Congratulations!! This was by far the best video I've seen on the VT 100!! You captured so much of the course, the runners and volunteers, and even gave credit to the volunteers and land owners by name at the end! I loved all the horse footage. This is one of the last races anywhere where horses and runners race together. My goal when my endurance horse matures is to run and ride in back to back years, and your video was a lovely window into both. Can't wait to see more of your videos!
Great work Thomas. I like to run one up in that area. My specialty is the heat races. I am opposite and have difficulty in extreme cold. It looked like the aid stations were great giving soup etc. I have seen the aid stations go down hill in the South since the pandemic. They have very little to offer recently. Congratulations on the finish!
100 miles 😱 it is definitely an adventure a nice adventure looking at the footage. Something I've never tried since mostly on road races... but you inspired me with your video it looks a nice with lots of runners sharing the same passion and moments, that's great! I would try with something shorter 😉 Well done! Keep running my friend!
Thanks, Stelvio! It was actually 100Km for me. I'm training for the 100-mile event this year 🤞 (Sorry for my very, very late reply. I'm just realizing that I still have comments which I haven't replied after all this time 😨)
Great job Thomas! I can't even imagine being out in the heat for so long, let along running, tremendous effort. The area is so beautiful. What was the overall elevation gain I wonder?
Great video! Thanks so much!
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it, Matt!
That looked incredible. Great effort! 👍🏻🏃♂️
Thanks, Mark!

Thanks for the encouragement, Kelly! I hope to see you run and ride VT100 in B2B years!!
Great work on the video and the run.
Thanks Tim!

Thanks, Olga! The total elevation gain is about 12,000 feet.
@@ThomasTanUltra oh my god, it's immense!
Congrats! I did the 100 miles, and I felt grateful all day that weather was better than 2019!
Thanks for checking out my video, Simon! Huge congratulations on finishing the VT100 and good luck with Grand Slam. You're a beast!
Janu happy birthday Janu
Great race dear friend! Amazing effort! I know what 100 miles are as I finished the UTMB (100miles +10.000md+) back in 2013. Best wishes, Thomas!
Wow, that's very impressive, Mihai! You're my hero!
Great run and video! What was your official finish time?
Thanks, Anton! I'm very slow and struggled to finish. I think 17+ hours but can't complain since I didn't train for this one. 😅
