That was a good video. A shame Edge's first run on SmackDown never had a satisfying ending. I heard he was gonna feud with Rey in the fall and perhaps hold the title until WM 24. As a kid, I never really hated anyone as much I did with Edge so this video brought good memories. What did you think of this title run?
I liked the reign, even tho I hated Edge but the injury curse continued on SD. Him and takers could’ve had a lengthy reign
So many plans were thrown out the window in 07 that I just wonder what it was originally gonna be like.
Edge is one of my favorites. I loved this reign, it’s one of my favorites, even if it ended abruptly

Edge's run on Smackdown was truly memorable. He was the biggest heel of SD and also had classic feuds with Undertaker and Batista. Edge is one of the greatest Smackdown stars of all time thanks to this run

I hated Edge when he was on Smackdown! Looking back on it, he was an amazing heel.
I remember watching Edge relinquish that World Title on Smackdown and as a 9-year old I couldn't help myself but cry, even though I hated him back then. Just the look of his face was enough for me.
Batista in every PPV of 2007 was in a match involving the world title.
Except the No Way Out tag match

Edge, Batista, Taker made that world heavyweight title and smackdown awesome between 2006-2008. Too me those are some underrated years for Smackdown that nobody really talks about.
I was in highschool away from my family and had access to a satellite. But I enjoyed Smackdown during this era after not following wrestling for a few years.
@@Seraph89_ i remember this sd era because my grandpa used to love it and i use to watch it with me and thinking back it wasn't so bad. I think it was better then RAW at the time since those years were the years Cena started to take over
@@fightromeofight2352 Yeah I think it was better than Raw too, mainly in 08 and 09 when Raw had no GM and celebrity guest hosts it felt dry and weird. Outside of Cena and Orton it was kinda dead, while Smackdown had Edge, Hardy, Taker, Triple H and quite a few others.

This title reign was very underated. I thought he could have feuded with matt hardy, mark henry, mvp and hell even finlay.
I can imagine a Chamber match involving those guys. Shame we never got to see the entire thing play out.

It would have been cool to see him feud with Matt Hardy. An extension of their rivalry from 2005 or another context for that to have happened [since Lita was already retired] would be cool for the bookings!

Looking back from 2006-2008 batista had almost infinite title shots and it drove me nuts
This made Edge's career. I remember everyone at school said the Undertaker lost the title on Wednesday and I had to see it to believe it on Friday. If they taped Smackdown on Tuesdays they should have aired them on Tuesday.
Back then Smackdown was tape on Tuesdays but aired on Fridays.

Batista vs Undertaker Cage Match was great and Edge cashed in that was good.
Smackdown needed a top heel.

Batista and Randy Orton didn’t get injured in 07 that’s good news.
I like WWE in 2007 was it great? No. I thought it was good just too many bad things and most people remember the bad over the good.

Honestly Mr. Kennedy would of been a good world heavyweight champion, but overall I love the match edge had with Chris Benoit on smack down to me that had to be the best last match Chris Benoit had before doing what he did couple weeks later.

A lot of people don’t realize this but Edge held every tilte that was possible to hold during his time and did everything in wwe 7x world heavyweight champion 4x wwe champion international champion u.s champion wwe tag team champion world tag team champion and he held both the tag team championship with Chris Jericho also won 2 royal rumble won 2 money in the banks and won a king of the ring he really did it all he the only wrestler to really win everything some guys are grand slam champion but they don’t win both world title or they don’t win both tag team championship when there was 2 edge only guy to win all the tiltes a living legend

I was at a house show when Kali was champion. He fought Rey Mysterio JR. Rey looks so small on tv but he’s built like a champion IRL. I believe Rey won that night. And he may have become the actual Champion within that year or within a few months.
