it melts me.. the way sam looked at zoe. not in a romantic way, definetely not, just.. sweet. very sweet. and genuine. full of adoration and admiration.
the way Zoe talked about her children learning to swim and making sure not to introduce water as something to fear was brilliantly beautiful. When she said she saw water as fear at first i felt that so hard and I love how the movie changed that for her.
Their friendship is so special. These are people who’ve been friends for 16-17 years and it’s evident. Nothing looks forced; they’re so comfortable and natural with each other.
They really are good friends. Sam laughs a LOT with Zoe 💙

I love Zoe’s portrayal of Neytiri… fantastic acting and made her come to life with such vigor and personality..
their platonic chemistry and their friendship is absolutely adorable and really interesting. this compared to/combined with interviews from when the first movie came out give me the vibes that they def had feelings for each other at some point back then, maybe at different times like a “just missed each other” situation. then, the movie was out and their work life together was over (for a few years anyways), and like she mentioned here they semi-lost touch at points. now they’re both in very healthy and loving marriages (at least from public’s pov) with kids, and are still friends and have this unique bond from all those years ago. almost like high school-almost-sweethearts but make the high school a sound stage/motion capture studio circa 2007-2008.
Nice to see a friendship between actors
Its so nice just to listen to performers talk about their love for the process of film making. Not politics or some agenda non sense. Just about making a movie. So happy to watch this and thought the movie was terrific.
Their chemistry is just phenomenal and their friendship is so genuine. Love them so much!
