Awesome story! Looking back on the journey, it was fun but without watching till the end, it's stressful. You didn't know if Hardy was gonna win the title in the end. I do believe he would've held it earlier on had he never gotten suspended. But still it makes that moment at Armageddon that much sweeter! What did you think of this story?

I was there in Philly 2009, Night of Champions when he snatched the title back from Punk in the Main Event(I think punk cashed in MITB the PPV before). Think he held the World Heavyweight title for like a month 🥲 I agree, feels bad they treated Jeff as a transitional champ.

2008 was Jeff hardy year and it sucks he got suspended before Wrestlemania 24 he was originally supposed to win the money in the bank contract.
This brings back memories. Me and all the kids at school all we talked about was Jeff Hardy. He was the man at this time.

This is my childhood right here. Jeff is my favorite wrestler of all time. I remember whem he won the title at Armageddon, I couldn't even sleep that night. Hopefully he gets another world title run before he retires.

Man I loved Jeff's push he proved that he could be a major main event player and his matches were quite good especially the Armageddon 2008 triple threat.
The whole build up to Jeff winning the title at Armageddon 2008 was a masterpiece. Jeff 08-09 was the biggest star in the company even outselling Cena.
My most favorite wrestler of all time I remember being at backlash 2009 seeing it live was incredible

I wish Jeff would have been around for Punks run. I always felt Punk was Jeff’s perfect rival like Randy was for Cena. They were pushed around the same time, The clash of lifestyles was unique and they worked good matches together. Substitute Jeff for Cena and that would have been a great rivalry solidifying two main event guys.

Not too long ago I re-watched all of the Jeff Hardy second WWE run 2006-2009 and it was amazing, one of the best runs I've ever seeing and you did a great job covering the best part of it, congrats.

Jeff Hardy into 2008 was what made me a fan of wrestling. I was 7 years old at the time. So, eventually WWE finally came to my town and I finally got the chance to see Jeff Hardy live. My dad said me and my friend who went with us were ecstatic at the end of the night. We were so happy because in our home town, live in the arena, we saw Jeff Hardy win the WWE title for the first, and only time (Heavyweight title isn't as good.) Because of that alone Jeff, and Armageddon 2008 will always be my favorites, it was pure magic.

The fans loved Jeff, the wrestlers loved Jeff. Him getting that much of a push from Triple H and Shawn shows how much those two wanted it to work out for him.
He is by far my fave I just started watching when he was in his prime and if it was not for him I would not have liked it

he should have defended it successfully but because of his personal issues outside WWE (like RVD in 2006) his pushes are always halted by WWE, and this was also the starting point for PG era
