  • One of the most profound scenes in the movie is the healing ceremony prayer in an attempt to save Dr. Grace Augustine, performed by Mo'at and the Omatikaya.
For educational purposes for students of the Na'vi language, I wanted to add the correct(ed) version of the translation and subtitles, so enjoy! (Translations below)
This scene made me want to learn the language, and so I started in 2010! :D
If you want to learn the beautiful Na'vi language, too, consider visiting Kelutral.org
    Here's what's being said:
Tìng mikyun ayoer, rutxe, ma Nawma Sa'nok!
(Listen to us, please, O Great Mother!)
    Srung si poeru, ma Eywa!
    (Help her, O Eywa!)
    Pori tireati munge mì nga...
    (Take her spirit into you...)
... ulte tìng ayoer nì'eyng hu ngeyä ya!
(... and give it back to us with your air/breath!)
    Tivìran po ayoekip...
    (May she walk among us...)
    ... na Na'viyä hapxì!
(... as part of the People!)
    Eo Eywa oe 'ia
(I lose myself [spiritually] before Eywa)
    Lu hasey!
    (It is finished!)
Go watch AVATAR remastered in cinemas while you can, it's worth it! :D

It feels like Eywa is some kind of ancient computer. It's seems like the Na'vi are trying to make a backup of a flash drive that's about to die, so they're copying its data onto a different flash drive (The blue avatar of Grace). But Eywa was only able to retrieve some of the corrupted information and put it in Grace's daughter (Kiri).
I think Eywa uploaded some of her data to Grace's daughter, which would explain how she is able to interact with her environment, in a way other Na'vi can't. She is able to connect with plants and animals, just like Eywa.
Maybe Grace's daughter Kiri is able to revive/heal some of the places that have been destroyed by the humans. If Eywa can heal things, so should Kiri. She could help restore everything that's been affected by the humans, i'm talking about things like the places surrounding the human base, the giant tree. Maybe even Earth.

however if way of the water does very well, we will get more avatar movies. up to 5 i think but please dont take my word
and james cameron said the third movie is gonna finish up the current plot very nicely and the other movies are gonna blow peoples mind because of how crazy itll get! apparently some guy who read the script just cursed and didnt say anything else because of it lol
so i think your theory about the whole uploading, storing and ancient machine gods could be very valid!

If you think about the explanation that Grace made after the Tree of Voices was destroyed and analyse the biology and culture of the Na'vi, you can tell that the planet itself IS alive. It's a electro-chemical link between the roots of the trees, much like a brain. And the Na'vi have access to that brain and are capable of reliving memories and add more.
Everything and everyone is connected to that. You see the funeral ceremonies: the ground literally grabs and pulls the body.
It's a bond that goes beyond physical, it's not just chemistry. We may lower it down to advanced biology and physics but I believe that is something much, much more.
If something like this is possible, we need to try to understand it and not just analyse it.

      @TiagoFerreira20930 Před rokem +5

@@laosbazinga9683 In a way, yes. In a very secretive, mysterious way.
Maybe just the memories. The Na'vi are shown to have a very deep connection with life and when it ends, all that is left are memories.
For example you noticed when the Omaticayan Tree of Souls was destroyed, Tsu'tey was completely devastated. You could his look of absolute rage and full, unspoken grief.
No, not just because the Humans destroyed a tree of great importance.
Tsu'tey and Neytiri's sister: Sylwanin were promised to each other. They were soon going to marry and loved each other very dearly. When she was killed in Grace's School during the shootout, the Tree of Souls was the only connection that Tsu'tey had with his beloved bride.
And now, that was gone, forever.
That is why he is so protective towards Neytiri and was angry when Jake and her mated. Now you know what he meant when he threw that look. It wasn't because Jake was Human. It basically meant: "They got her, too..."
It's a topic that goes well beyond.
