തൃശൂർ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ KSRTC ബസ്സുകളെക്കാൾ വളരെ കൂടുതൽ ആണ് സ്വകാര്യ ബസ്സുകൾ. സർക്കാർ ബസ്സുകൾ സമയക്രമം പാലിച്ച് ഓടുക പതിവില്ല. പല റൂട്ടുകളിലും സ്വകാര്യ ബസ്സ് ജീവനക്കാർ ഇങ്ങിനെ സമയം തെറ്റി ഓടുന്ന സർക്കാര് ബസ്സ് തൊട്ട് പിന്നാലെ ഓടി എത്തുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്നറിയാൻ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ പിന്നിൽ നോക്കികൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. സർക്കാര് ബസ്സ് അങ്ങിനെ പിന്നിൽ എത്തുന്ന നേരം ഡബിൾ ബെൽ അടിക്കും... "തോമസ് കുട്ടി.. വിട്ടോടാ... ആന പുറകിൽ...."

Prashant I have travelled in terra plane....as a child....it was the most talked about bus in school...Terra Plane was the abbreviation for terrestrial aeroplane....it used to be really fast...glass sliding windows and cushion seats...super luxury those days🤣🤣...Actually there was an interdistrict minibus service in 1980s too...Mitsubishi Eisher minibuses were used...it used to faster and less stops too..besides there was a trailor bus too..a semi rig with leyland cab...as a kid it used amaze me how the driver heard conductor's bell instructions...it also was withdrawn soon because of manoeuvring difficulties...😊

1980-കളിലെ നീളമുള്ള റോഡ് ട്രെയിന് എന്ന Asok Leyland bus പ്രസിദ്ധമായിരുന്നു.നീളക്കൂടുതല് കാരണം അപകടം കൂടിയതിനാല് നിർത്തി

പല നിറങ്ങളും പല പേരുകളും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും വാഹനങ്ങൾ ഒരിയ്ക്കലും കൃത്യമായി destination കളിൽ ഓടിയെത്താറില്ല... കാരണം 1) Road കളുടെ ശോച്യാവസ്ഥ 2)ചെറുവാഹനങ്ങളുടെ ബാഹുല്യം... ഇനിയും പല കാരണങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്. പിന്നെ അമിതമായ bus fare വാങ്ങി ആൾക്കാരെ പറ്റിയ്ക്കാമെന്നല്ലാതെ ഒരു കാര്യവുമില്ല.ഈ സ്ഥാപനം രക്ഷപ്പെടണമെങ്കിൽ ഇന്നത്തെ അവസ്ഥയിൽ നിന്നും Kilometer കൾ താണ്ടണം...
