I find it funny how the Undertaker was bitching about how CM Punk needed to dress properly as a champion 🤨 when he dresses like a grim reaper. He dosen't all a sudden walk out in a suit and tie
I quite enjoyed this title reign especially as the previous two ended before they even started which was down to either an injury or being stripped without even actually losing, Undertaker was one of the few guys who never really needed the title as he was already over but to see him hold the world title from October 2009 to February 2010 was very enjoyable even though i loved his run with the title from 1997 just a little bit more. During this time, he had entertaining progams with CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Rey Mysterio and got to revisit his classic feud with Batista one more time. It's hard to believe that it's been now 12 years since he last held the world title but at least he got to have one last extended run as he would become a part time wrestler and appear only at Wrestlemania to defend the streak
The Survivor Series 2009 stuff was interesting because WWE did this thing that they do sometimes that I quite like and they presented both World Title matches with the same concept but a different storyline. Jericho vs Show vs Undertaker was Jerishow (two heels and a Tag Champs) vs top baby face on Smackdown Undertaker. On Raw it was Michaels vs Triple H vs Cena where DX (two of WWE’s biggest faces) vs John Cena who was WWE’s biggest baby face at the time and the face of the whole company. It lead to that massive Main Event Raw match in MSG with Cena and Undertaker vs DX vs Jerishow and I felt like that just made sense. It’s one of WWE’s most viewed You Tube videos and it also has an overlooked moment of Shawn taking of the (crap) DX arm bands when he gets to go in the ring with the Undertaker. This teased what was to come next month with Michaels challenging Undertaker the Slammy’s and it also teased DX vs Jerishow at TLC so whilst the builds for both world title matches weren’t amazing they did have some actually really good storyline development and it felt some what thought out. I think WWE realised they had a genius idea when they realised they was doing Raw in MSG and they could make a mega Tag match so good for them. As for Undertaker’s title reign. It was perfectly fine. Undertaker always feels like a better chaser because it’s like “oh crap the Undertaker wants to kick my ass this isn’t good”. 1997 might be his best reign because of the people he faced and the stories (the tease of Kane and being caught in the Michaels and Bret storyline at SummerSlam which is something I wish NXT recreated for the DIY storyline where Johny is the ref for Black and Ciampa). I do wish he got that rumoured world title run in 2017, I believe the plan was Undertaker vs Styes at Royal Rumble (it was teased on Smackdown 900) where Undertaker would win and hold the title for 2 weeks before dropping the title back to Aj inside the Elimination Chamber where Aj would go on to face Orton at WrestleMaina and Cena (who I believe would have eliminated Undertaker) would have faced him at Maina. This changed because someone pitched Vince the idea of the proposal and Vince loved it and they gave Cena the WWE Title as a “sorry your not facing Taker” kind of thing.

No offense dusty doesn’t belong in top ten
Ric is top 5
Please do Braun strowman vs Roman reigns the best rivalry of 2017 and probably the greatest rivalry of the modern era
Honestly cm punk wasn't ready to be a world champion I'm glad undertaker got it

No dude, it wasnt about the rules
Undertaker simply told him something that is good for him, and Punk was being a dick about it, thats why he lost it
It was a okay title run
I am the firs
Batista with the WWE title looks so wrong.
This isnt his last rain
2018 Nxt is better than Aew
2009 TNA was better both of them
@@c.a.m9677attitude era Wwe was better
Wcw peak was amazing
Fuck this Title Run and especially how it ended! In fact the end made me hate HBK FOREVER!!!! The only thing that should have happened is Taker should have won and retired as the Champion when he had his last match! That was the ONLY FITTING and CORRECT way to End Takers Career and his Dedication to Vince and WWE!
What happened to the batiata heel run video my guy?
I knowww righr
