Came here after seeing the trailer for the sequel, I’m hyped, I can just imagine in the second movie a scene with Jake screwing up at some point and Neytiri’s like, “Damn it Jake, you’re one of The People and you’re still like a baby.”
i wish… what upset me the most about the sequel is that a lot of their chemistry is completely gone. they interact, ironically, like two soldiers protecting their kids, not as a couple… very sad :(
@@randomspam2719 Nah, it’s not uncommon. They’ve been married 15 years, with teenage kids.. It’s more logical that they behave this way when there’s a big threat looming; rather than being all lovey dovey 🤷♂️
@@randomspam2719 Neytiri said something along the line of "we aren't soldiers, we are a family" when Lo'ak screw up and Jake be like "father needs to be tough".
@@randomspam2719 True, but I feel like that’s how it is when you’re a parent. Majority of your time is anchored to educating, protecting, nurturing and providing. I enjoyed when the two of them were riding through the forests on their Ikran for date night.
Jake and Neytiri here really are young. They laugh and have good time. In Avatar 2, they are serious and have always argued, because they're parents now and they have to fight against the RDA.
Jake fell in love from the beginning (this scene): It was love at first sight for him. Neytiri fell in love with him when he finally became an omaticaka. James Cameron said that the moment we see Neytiri smile (while flying on her Ikran alongside Jake) while watching Jake finally fly on the Ikran is proof that she loves him.
This is a beautiful scene that people don't appreciate because they only hear the message of the movie. Anything woke annoys a lot of people today. And I can understand that. We have a lot of liberals being intrusive and corrective all the time. But theres more to this scene that liberal preaching
Neytiri: ‘When I first met your father, I was trying to kill him!’
Jake: ‘It was love at first sight.’
💙
Like the mountain banshee scene. “How will I know when one chooses me?” “He will try to kill you”
@@tastefullyoffensive2412 "Outstanding..."
😂😂😂
“This is sad. Only sad” She has a point. If he had more knowledge and better trained for this world then she wouldn’t have to kill them
If he had more knowledge and better training he would have brought a flame thrower.
@@nicktitus4374 then he would have been killed fight away
@@njmoonfrost6145 at least he would have died for the glory of man. RIP.
@@nicktitus4374 that misses the message of the whole story.....
@@chriswatt6835 true. But going out with the flamethrower is in my opinion the better point.
So basically, Neytiri describes Jake as a fearless fool.
That’s what everyone interprets Jake as
Wait…did she call him a himbo?
@@ShawndaPrawn
What's a himbo?
Jake wonders why Lo’ak is his twin
1:25 the way he smiledd AAAAHHHHHH
And how the ears prick up ❤
“when I first met your father I tried to kill him”
“it was love at first sight”
"And that, kids, is how I met your mother."
This is what Jake told his kids.
From Neytiri's POV it would be: "And that, kids, is how I met your father".
I feel like Zoe Saldaña does not get enough credit for this role.
I like how she interoperate what he's saying to her in her own way to understand him lol 😂

Jake looks so innocent when asked her for help🥺
So gamora left starlord, made herself blue just to be with an avatar.
So she became Nebula
This was before her role in guardians
The music in this scene is so good at giving you feeling of adventure
What a tsundere

Now I have to watch the whole movie
Na'vi don't have eyebrows. Avatars do, and smaller eyes
And different number of fingers right?
@danny hernandez Yes, they have 3 fingers and one thumb. They're also the only native Pandoran species with 4 limbs instead of 6
Neytiri have eyebrows
He kinda is a baby

When did Neytiri and Jake know they loved each other? After Jake got his ikran?
