I think its commendable to help promote a restaurant that took their comments as means to improve, and you show that they cared enough to make changes. So often, franchise owners could give a rat less what people think.

I work there, it all depends on the kitchen and if specific items are on hold. For example grilled nuggets could be on hold and people who order them could get pulled to a parking spot.
Seeing how bare that drive thru was, I thought Daym got there on a Sunday.

Daym, excellent review. I love your message at the end, people do make mistakes. I went to one location in Manhattan, while it was crowded I didn't think they were anything special to be honest, I prefer Popeye's but their customer service was spot on. I would go back to try them again.

Daym, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve changed my restaurant experiences by simply asking (respectfully) a poorly performing employee, “Are you having a bad day today?” This often makes them feel that you see them as people that have troubles like anyone else. They often open up a little and share their experience with you and I guarantee you that they put more effort into making your dining experience better afterwards. And if you frequent that place often, they recognize you and treat you well. I know the first names of most of the people that serve me at restaurants, banks, grocery stores…you name it. And they all know my first name. Some know my last name. ❤

That Chick-fil-A is horrible!!! I went there last week, the line was long, they gave me half my order, then they brought the other half out, then they didn't give me my Polynesian sauce and forgot my wife's salad dressing.... You need to go back when it's packed, you're there too early

Brookfield CT Chick-fil-A is always excellent! Super friendly staff, fresh foods, and it’s always very busy. They always have people outside taking orders and there’s always a long line but it moves very fast. I’ve never seen a chick fil a with no line before.
i work there and really appreciate the compliments. it’s hard work sometimes but i’m glad we can give a good experience!

when i did food deliveries for chik fil a, the restaurant was so busy that i had trouble parking and there was a special door for delivery people to get their food handed across a little table, and there were lines of cars and people going everywhere, i dont go to chik fil a anymore lol

I really liked this video. I appreciate what you said about putting your own expectations on others at the establishment, i completely agree. If I don't make it myself and choose to allow others to prepare what I want, I always strive to give a little leeway that it won't be perfect. Because no one is perfect. At the end of the day, most folks are just trying to get through it and doing the best they can.
The chick feezy Chicken is marinated in pickle juice. After the pickle bucket is emptied they dump a bag of marinade in it and thats where it gets its flavor. I worked at one in the 80s.
My favorite part was the waffle fry doing ballerina twirls in the Chick sauce.

I live in South Florida and there is always a long line at chick fil a. Never have I seen one like this without a line. They always have they’re servers greeting cars to take the order. I have never driven up to a kiosk and ordered my food ever.
Since covid, with every place being short staffed, I intentionally go for something I want at non peak hours. It’s when it’s busy that it’s a mess most everywhere.

This chick fil-a taste test is a win in my book. Price wasn’t too bad either. I’m happy to wait for fresh made food. This was a 4 piece ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ all day. But sadly once again this is another franchise that isn’t in Australia yet.
Our town has 2 Chic-fil-a. I don’t go to either. Both are situated so close to the highway that in order to get in line you risk getting into a traffic accident. I can live without it.

I miss eating there. There was on by my job I worked at and I was getting their strips and the Mac and cheese, and a sandwich for later when I get home. It was always good. The lines where just getting outrageous tho so I stopped going for lunch. I then changed jobs and could never actually get to one after. I think its been like 3 years now..

Try Walt’s roast beef, olneyville hot wieners and palmieri’s bakery where they have sandwiches and bakery pizza (a RI thang) on Killingly st Johnston/providence line. Lots of great food there. I’ll going there next week with an empty suitcase to fill with my favorite eats. Love your show!!❤️

I remember him trying chick Fil-A's mac & cheese for the first time. The way he reacted and spoke about it made me want to try it myself. When I went to the USA on holiday, this was placed at the number one spot on my food list. Unfortunately, I've ate at one chick-fil-a in a mall in Richmond and they didn't sell mac & cheese. I felt so gutted..
The problem with reviews no matter what they are for.. food or hotel etc.. People are most likely to make a review for a terrible experience.
Then second an amazing experience.
Not many people leave reviews no matter what the experience. (I travel often for work and pleasure and I am one of those who leaves reviews for either amazing or terrible)

I moved to CT after living in NY NJ and MA for 30 years in total and our “worst restaurants” are honestly “average” in most other states. Connecticut is slept on when it comes to food/eating out
