Clean the inside simply by doing a very hot burn

Yes sir! I did learn that but, taking it apart meant I had to clean it the old fashion way. Thanks for stopping by Shaun!!

Just open lid and the springs come off easy

I lknow it is your first egg but you made that way harder than it should be. You should have done the "clean burn" and just replaced the gasket. Don't introduce chemicals into your egg.

Thanks Don, you are correct, live and learn, my biggest issue is before I fired it up, I wanted to be able to inspect the inside, which is why I decided to scrap it all out by hand. And, I did discover a crack in the bottom when I did this (another video in the series). Having said that, I did not introduce any chemicals on the inside, I only used them to clean the outside. I do appreciate your input and also appreciate you stopping by, have a great day!!

So what did you end up using the most as a cleaner? Most important part.

I used the combo you saw me carry out there, about a 50/50 mix but the steal wool made the biggest difference.
