It was also the debut of the modern movie 3d glasses
@@rohanamor4323 Sorry, not sorry; 3D glasses came out before this movie and they were alright for some movies. "Shut up, and fly straight" **Ikran understood English, and flies straight**
😂 right?? I assume it had to do with their physically connected bond. As soon as Jake thought it, the Ikran received Jake’s thought/vision? No clue
Well the bond allows you to control it as if it were apart of you right, so I think it worked because the verbal command allowed both him to subconsciously visualize what he wanted the creature to do AND it gave him a sense of authoritative control over the situation which allowed him to control the thing easier
Even though he says it in English, the real thought signal from his brain also travels to the Ikran through the bond at the same time. So technically, it understood the thought, not the words

This was so amazing to see in a 3D Imax theatre. Every single blade of grass was in 3D throughout the entire movie.
Not like some so-called 3D movies back when this was a trend. Some movies had only a scene or 2 in 3D, and did goofy stuff like throwing a ball at the camera or what have you.
In Avatar, every scene had a depth of field that felt real, like you were in this fantastical setting.
