzurri. A brilliant player whose only failing was a lack of luck.
Didi - Dry Leaf
zhlédnutí 683Před 2 měsíci
An attacking midfielder who combined grace and stamina. The main man at the 1958 World Cup, eclipsing even Pele, he went on to win the 1962 tournament as well. The 'folha seca' (dry leaf) free-kick was a speciality of his.
Branco - Missile launcher
zhlédnutí 529Před 2 měsíci
The man who gave Roberto Carlos licence to shoot like a maniac. There's an assist at the beginning of this montage, because it shouldn't be just be one thunderbastard after another. But it's mainly thunderbastards.
Rainer Bonhof - Cannonball
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed 3 měsíci
A World Cup winner who helped Borussia Moenchengladbach to four Bundesliga titles from defensive midfield. His side hustle was regular goal of the month candidates. One of the truest strikers of the old heavy balls; he could bend them to his will. A favourite - and winner - at Valencia and Koln too.
Johan Cruyff - The Barcelona years

As far as homages to Catalonia go, it really was quite something.
Andreas Möller - Turbo
zhlédnutí 2,2KPřed 3 měsíci
Lightning fast, with a propensity for quickfire shooting. And for keeping it together after facing a dream-crushing yellow card.
Franz Beckenbuer - Farewell, Kaiser
zhlédnutí 735Před 3 měsíci
Pace, precision and poise ... a giant of the game who redefined the libero role and won it all along the way. Apologies to those who left lovely comments on the earlier version of this video: ashraf saleh commented: "The best German player in all Germany history for sure . The legendary Kaiser . Rest in peace Franz ." La Tribune des Pirates commented: "thanks" Milanista Comunista commented: "RI...

Jan van Beveren - Butterfly in the Sixteen
Great player.
Gênio da bola!!! Jogava brincando.
LEGEND! Forza Lazio sempre!
To think he did this when he was an alcoholic with serious relationship issues and mental health
He was an animal but an animal who could certainly play.
Да, уникальный вратарь с неповторимой кошачьей пластикой. Ничего похожего я больше не видел
It pains me ta say this, even being ah hard core Arsenal fan, that Pep Guardiola, would break tha bank 🏦, or literally "sell his soul" no religious antics intended, ta purchase this maestro and genius😢😢😢😢😢
In an interview, he states that after footballing sessions, he'd spend sacrificial hours kicking the ball, against tha wall 🧱G⚽️H🧱 and simply it's how he developed tha skill. Young inspiring ones, it's sacrificial hard wurk, far tha real talent ta be revealed
Arsenal hard core fan, I'm The one of many famous players from our friends on the northern joint of London, but certainly tha most talented and loved.....Glenn Hoddle. Talk about class, finesse and elegance, tha Lord abundantly bless this man with it. Majestic and unassuming character!! Legend of England 🇬🇧 Ah believe ah speak far ALL Arsenal fans here. My eternally favourite player, plus he's ah born again Christian ✝️ 💙 ❤️
scored on first game for spurs, swindon, england
Good player
The problem with England has been the quality of managers has never matched the quality of players we've had.
Golden and fantastic team !! From Japan 🎉!! Best !!
For a so called fat bloke, he can shift a bit. That was some skill on display.
Jeannot "la gazelle".
He played with Johan.
He was still a true English player. Nowadays English players are overpaid divas who can't run two feet without going down. Especially if an opponent is anywhere near them.
This man was a menace
His skill beats any English player, end of
Top class
Apart from all the talents and skills he was really well, proportionally built. Perfect body for a goalkeeper.
The English version of Messi
Was the best player at the 94 World Cup. Scored some great goals in that tournament
Best Shooter ever seen. 😮❤
Twice the player Giggs was
I didn't know him, thanks!!!
Gênio 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Was a good player but also absolute filth
Gullit was great but that year Futre deserved the Ballon d'or.
A beautiful video- the music is also so appropriate. Such an elegant and memorable player....he always looked so comfortable with a football at his feet.
People should remember that Nigeria always has potentials, skilled players to the max
The England team should have been built round him !
Con Pelè e Maradona lui è tra i più grandi calciatori di tutti i tempi in assoluto. Sempre nel ❤
Love your channel. I have a suggestion for you who I think would make for a fantastic comp: Victor Ikpeba. I have watched a lot of late 90s monaco and some of the goals he scored were unbelievable. That monaco side had some incredible forgotten players, Ali bernarbia is another who was fantastic and is severely underappreciated. Just some recommendations as I know you love to bring to light some older or less talked about players
Hardly a host of decent chances created here! Yes, the long passes may look good, but I'm suspicious of players who are keen to offload the ball with a build up long ball, but then keep themselves too deep to be part of the next phase.
Où sont passées mes belles années, mes années sans insouciances ? Oui y’a eu Didier, mamad’ mais depuis ???
As a gooner I hate saying this but he was absolute class. Best passer by a mile in English football and definitely most 2 footed
Hoddle was class and probably one of the few players who used both feet naturally but when you compare him to the footage of players like Maradona, Zidane it's way off world class. Mind you I am a gooner so....lol
awesome super talented TC
I was lucky enough to be a season ticket holder from 1979 to 2000. Sid was the best player to put on the claret and blue by a country mile. An absolute genius, and when he was young, before he buggered his knee, he tackled like a demon. Such a shame that the London press made sure that lightweight Hoddle was the England number 10
Someone needs to get all the proper footage of this guy and make a documentary about him. Not enough people know about him.
what a player
Mt favourite player of all time. There's only ever been one of him. Unique in every way
Sempre de cabeca erguida. Craque demais.
Thank god someone finally made a decent Tony Currie comp. Thank you
Great channel, absolutely superb! The best days of my life! Thank you. 👍🏼⚽️⚽️⚽️
Du même niveau que Zidane.
My favourite player ever 👍🏻
Same for me. I used to go with my dad, just to collect empty beer bottles. Used to get a dime per bottle. Than one day I heard the crowd go mad...it was because of Willem van Hanegem was showing his tricks. From that moment I started to go only for the football to the stadium
Gazza. The thing people forget is that in his pomp he had outrageous pace, he also had the close control and vision to take the ball with him and cruise through the best defences in the world. All he lacked was the brutal finishing of Shearer and the absolute piercing power, accuracy and audacity of LeTissier.
