I was in tears the whole episode! They truly put their entire ankles in this one! Cyclops bobbing and weaving with the Optic blasts, nigga WHATT! And then the Optic blast landing thrusters. My jam has officially returned.
I laughed like a maniac during the action scenes with pure, unmitigated joy. Literally applauded the episode. By the end of episode 2, I was crying. This. Is. IT.
Why in the absolute F*CK do we not have a Storm movie yet?! That scene of her coming out at the end against the sentinels was ART!

Doesn’t need one. Just put her as the X-Men leader and give us all her exploits from Mutant Massacre through the Outback Era and we’re good.
I would rather watch a Storm movie than Captain Marvel or Black Widow but I don't think she needs one. A short mini series would be kind of cool

One thing people always forget is not only is Storm a mutant, but she has Hella magic too, hence changing her uniform on a whim. She's kinda like Scarlet Witch in that her mutation and magic have absolutey nothing to do with one another, but the combination is sick! Storm's soliloquies right before she uses her power always gave me joy as a kid cuz I was like, "yeah tell us what you about to do before you do it!" Kinda like on tv back in the day when some black lady would whoop somebody a** but would tell them about how she was gonna do it beforehand! 😂😂😂😂
@@seanlamont8501 She doesn’t use magic to change her street clothes into her uniform. She uses her lightning to change the unstable molecules of her clothes(created by Reed Richards who is a friend of Charles Xavier’s) into her uniform in which all of the X-Men’s uniforms are made of the same material. The only version of Storm that uses magic at all is in Belasco’s timeline inside of Limbo where Illyana Rasputin grew up.

For me, it was in the afternoon after school. I'd be in the basement pretending to do homework (I was lucky to have the basement all to myself) jamming to the into, throwing UNO cards around and making staffs out of cardboard like I'm Gambit, making unnecessary speeches like I'm Storm, and you couldn't tell me I wasn't psychic AF like the professor. 😂😂😂😂. Oh the memories!

This show returned at just the right time. The themes that have always been part of the X-Men are sooo relevant now with what's going on in our world today. The FOH organization looks awfully familiar and the whole series just hits harder now, especially when you're older and can appreciate it on a deeper level
The one show that DEMANDS that you don't skip the intro because the all-time great theme goes hard like no modern animated show does. Kids today growing up in a post-Cartoon Network and post-streaming world don't know the feeling of waking up on Saturday mornings to a bunch of TV channels fighting for your adolescent attention by dropping the most FIRE theme songs with their shows to hook you in.

The first 2 episodes were incredible!!! I absolutely loved this season premiere kick-off! I wasn't born in the '90s but my father kept a bunch of VHS tapes with a lot of the old X-Men: The Animated Series episodes on them and I grew up rewatching those same episodes as a kid. The action was fantastic, and I'm really digging the new animation style for the show. I just binged the entire original series, and I gotta say that this is a significant step up in terms of animation quality, of course. All the characters are just as charismatic as they were in the previous series, if not even more so. Hearing some of the classic voices return for their roles in this Revival series is so heartwarming and nostalgic. I'm also really digging the new blood when it comes to the new additions to the voice cast. The new voices for Gambit, Scott Summers, and Jubilee specifically sound really great and worthy successors to the original voice actors. I'm really loving what they're setting up for the overarching story of the season. I can't wait to move on to the next batch of episodes as soon as they release. Everything feels like a significant step up to a lot of the great things from the original show and this is clear proof that the people who worked on the show are true X-Men fans in grew up watching the original animated series. Ultimately, though, this awesome premier batch of episodes really reminded me how much I missed the X-Men as a family. It's been awhile since I really delve into the world of the X-Men like this and honestly I'm glad the show came out to reunite the fire I have for the X-Men that's some of the old fox movies might have dampered a little bit. Marvel's/The MCU's first crack at the X-Men was done masterfully, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see more! 10/10 Premiere for this show! 🎆✨️🙌

I instantly knew who he was as soon as he showed his powered hand, never read the comics nor watched the old series (minus X-Men Evolution since im a 2000's kid), my only knowledge about him comes from a game i play called Marvel Snap 😂

This was my Saturday morning too. Right after karate class I want to get home and watch X-Men.
The new guy is Sunspot, from the New Mutants! He's a very rich brazilian mutant. He once led a New Avengers team and used to lead the New Mutants. I think he also owned A.I.M. at some point. He's great! (I am biased because I'm brazilian buuuut well haha here we are)

Over 60 years since they were created and these characters still manage to bring everyone together. Just amazing.

Valerie Cooper is the OG voice actress for Jean Grey. I was disappointed that she wasn't going to reprise the role of Jean but her voice changed too much. She's doing a good job as Cooper.
Jennifer Hale sounds great as Jean. Wonder if she’ll voice Madeline too or not? Val Cooper on a treadmill/Bo-Flex is as 90s as it gets!!!

I rewatched all 5 seasons of the original show in preparation for this and I'm so glad I did. All I can say is this is what I was hoping the X-Men would come back with and I wasn't disappointed. Those action sequences were nice and I'm hoping you two enjoy the next episode as much as I did. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out.

Didn’t mean this comment to be so long but the 90’s Era - early 2000’s Era was such a COOL time to be alive…Pokémon era(and eventually Yu-gi-Oh era), the first PlayStation, Gameboy color/advance, N64(the games around this time too), it was also a time for kids wanting to be Ninjas too(3 Ninjas, Sidekicks, TMNT movies, Surf Ninjas, ninja shows..can’t remember the one that came on Nickelodeon), speaking of Nickelodeon, that channel and its shows(Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold, Blues Clues) as well as Cartoon Network(Dexter’s Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow n Chicken), Wrestling during the 90’s - 00’s was Awesome, our toys(action figures, trading cards, board games, bop it), the music, foods and chips still being 25cents per bag…wow it was so Fun being a kid then…even teens/adults born at different eras praise how awesome the 90’s truly was. So much nostalgia in this comment, time to binge watch some greats moments.
