Game 1 was flippin awesome! (Pun intended)
😂
Hahaha! *drumroll
What a beautiful decks! And what a battle! Nice to see both in action against each other!
Never owned a Juzam! Such EPIC art. best of luck to the players and an awesome weekend to all. 🤘🐸🤘
Those Juzams… just beautiful Coen
Great games! Especially the first one
Wow!! Love Koen’s deck. Great games guys.
congrats to the winner!
Amaziiiing games! 💪🏼
Thanks 🙌 It was such a great tournament 👯♀️
Not sure why there was the scoop in G1. Draw the card, stack the triggers for dreams, might be the last bit of direct damage needed...
This is the kind of Magic games that i like, aggro-ish decks with tons of surprises. Control and combo are fun to play but not that fun to watch.
🙌
What are those 4 (altered?) ATQ cards in the BW sideboard? I've been able to figure out everything else.
I don't see any alters in his SB. Do you mean the Su-Chi playset?
@@TimmytheSorcerer I swear I looked through scryfall like a dozen times before I gave up and asked you, not sure how I missed that. Thanks!!
12:53 couldn't he animate the factory and sac it instead of the djinn?
(I mean, the OP had a bolt, but anyway... hahaha)
The factory is an artifact creature so that doesn't work unfortunately 🤔
It’s almost starting to look like a triple rainbow
17:59 since it loses the target, copy artifact should copies nothing, doesn't it?
It comes into play first, it chooses a target once it is on the battlefield if something happens in response it chooses another target if there is another legal target.
In that regard it works different than for example a clone.
Robots without white seems waaay too weak. No swords, disenchant, or divine just crippled. Thanks for the games Tim!
Very welcome :) This was def a bad match up for the robots player btw. He did very well at this event btw, reaching the top8 in a very competitive field.
He must have done something right to get there. But, unless I am missing something, not sure why you would go for red over white as second colour. I guess you can cast a wheel or timetwister and burn for say 7 damage with a bolt + psionic blast, and maybe that is how he won many matches. But, other than lack of disenchant, what is he supposed to use against creatures with regenerate? In the deck I would probably have 1-2 disintegrate (to win some slow matches and to have options against regenerate).
Since the deck was created in this configuration it won the N00bcon warm-up. Made the semi finals at N00bCon and due to it's succes 2 players copied the deck in the Summer Derby and made T8 in a field of nearly 200 players. Besides Robbertjan taking it to the T8 at RBS which you see in this video.
I think the results speaks for itself. Juzams are 1 of the best creatures against this deck. You can't win em all.
@@RichardVeenman I take back my comment about regenerate. Most creatures with regenerate will be taken care of by the Abyss of course, realised that after my comment! Fantastic decks of course, it goes without saying! Have you ever been tempted by one surprise sorcery burn (fireball, or disintegrate?), or is the psionic blast playset just far more versatile.
1 X spell is definitely not a bad idea. I wanted it in originally, Henk didn't. And because we had a great name for the deck (BB-8) having 8 "Bolts" was smoother then adding 1 X spell.
Sleeves? Thought this was old school magic.

So player on the right, should have definitely sacrificed his two lands when the chaos orb hit them... Not sure why both players just missed that.
There’s an errata on the chaos orb to make it playable. You can find it here, www.eternalcentral.com/updated-errata-and-wording-for-falling-star-chaos-orb-and-ring-of-maruf/
