Who knows? Daym gets to these places when they aren't very busy. At night, people might get rushed and the food gets sloppy.
Good point, you might also have different cooks working days and nights so the quality will definitely vary depending on who's hooking up your food.

As an executive chef and was once a restaurant manager., most people will right a review when they have a bad experience. Either way a bad experience is a bad experience. I do agree that you need to hit these spots when they are busy. Any place can potentially be good or even great when they are dead.

If you like crispy bacon you should tell them while ordering. I always do and have never been disappointed
For real! If it's important enough that you'll rank them down over it, ASK FOR IT.
Daym likes tree bark, cut your mouth, burnt bacon. Which would be awful on a sandwich. But that bacon still could have had some crispy edges on it to give it some depth of texture. But bacon should still have a good chew to it.

If your ever in New Mexico you should check out Blake's Lotaburger its family owned local place. They have some newer locations and some so old its a walk up window no lobby. They cook all burgers to order and the green chile a special blend created just for them. For a first visit Id recommend a Double Meat New Mexico style. That thing is huge! And id also get because its what i get an Itsa burger no mustard add mayo add grilled onions if they season it right its hitting!
Daym, Crystal Bee's might be worth a return video in a few months to see if they improved. They did have the good sliders and the fries. The potential was there.

That bacon looked perfect to me. I don't like my bacon crispy at all so that's definitely a matter of personal preference. I don't care for onion rings on burgers though because they are always soggy. Those sliders looked good!

This spot right across the street from my old job…we’ve had Christmas parties there with a full buffet with drinks and games! Good food and times for real!

Daym!!! How you gonna give 3 stars based on the burger solely? The cubano looked FYE and fries look like a definite go... Burger looked mid at best, but not the worst I've seen.. Combined with the sit-in ambiance - definitely not a 3 star yelp-piece overall!

I don't know about Dave n busters or where you just visited I do know in 1985 we had what was called the center, i. Fairbanks Alaska it had arcade, bumper cars, roller rink, bowling alley a grill and an upstairs called the rooftop restaurant and bar with an elevator. It was great great food but unfortunately, the oil industry bust in the 90s and it closed to become a Sears which also has closed. It was a beautiful building many teenage memories there every Friday night skate time😂❤ this review you reminded me of that place one of the 1st of its kinds back then
someone needs to tell daym he likes burnt bacon, regular people would likely be fine with that as MOST people don't want their shit crumble apart burnt haha

Daym I appreciate what you do! Just that I think many of these spots know you will tear them down if their food is wack. So upon seeing your face, the management screams at the staff to give you their absolute best. The average customer won’t have that much attention to detail paid to their food! I’ve literally had that experience before. I went to a spot you rated high. They treated your food like a king. They literally threw my food on the counter as if to tell me to get out. There’s levels😩😂
To be fair it wasn't a ban playing, so it was slow they had time to cook it

The pork slider did look pretty good. To be honest, I think the burgers were not made in-house. They were probably supplied pre-formed with painted on grill marks on it, hence the drop in quality. They may wanna switch to all-beef patties weighed and formed in-house.

It would seem smart, if a med well burger order came up, the cook would put it on the bacon too. I'm usually disappointed in so called bbq burgers. Bbq sauce does nothing for a burger especially drenching an onion ring that could've been enjoyed as a garnish on the side.

The Cubano sliders looked good. The burger didn’t look too appetizing. I would just want my fries fried once, not twice. I like fries crispy, but not that much. Frying once is enough. All the singing and how excited you were, gets me to want to come all the way from Pennsylvania to try the sliders. 👍
