Rey Mysterio is and always will be the greatest luchador in history. His WWE career, especially in the Ruthless Aggression days was amazing. His feuds and stories with the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, etc. were sensational and made you very invested with the SmackDown product. So much nostalgia and I love it😌❤️.

Eddie turning on rey was such good storytelling. The fact that it was really just eddie being mad he couldn't beat rey and his descent into madness was a fun ride. Plus their matches were good against each other.

Idk what they expected with this push man. Rey was already a huge draw but yet it seems like they had 0 confidence in him to carry smackdown as the top guy. I don't understand how they thought making his entire gimmick about Eddie being dead would get him over long term. He didn't even need to get any more over in the first place he's fuckin rey mysterio

Rey Mysterio is honestly my all-time most beloved wrestler, I might have favorites like Austin, Rock, HHH, Goldberg. But make no mistake, Rey deep down in my heart is what I call my most beloved wrestler, and a lot of it is because of his push around this time.
