I wouldn't eat 3 meals a day. Don't feel like you have to eat at certain times. When you get up, wait until you're hungry to eat. It'll happen later and later as the days go by. Until you'll skip lunch and eat an early dinner. When you're actually hungry, things will taste a lot better too!

A few things to try: keep your electrolytes up, especially if you're going to be working out. Attempt to work out on an empty stomach. The closer you eat before working out, the higher it can shoot up your blood pressure. You may be more tired because you're not drinking enough water. People don't think hydration seriously enough.
I wish you the best of luck on this journey.

I'm only 12 days in and i REFUSE to give up. I spend allot of time watching/listening/reading about all the toxins in the normal American diet which keeps me going tbh. also looking around at all the people around me in public. you can literally SEE what they are consuming! this is even more motivation for me. keep pushing!

Hello, i am 17 and also have heart palpitations, went to a doctor and said "erm idk you seem fine prob dehydrated 🤓", and since they werent going away i decided to stop working out and found out also by watching Edward A. Goeke (also proffessor bart kay you should watch) that this type of exercise isnt actually good for use, cardio and weightlifting, although i have yet to find a video where he says what type of exercise we should do, although.... he said something about a machine and if thats the case i'd like to believe that we shouldnt exercise at all and if we eat our appropiate diet (meat eggs, maybe dairy and something i forget?) we're going to be fine, movement is not exercise, walking to the store is fine!
also i have heard that carbs do create the problem you had with your sinuses so another reason why carbs are not good for humans
Also you should eat till satiety, no point in overfeeding, just store it for later
Also i read a comment and remembered, did you use oil to cook the first meal? cuz oils are really inflammatory and provided no good, either use lard (beef/pork) (i think its also called tallow?) (english is not my first language) or butter (real butter)
i hope you keep it up !

Dr Berry says eat until you are comfortably stuffed especially in the beginning. My personal experience is that it is easy to under eat on this way of eating. If is even more important since you are strength training while starting. Again, Dr Berry has it all in his videos.

IMHO do the eat when hungry and if you want to eat more go for it do NOT eat when you are NOT hungry and if you do not want to finish like you noticed do not :) put it away you can eat it later
Eat when hungry eat to satiety or when it does not taste good
The habits are a huge thing and take a while to get rid of so do not worry it will come or reduce over time
Also as said do not worry about times you eat or trying to make 3 meals and allow it to vary some
IF you gain and notice that yes you can over eat this diet and under eat but I think that is easy to figure out :)
IMHO 90 Days truly lets you see what this can do but like you said the you were low carb before :) is true why you are feeling it quicker but also we are all unique :)
    Keep at it!

Intermittent fasting is the key to losing weight fast. Dr.. Becky Gillaspy, Sten Ekberg and of course Dr. Berg all have incredible amounts of information about fasting and insulin resistance. Carnivore for me was a gateway into low carb, I used it as a metabolic reset, to get fat adjusted and reversing insulin resistance, it’s very hard to lose weight if you’re resistant. Once you’ve gotten fat adjusted it opens up your options, you can lose just as much fat on a keto/low carb plan as with carnivore but it’s less restrictive.

  • @scrapper2675
    @scrapper2675 Před 22 dny

Two things: 1- I don’t know if your palpitations are happening within a couple hours of eating, but I’ve read it’s very typical on carnivore, especially after eating a large amount of beef. It can be caused by the body releasing about 30% more energy to digest complex proteins (beef being a big one). It’s called the meat sweats. Basically, your body needs way more energy to break them down. It literally raises your metabolic rate. You might sweat, feel hot and have racing heart for 1-10 minutes on average. Carbohydrates on the other hand are simple and break down easily and fast. This is one big reason we can stay full longer on carnivore, vs we are hungry again 20 min after carbs.
2-dehydration. You are not eating all the carbo-HYDRATES. Carbohydrates help you retain hydration. Be sure you’re drinking lots of electrolytes with water, especially before hitting the gym. Carnivore recommends upping sodium. Use pink salt or sea salt. I’m new-ish to carnivore (one month in) but not new to nutrition and weightless. I’ve lost over 260+ lbs on my own prior to carnivore, but I definitely think this is where it’s at. If there is anything I can do to help in your journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Always happy to share what I’ve learned in an effort to help others find balance in whatever they are doing. And I wish you all the best in this fight for your health.

Just take trace minerals, plus extra magnesium (just start low and work up to a better dose) and take B¹, Benfotiamine is also helpful to stop the palpitations.
Believe it or not, our body gets addicted to carbs and it has withdrawal symptoms.
So with extra help, you should get past that soon.
