  • Kajabi and Teachable are both popular platforms for online course creators and online business owners. In some ways they are very similar. But in reality they are quite different.
In today's video I'm going to break down the pros and cons of each, covering feature set and price to help YOU determine which platform is best for your online business.
I'm going to be honest from the beginning though that I personally use Kajabi for both of my online businesses so I'm biased. That being said this video is a fair breakdown of the differences.

I have been on Kajabi for a while but since I am building a new course on a different domain I am going to have to pay almost 300 USD per month, and this is much more expensive than Thinkific or Teachable.
A second issue I have is payment integration. The new course will only be sold in Sweden and Kajabi does not support the two biggest Swedish payment options. (Klarna and Swish)
Being able to have more domains for a lower price with Swedish payment integration is very valuable to me.

Current plan... With NO list, but a good idea and fresh from a Jeff Walker PLF workshop.
    1. Build list to ~300 in free mailchimp, with a free mailchimp site for lead magnet etc.
    2. Seed launch for live-taught course via Zoom, sold via free mailchimp product/landing page etc.
    3. Use whatever revenue gained from initial seed launch to pay for as much kajabi as I can, to host tidied-up version of seed launch course.
    4. Move list of ~300 to Kajabi (gotta be easier to do than 300k...) and keep working it hard to build it.
Tempting to use teachable to host initial (beta) run of course... But I'm sure Kajabi is the way to go in the end. So let's make ONE move as quick as I have some payment to do it with...

Kajabi can’t split revenue with additional instructors, so that was a dealbreaker for me! Teachable has some rough edges, but I definitely prefer it. Listen to all the points & insights he surfaces to give yourself a foundation of knowledge, then wrap up your research by looking at a couple other reviews and then examining each sites' documentation and then TRYING THEM YOURSELF.
