When Storm said "I can't feel the breeze" that almost broke me. Then, Magneto crying heading into the atmosphere. Finally, Storm jumping at thunder and lightning. I'm like WTF.

The pain that they portrayed when Storm lost her powers, she showed it in a way that it felt like a person lost a limb.

Seeing Magneto genuinely want to change for his friend was really powerful, especially with that speech, which, holy s*** , was an intense moment, and his final *"Don't make me let you down"* , total CHILLS! But watching Storm lose her powers was heartbreaking and devasting, especially since Storm is one of my favourite X-men and female superheroes. Her losing her powers was the equivalent of chemical castration, and seeing her mentally process it almost brought me to tears. That cliffhanger though! 🤯

Erik was always Charles' brother no matter what. "Losing" Charles had changed Erik in this because it pushes his mindset in another direction in Charles' absence.

When Beast was telling Storm and Jean about what had happened, it almost felt like a cancer diagnosis.
Friend? Did you not hear about how he talks about Charles? That old picture where he looked like David Bowie? Charles leaving everything including the custody of their kids to Magneto? The whole story of X-Men is about how Charles and Magneto had a breakup so bad that it caused a civil rights movement. Magneto's helmet was the divorice papers.

Unfortunately it is tough to have surprises with solicitations for the action figure line coming out ahead of the tv show.

BTW, Rachel is an alternate universe birth. So far the real Jean hasn't birthed any tikes of her own (and to make it even more complicated, the Rachel we know was born to the Phoenix facsimile of that Jean while Jean's body was recuperating in the cocoon under the sea in that alternate timeline - comics!!!).
Nah, that would be way too out there. With Beast examining Bishop's time displacer and Jean's premonition when she was in Gyrich's head, I think that's Jean from the future. But then again she also looks really young so it could be Rachel.

They upgraded on the writing and the detail of the animation was just spot on man.

Interesting that Morph as a shape shifting male mutant could display some power/abilities of the heroes he assumed while Mystique could not at least in her appearances. They definitely gave Morph serious upgrade from his early TAS uses.
Madeline Pryor is the one who actually had cable in the comic's she's a clone of Jean created by Mr Sinister and that's the real Jean at the door if their following comics

One of those 'Jean's' is a clone of Jean Grey named Madeline Pryor who was created by Mr. Sinister. The clone Madeline Pryor got pregnant by Cyclops and is the mother of Nathan Summers (Cable). The real Jean Grey was assumed dead but was found alive in a cocoon by the Fantastic Four. That story is from the Uncanny X-Men comics from the mid to late 1980s. That's not a multiverse or alternate universe situation.

From what I remember from the comics, OG Jean wasn't Cable's mother, a clone named Madelyn Pryor was. So I'm thinking they're gonna either reimagine it to make Jean the mother or put a spin on the comic story in some way. Unless it was the real Jean at the door. Should be interesting either way. Show starting off strong.

11:13 beast is an expert in genetics, his knowledge base rivaling Charles. That makes it all the more tragic when he says that the effects are permanent. Not to say he gives up but just the job of undoing these effects is that difficult.

That's either Madelyn Prior, wich i think is the most likely possibility. Or the real Jean Grey wich the Phoenix put in a regenerative coccoon in the bottom of the New York bay. Like it was revelead in the X - Factror comics. Or it could be a mix of those two plots since it was revelead they were going to adapt the "Inferno" storyline and Mr.Sinister is the main villain of the first season
I personally think Magneto is plotting. Cause look how calm he was when the blast was coming towards him. I think he’s trying to play the country into his hand. That’s why he went the non -violent route. 🧏🏾♂️ I might be onto something, maybe not 😂
Magneto was being cocky, not paying attention, and Storm paid the price for it. Sad, too-she was one of the better X-Men.
