Pike Place is just their normal coffee! It's named after Pike Place Market in Seattle, where their first store is located!
That Wendy's 'Hot and Crispy' is supposed to be a promotion they're running where you can bring back your fries, no questions asked' and they will fry you up a fresh one. Awesome video Daym! but you missed the baconator fries from the order in front of you! Was hoping to see those!
Pike Place is Starbuck's Original Coffee Blend - it's their "standard" coffee- it's very dark and almost burnt smell/tasting. I recommend Blonde Roast instead.
I used to work there and I think the burnt taste/smell is from lazy workers not brewing fresh batches. You're supposed to throw out an old one and make a new one every 30 minutes but I know a ton of stores don't actually bother with that since people don't complain anyways. Blonde roast def the way to go

Apparently the Charli Cold Foam Cold Brew is some TikToker's go-to order. It's a cold brew with three pumps of caramel, cold foam and cinnamon sugar.
I might have to try that one, it sounds good.

You'd love being behind me at McDonald's. My go-to is two McDoubles, sub the ketchup and mustard for Mac sauce and extra pickles and onions. Then a large fry and a large sweet tea. Their sweet tea really is great.

The lemon loaf is the best loaf they have 😋and the strawberry and cream frap. They have a bomb dragon fruit refresher too.

Former Starbucks barista here. Pike Place is the standard blend for Starbucks. It is a medium roast. Dark roast is in fact the least caffeinated of all the coffees they offer. The way it goes is, light roast is the most caffeinated, medium is the second, dark is the least. The reason is, the light, dark and medium just means how long these roasts were roasted/cooked for. The longer a coffee roasts, the more flavor comes out of the bean and more caffeine will be 'cooked' out of it
. The shorter it roasts, the more fruity and caffeinated it will be.

You’ve done your home state, go down the Eastern Seaboard and go to places you can’t get at home and order what the person in front of them you ordered. That would be a fun series! I love coconut so I would probably enjoy the hot coffee he had, but cold brew is where it's at.
@Steve B I used to think so too, but I love it now. You have to have something to sweeten it though. Coffee by itself is way too bitter for me. I use a flavored creamer. Right now I'm using a sweet cream flavored one that's supposed to taste like Cold Stone ice cream and it really does. Gotta find a flavor that you like and put enough of it in to cut the bitter taste. It's definitely an acquired taste though.
My Brother in law always orders his coffee with 8 creams and 8 sugars, at the most I do two and two, Hahahahahahahaha 😀🌶️⚡!!!
@@DenyThisFlesh Cold brew is a game changer. It’s so much less bitter because the beans distill slowly in cold water, so they can’t burn. It’s really easy to make it yourself too! We have two jugs that we alternate between brewing and drinking from all week

I'm eating a big plate of salad with light dressing as I'm watching him enjoy his meals (minus the Wendy's fries!) and it psychologically made me feel like I was enjoying my poor salad !!

Starbucks barista here! Pike’s Place is Starbucks’ medium blend coffee. It’s called Pike’s Place because the original Starbucks store is located at the Pike Place Market in Seattle.
Pike place coffee is good, but it's very strong. I use it at home to make cold brew coffee, but I use a good amount of flavored creamer in it. It is extremely bitter without that.
I love this series please bring it back super officially

Pike Place Market is the oldest farmers, and other retail shops . It is on 1st and Pike Street in downtown Seattle. Pike Place is a huge tourist and local attraction!!! All the travel shows that get to Seattle film this iconic place! If you see fish mongers throwing fish after someone purchased it.... That happens at the pike PLACE MARKET! !
LOTS of tasty restaurants there ! It looks over Elliott Bay on Seattle's waterfront. Lot's of shops, tours, on the piers. Hitch a ride on one of the state run Ferrys! You've got see it if you ever get to Washingtom... the state!
