- One of the things they don't tell you before going to prison is that they don't really do much for you there when you get sick. So when Mike the Situation woke up feeling under the weather one morning in Otisville Federal Correctional Facility, he knew he had to figure something out.
When Mike found an inmate who used to be a doctor, it seemed like a perfect situation. But what that doctor had to say was, well... not exactly helpful.
Moral of the story: if you're seeing a doctor, always get a second opinion (even in prison).

I have a situation! My remote has to die just 10min. before the show. I get in my car, ok there is a Dollar General around the corner. Dang it, closed ok Walmart. I go in, missed 10min. of the beginning, it's ok. I get the batteries, self checkout is full...ok lane 3 open. I get there, light goes out, it's not available. Ok ok...patient...ok 8 is open. I get 2 steps in front of it & again, the light goes out! I have a Situation, I'm getting irritated. The self check out clerk says let him handle it. I'm already 30min. late on the show. The clerk rings up my battery, good I hand him my $10.00. He looks at me then at my $10.00, I look at him like Yeah What. He opens his drawer & guess what he tells me," I don't have enough to break your $10.00." I tell him forget it, walk to my car, stop at Chick-fil-la. Order & get home. I'm pissed, man I was looking forward to this. I look at my TV from the bar & it's on MTV & Jersey Shore is starting! I got Chick-fil-la, I got Jersey Shore & my dog eating my waffle fries lol it's ok, I'm happy living my best life.

As soon as you started to describe the symptoms the first thing that popped in my head was "Floaters". Because I just heard of this myself being 47 now and my optometrist mentioned it to me. Glad you're doing well Mike, God Bless.❤️

@@annajoie700 Eye floaters are spots in your vision. ... Most eye floaters are caused by age-related changes that occur as the jelly-like substance (vitreous) inside your eyes becomes more liquid. Microscopic fibers within the vitreous tend to clump and can cast tiny shadows on your retina

Never been a huge Jersey shore fan, however have seen a few that were very entertaining. I just wanted to say I think Mike, the situation, has really matured into a stand-up guy. Seeing him get married to his prison ordeal. I think it's really done him tons of good. It's good to see humility in him. I like that side of him.

Mike I suffer from these as well and suffer from anxiety and when they first hit me I was 19 and scared as heck I still deal with them pesky floaters

Everything is a drama in prison
Often floaters show up during high stress situations and they are there to stay. Over time you just start getting used to them. I know, high stress got them started in me at 23 and I still got em in my 40s. Yay!
Mercer county in New Jersey was the worst. we were in small small 3 bunk by bunk
cages. Then i went to bucks county so nice. 2 men cells, good food, and new jumpsuits. New Jersey jail and prison system needs to change every distract is different.

I have floaters and I'm 23 years old. I remember the first time I started seeing floaters in my field of vision I freaked out and it was a scary moment. One of my first thoughts was "I'm going blind or something is wrong with my brain". Those first days were tough I even became depressed for some time. That was until I visited the doctor and knew what was going on. Mike I hope your floaters go away soon and I wish you and your family the best.

I'm 34 and when my eyes did that I went to the doctor and found out I have fucking Multiple Sclerosis!! My brain has lesions all over it and where they appear it controls that part of my body and it fucks with it like my eyes and left leg. I thought for sure you were gonna say that you had it bro!
