You have to remember that the people who write these Pepsi commercials could care less about bringing the world together, all that they want is to keep making billions of dollars by using famous faces and pretending to care about what's going on in the world.

Lilly Green Some people think that it's a little insulting to suggest that the issues they protest for can be solved with a can of Pepsi. I personally think it was in poor taste but it wasn't malicious in a any way.

The latest news is that they will be creating a new commercial and this time it will feature Caitlyn Jenner handing out Pepsi to Truck Drivers at a rest stop and then they make her an honorary Truck Driver.

Huge mistake Pepsi. Huge. Where were your focus groups, board approvals, research? Did you just skip over these steps before you shot and aired this commercial? Did you include the opinions of minorities, Millennials, freedom fighters and political analysts? I don't think so.

Because ads are about IMAGES and images are super powerful in their ability to persuade people to purchase products! I don't feel sorry for Kendall at all. She and her mother should have more carefully considered the outcome of this commercial. Goes to show you that they are both seriously out of touch with the state of the world right now.

True Imagery play this role and also marketing ploy, they have been doing this. Like example the Camel Cigarette commercial like in the 50's where the doctor smoke cigarette, then you know what happens. It's psychological, people can't stop what they watch or hear. I stopped watching T.V because of this nonsense commercial they giving us and plus cable is expensive we already have the internet.

  • @ThePhilosopher-ww6jt

Here is what Pepsi was thinking: "There's so much diversity in this commercial everyone will love it". They didn't realize how sensitive blacks are and how they get angry over any little thing. Even though there wasn't any actual reference to Black Lives Matter in the commercial. Also, the Jenners and Kardashians date black guys which means black women are just looking for an excuse to be mad at them. The company has learned a valuable lesson and I don't think this will hurt them very much.
