Love the shirt. Praise the Living God. Romans 1:16
Number four setting depth. Put it up on the 1,2,3 blocks and subtract the distance u raised it up
Mr. Gizzip made his own hand screw clamps as well as double bar clamps.
They'll all be mine some day.
As a retired person, who enjoys woodworking, I really appreciate you taking the time to find these jewels! Thanks
wth is complaining about videos like this? I love these suggestions and reviews its handy when you're a hobbyist.
Don't worry what people say or think about your videos. I like them and find them useful. I am that man working on a budget. Takes broken wood home to make something with it! 😅. Keep them coming
The "light tint" glasses are called indoor/outdoor lenses. They are designed for going in and out of a building to reduce the bright flash going outside and the dim/darkness of coming back into a building on a sunny day.
FYI - I appreciate these types of video's. As you said, you used these tools and are giving your opinion as to their worth in the "budget" tool category. Many of us are in that category for a number of reasons! Thank-you.
I appreciate that!
Keep videos like these coming! I greatly appreciate them. Ignore the haters. You do what feels right for you.
I appreciate that
I work maintenance at a hotel. I keep one of those Milwaukee knives in my pocket all day every day. Super handy, I don't always have to run all the way to the maintenance room to get a screwdriver when one of the housekeepers waves me down to come fix a loose this that or the other thing. Great tool.
Thanks for the content! I understand you’ve been getting some negative comments about your videos. I’m always amazed by people who don’t like what someone is doing and feel the need to comment on it. Obviously you like/enjoy it or you wouldn’t be doing it. No need to explain yourself, keep up the good work!!
Nice showcase! On the iGaging setup gauges, you said that the digital one (previously reviewed) doesn't have the notch for offsetting to the center of the router bit. That's what those stainless steel anvils are for.
Oh the Fastback! This is by far one of my favorite purchases (I have two) I almost always have one on me, in my car/purse. It’s so handy
I am very happy that you like those safety glasses as much as me. Those are the ones I always recommended for our guys while a Safety Manager. I found that people would actually use them as opposed to the others that are tighter and fog up. Thank you for adding them to your list. I truly hope this video will save at least one person’s eyes.
I appreciate all your tips and tricks and budget friendly videos. Keep up the good work , you will never be able to please everyone .
Just a suggestion. But I’d put 731 Woodworking stickers on the tool box door.
As the man used to say (and as I told 75 Cub Scouts this summer when I was in charge of their woodworking project at day camp), "Remember, there is no more important safety rule than to wear these - safety glasses" ;)
Just got to the end of the video, as a guy who already has another super expensive hobby, my wallet and my wife super appreciate these inexpensive tool videos. I just recently got into woodworking because I needed a desk and rack furniture for my recording studio and those things are crazy expensive. Your videos on inexpensive tools are part of the reason I was able to buy all the tools , plus all the lumber I needed to build the desk and the racks I wanted, and still come in $1800 cheaper than buying the desk. Thanks for all you do.
That Milwaukee 6 in 1 blade has a “secret compartment inside the handle to store an extra blade. There’s a little blade insignia near it check it out! Been using that knife for a long time love it.
Thank You for these videos/tips.
The Emperorist keeps a close watch on the what I spend on my woodworking so she is in favor of these
Matt, thanks again for producing these videos. I find them very informative and I enjoy your enthusiasm when you share this information. As I start my woodworking adventure as I transition from working full time to being retired, I look forward to this journey and you will be a big part of that. Please continue with your videos on tools and wood working projects. I look forward to all of your videos. Thanks.
Seriously folk!!! Some people dont understand the importance of wear safety glasses and hearing protection while using your power tools!!! In the past, Ive pushed my luck way too much NOT WEARING safety glasses.
Now I constantly carry both safety glasses and hearing protection with me all the time.
It literally takes less than 5 seconds to put some safety glasses on, and some sort of hearing protection....
Good call on the glasses. I've been looking for anti fog glasses and haven't found any. Will give these a try.
Thank you. I am new to woodworking and have a very low budget. I appreciate your help. 👍👍
Glad to help
Regardless of what others say i luv these vids. They making my Christmas wish list.
Keep doing what your doing . Thx Matt.
I find your videos extremely helpful. I’m just returning to woodworking and plan to do much more. I’m a retired school principal and this is my new thing.
I love your videos like this! I like finding budget tools. I like finding tools I haven't seen before. And interesting budget tools at this time of the year are great things to consider for gifts or for your own Christmas list.
Matt, I always appreciate your tool recommendations! I got the iGauging squares and setup blocks on your recommendation a while back and couldn’t be happier with them. I guess I’ll be getting their height gauges soon too. Thanks brother!
Thanks for the budget tools Matt. I have very, very limited budget many times forgo tools due to the price. You're a great big help! 😊😊😊❤❤
I like your content, I don’t buy everything but gives an idea about what tool I might need. Look forward to a project though.
I love these videos! I just recently got into wood working and thanks to your videos I know what to get and at a good price!
Hey Matt, I love your videos. They are informative and very useful. I do miss watching you actually building stuff though. Blessings!!!
Appreciate your help getting great info on tools I can actually afford!
Tom Byrne
always appreciate these videos. Thanks
Glad you like them!
I have that rubber backed ruler, it’s pretty awesome. I got mine at a local metal supply store… and have never used it for woodworking yet, but I can confirm that it is nice when you’re marking out sheet metal and it doesn’t slide all over the place.
How can one not appreciate these videos on the budget friendly tools. Not everyone is able to or ready to go out and buy the pricier tools
Great tips as always Matt great job keep doing what you’re doing greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Will do!
I appreciate these videos because it does exactly what you’re saying…it helps me build my shop without breaking my budget. So thank you!
Glad to help
I only recently discovered your channel, but you have quickly become one of my favorites because of videos like this one. Thanks for posting!
Wow, thank you!
Thank you for these types of videos.
Without them, I wouldn't know these things existed. When I go to the hardware or lumber store I am there to get specifics. I rarely have the time to look around at every section and a lot of these precision measuring tools aren't carried at big box stores.
Thank you again.
Thanks for watching!
I can’t remember who it is, but you can get bifocal safety glasses now too. I have a clear and a shade pair.
If using th I-guage setup guage and need more than 2" of saw blade height you can use the 1-2-3 blocks.
Good video 🤛
Thanks! 😃
Speaking of plans....I. bought a set of your bundle plans last year. So far I've built the miter station and the planer cart. Today I plan on building a second rolling table however instead of a planer cart, it's going to be my mobile router cart. Love e your channel Matt, you help me spend my money wisely!
Fantastic!
I have watched all the videos you and others have done on this kind of Topic. I have most of these tools already or have heard about them. With all that said, when a new video like this comes out YOU BETTER BELIEVE IM WATCHING IT!!! 😂
Wow, thanks! 👊
Of all the things you showed, the one thing I want the most, you didn't provide a link for: the shirt pocket at 1:01!
I like the videos and sharing the deals you find. I run a small business and working capital can be tight so stretching my dollars as far as I can keeps me profitable and food on the table. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing!!
I love the shirt
I like 😊
Great list, these are not common suggestions at all. A problem I never really thought about, but I do have is my safety glasses fog up all the time
They also make bi-focal safety glasses for
Thanks. Replying for a friend
And they make safety sunglasses in bifocal too!
0:35 that’s because it’s a “ wallpapering” tool.
Milwaukee Utility Knife on my belt as I type!!
I just added it to my Christmas wish list! Sounds like an awesomely useful knife!
Any build videos?
TIMEWARPS!! One minute the Bambu Carbon there, the next minute it's not. ALIENS!!
You keep it up, regardless of the haters. Not everyone can afford to have Powermatic and Felder outfitting every nook and cranny of their shop. These are appreciated videos.
Thank you for what you do for us in the woodworking world!
Ignore folks that poo-poo on these types of videos. It’s your channel and it’s your business, you do you! And besides not everyone has seen every tool or every idea out there.
If you place the router/table saw guage on top of your 1,2,3 blocks you can increase the height up to 5"
Awesome tip!
Awesome list Mighty Matt!!! People that refuse to use tools because they aren’t “pricey” enough are straight up fools. The “braggers” and the “designer tools” only folks are missing out. I use whatever works and I’m always looking for a good tool that doesn’t break the bank. Appreciate it. Lloyd…….
Most of the time you can catch these on sale all of the time. 😳
Back looks like drawer liner .
Love your shirt.
Thanks!
Just a quick question, whats with the handcuffs hanging in your cabinet? LOL
lol, I was an Arkansas State Trooper for 13 years before going full time as a CZcamsr
I love these videos reviewing and recommending products! It may help provide a solution for problems or keep it in the back of your mind when you have an issue then you have a solution or an easier way to do things!
I like these videos but when are you going to build something or do a project again?
in a few weeks.
Why would anyone complain about doing a video about budget friendly tools. Love all your videos you’re my favorite utube guy keep up the good work. (I do have one complaint you got me hooked on Woodpecker tools lol)
Hey Matt, my name is Joey. I'm actually from Monticello, too. We've crossed paths many times before. I worked for MASI for 14 years and worked for University Police at UAM for a little while. I'm currently looking at getting into woodworking, and I've been watching your videos and have been learning a lot. I was hoping maybe we could talk and I could get some 1 on 1 advice.
Lol
These videos masked as helpful seem mostly like ads to make you money
Keep scrolling and don’t watch if that’s how you feel.
@@Damon_Barber he would not list the places to buy them where he gets a cut of the proceeds if it was not true. Which means its not how I feel. Its what it is.
@@jrhenry24 This is BS on steroids. Does he include affiliate links? Yes. But he has also reviewed and linked to tools from companies for which he has no affiliation and for which he receives no commission.
@@jrhenry24 So he shouldn’t help people by directing them to where they can get the tool? Or you don’t expect him to feed his family at no extra cost to whoever buys the product? It costs you nothing for him to post where to get it and it doesn’t cost any extra to buy through those links. Every smart content creator does this. It’s called diversification. Multiplying your income stream is just smart. Even other creators who 99% post build projects share affiliate links to where viewers can get the tools or hardware they use in the video.
The only reason for leaving a snarky comment is to be a jerk or a troll.
@@Damon_Barber I think it should be divulged if he receives a commission. What has happened with “influencers” being paid to review products in the last 5 years is unprecedented unless you count already famous people obviously doing so during commercial breaks. This is different. This is him advertising for a company or companies and treating it like he is doing unbiased reviews for his and his family’s profit. Morally I think it is shady unless he divulges that at the beginning of the video. If you think that pretending to do reviews when you get a cut of the proceeds is not shady, you have the right to that opinion.
Same videos same tools all over again
Same troll. Same comment.
Wh- what? What I’m the world would the flak from other youtubers be about these kinds of videos? 🤔 that’s ridiculously petty even for CZcams standards
agreed
you know your audience are not TicTok kids who need 30 sec videos. Its ok to make them longer. but hey just means I will rewind, rewind n rewind again. Maybe its a smart move to indoctrinate ppl to your channel.
Never stop providing solutions at any price point. Rich people get and stay rich by finding deals and saving money where they can. Do I buy Festool and Woodpecker's? Sure, but I also buy tools like these where I can and put my money into quality items where I need them.
