@@TimmytheSorcerer I see a lot of different rulesets including some which allow for 4 Stripmines and others 4 Maze of Ith. These rules seem small, but have massive impacts on what is 'good' imo.

Drawing the best blue card, the best black card, the best brown card and the best alnd surely helps (Game 2).

Yep, with a successfull flip he would have won 2/0 in 10 minutes. Great games anyway, one of the best things (best one is the community by far) in oldschool is casuality and that chaos orb flip symbolizes it at full power!
Anyone would feel nervous flipping the orb in the finals. Unfortunately cost the game
While I love it for nostalgic reasons, Chaos Orb is a silly card and really shouldn't be legal even in this format.

Man if only the green black deck was built with more aggro, wouldve been an easy win
This deck and player did an amazing job, reaching the finals in a field with 98 magic players. The deck was designed by the legendary DFB and has had some incredible results. The difficulty is to build a deck that can win from a wide variety of decks, because OS is so diverse. I also know that The Deck player won against several very aggressive decks (we had 5 rounds in the siwss and a T8, T4 and the finals).

Looks like the deck drew one too many cards off that braingeyser in game 2
I had one mana from the mana drain, so it was a braingeyser for 7 instead of 6 ;-)
Love the old school content, but Mind Twist should not be a legal card in this format in my opinion
I would add LOA and mishra's factory.
I feel like the green/black deck heavily depended on the Deck drawing terrible.
