  • These Turbo T Buick's are absolute sleepers! I have driven a few of these and it seems like 770 wheel horsepower is a great range for these cars, the v6 makes such a unique sound plus being backed up by that huge wastegate blow off just makes for loads of fun! So sit back, and enjoy the ride...

    Ultimate Sleeper? Not in 2020. The sight of ANY mid 80's Buick Regal on the road today sends a message that it's most likely a force to be reckoned with.

    • @AutotopiaLA

      Austin Powers to the basic eye, it comes across as an old grandpa car, most car guys would know but without looking at that tire it’s hard to tell how much power this car is putting down

    • @scarbourgeoisie
      @scarbourgeoisie Před 3 lety +9

      @@AutotopiaLA You missed my point. Any car guy would know that it's been over thirty years since these cars rolled off the assembly line in Flint, Mi. All the "grandpa cars" are long gone. Any two door Regal on the road today, GN or not, belongs to a serious gearhead and you know it's going to be quick. At least that's the way it is where I live, which is the hometown of GM in Canada.

Was a long time ago, so I don’t remember exactally. But years ago I posted on a message board for syclone a and typhoons asking if anyone on there owned it. About 3 years ago the owner found the post and tracked me down on FB. Turns out the car left NJ and is now in the Virgin Islands. I forget which island, but he sent me pics of it there. Still has the 3in stainless steel exhaust I installed in 1997! Told him if he ever sells it, I want to be contacted first for a chance to buy it back. I have a lot of memories with that truck!

The rear diff need some help at this level if you run a good M/T tire. Not many cars making this kind of power and can get reasonable MPG.
