I’m a Liverpool fan, but even if I wasn’t, my combined XI wouldn’t change, as I consider myself to be very objective. I don’t actually rate Pogba that much, but I added him because maybe Klopp could get the best out him. De Gea is the best keeper in the world, no question, even though he’s having a poor year by his standards, but how much does that have to do with the terrible defense in front of him? Martial and Mane are interchangeable to me, they’re both top quality players, but I put him in to try and get as many United players as possible in there so as to not appear biased.
As for the game its self, I feel the same way I do every time we play United; a mixture of dread and excitement, because I know how it feels to lose to them, to beat them, and to draw with them. Losing is torture, winning is orgasmic, and drawing is cumming as soon as she touches your knob; in other words, disappointing and unsatisfying for both parties. Do I think we’ll win; yes? We should beat them, because we’re the better team by a solid mile, but we’ve been in this position multiple times before, and it has never ended well for us (thinking of the Old Trafford game last season), so I’m going into this game optimistic, but very aware of recent history. The fact that Klopp hasn’t been able to beat Mourinhos United at all is in the back of my mind also.

1 2 Gini and Milner have been superb this season, but I put Fabinho in because I believe that he has a higher ceiling of talent than the other two. I think he’s gotten to grips with the league now, as he has looked top notch recently. He and Keita are being eased in like Robbo and Ox were last season.

I’d take Martial over Mane based on this season. Martial in the league has scored 7 to Mane’s 6. Martial has scored 4 in 3 against top 6 opposition(he didn’t play against Spurs) to Mane’s 0 in 4. Martial is a better dribbler and a more clinical finisher. Martial has only taken 18 shots, Mane has taken 33.
Edit: they’re both brilliant players. I just think that Martial edges it for me right now.

it is really good to see carra and Neville debate these things , they bring the perfect balance of bias (naturally they are going to be biased to LFC or MUFC) and analysis. They both know their stuff and but are prepared to give an honest opinion.
Im an LFC fan but im actually going to go against carra a bit here in regards his comments about Pogba and Martial not getting in the Utd team - that is the decision of Mourinho and not necessarily a reflection on their talent and possibly more due to the fact Jose cannot get his team and players to work together at their best ability. Put simply , put Ronaldo at his peak in a bad un-coordinate team and im sure he would look like an annoyed petulant player. On the other hand , I don't think that Pogba would suit being in a Klopp team ever as his teams are far more about the team being a greater sum of its parts than individual stars and he wouldn't provide the work rate required.Doesnt make him any less talented , but just not suited to Klopp type teams.

Pogba has barely had a good game in the last 2 years. He was average/solid in the world cup but he wasn't creative at all. Most people seem to think pogba was a top player a juventus but these people have never watched a juventus game in their lives. These people have only ever watched the premier league. Pogba scored some great goals at juventus but he never dominated or controlled a game. Pogba is a player of moment's, a CZcams player but not a top player and he never will be.
He was more than solid at the world cup. He's had a lot of good games this season whilst having bad ones. Once he has a bad one, everyone says that he never has a good one
@@carbon9357 Kante and matiudi both out performed pogba in the world cup but nobody is talking about their performances in the world cup. In most games France played they had less possession than the opposition showing that pogba can't control the game. He's more about physicality than game intelligence. I believe pogba is a good player but not a great one. It's because man united bought him for 100 million that people think he must potentially be a great player but when he was at juventus there was barely a word mentioned about pogba in England because he played in serie a.

France was a defensive team at the world cup. They played with less possession on purpose. Everyone praised kante at the world cup. Matuidi wasn't better than pogba. Pogba was the outlet in the midfield as he was the one delivering most of the long balls to mbappe. Look at his world class pass before his goal in the wc final. Kante also didn't have a good final but I'll admit he was better than pogba through the tournament. Matuidi however was not. Pogba was at least France 4th most important player at the world cup
@@carbon9357 they played to their strengths because they have nobody in midfield who can dictate the game. Most good managers play to the teams strengths and that's what Deschamps did. For me pogba didn't stand out at the world cup. He hasn't stood out consistently at man united or juventus.

its funny how they talk about pogba but the man along with kante was a stallworth in the midfield for the world cup. at his best pogba is one of the if not the best midfielder in the world. the problem is the system and coach he plays for. Im really hoping either he goes or the manager goes.

Alison is yet to be beaten in the league this season and liverpool have conceded the fewest goals in the league, de gea has made blunders this season. Gomez injured but has still been better than any united cb this season, non debatable really, liverpools midfield hasnt been great but uniteds midfield has been diabolical, pogba losing possession at Southampton, matic moves slower than a tortoise. Mane hasn't been at it this season so ill give united fans martial, who has been pretty decent and has scored goals. having 4 united players in their isn't reflective of the fact liverpool are top of the league and untied are 6th. mind the gap
If players play to their potential, then thats another story, if playing to their best, then im sure baily,pogba,rashford,martial could all figure. but that is irrelevant.

talent and performance are 2 different things
Talent doesn't necessarily mean you'll do well. The likes of KDB benefit greatly from proper management. Pogba on the other hand has a tool for a coach. Give him a proper manager with the right system and he'll outshine all of them just like when he was at Juve.
