I have to say, Im a Brit and personally this is the best review I've seen to date because they're either one bike or the other or if one after another don't spend enough time showing the aesthetic differences, more how comfortable it is compared to the R, after a few reviews your the only one that showed that the pegs are interchangeable etc. Which I was trying to find out for a while, obviously reviews are subjective but this was great, cheers. Oh, and what an awesome machine.

AT last!! Probably the best walk round and review I've seen & I've watched loads as I have a GT Model on order in the U.K. The only SMALL criticism I have is - all these roads test (esp in the USA) take place on freeways and in town traffic. There is hardly any cornering or hills which makes Sport Mode a bit redundant when all everyone does is blip the throttle for quarter of a mile. Other than that, a great review.

This is a quality machine no doubt, one issue however is the pillion accommodation, the seat is small but there may be an alternative out there, but the leg position for the pillion is not good and for a bike this big it should be , this is why I am not in the market for one, a great review however so thank you

RANGE ... no one seems to mention the lack of range for a "Touring" bike. 18L tank with consumption almost 7L/100km. So 250km to empty ... which means filling up every 200-220km. I think the bike is great and I'm looking for a cruiser but the range puts me off a bit. Very surprised that the tank is not say 20L minimum for such a big bike with big engine.

@@dschimp HEY THERE DUSTIN-- THE EXHAUST IS MUCH QUIETER THAN THE VROD I JUST SOLD-- BUT-- IT'S ALSO A LOT FASTER HAHA AND MORE POWEREFUL . THERE IS AN EXHAUST OUT THERE THAT I'M WAITING FOR TRIUMPH DEALERS TO OKAY-- BY THAT I MEAN THAT THEY WILL PUT IT ON THE DYNO AND IF IT PASSES THEN IT WILL BE ALRIGHT TO HAVE INSTALLED WITHOUT LOSING THE WARRANTY-- THIS EXHAUST IS CALLED COMP WERKS AND IT CAN BE BOUGHT FROM A COMPANY IN CALIFORNIA CALLED STAR RACING I BELIEVE . SELL S FOR 1049 -- A LITTLE PRICEY , BUT WILL GIVE IT A NICE RUMBLE-- YOU WILL HAVE TO GET THE DEALER TO DO AN UPDATE ON THE ECU THO -- I HEARD THAT ONE GUY INSTALLED IT HIMSELF AND WAS COMPLAINING THAT HE COULD ONLY GET UP TO 115 MPH . I LOVE THE RELIABILITY -- NO ISSUES AT ALL IN 7 AND A HALF MONTHS RIDING . VERY COMFORTABLE TOO . RUNS ON REGULAR 87 OCTANE , SO SAVE AT THE PUMP - MY VROD RAN ON 93 AND ONLY GOT 25 MPG . THE ROCKET GETS 44 AS LONG AS I KEEP IT UNDER 90 MPH HEHE !

the worse angle of the bike, why!?. Good review tho.

  • @energiyasmarttechnologies8320

I had previous version ( I bought brand new ). It was most comfortable and most shitty bike I had. Battery was not good enough, leaking break fluid from day 1. Problems with second gear. Noisy brakes. And best of the best, you cannot use kill switch ( red button ) to turn off the engine. If you accidentally did it, you were risking computer failure. My rocket had to be taken to the service twice because of this. British motorbike - no thank you.
