- Welcome to the second round of the Raging Bull Series, the old school Magic the Gathering tournament of Amsterdam. In this match, we enjoy a beautiful black deck with Royal Assassins and Sengir Vampires powered by the famous blue power cards; Ancestral Recall, Time Twister and Time Walk. This deck will take on a completely Green Alpha brew by Alexander. The deck includes a stunning Force of Nature and many green classics, such as Giant Spider and Elvish Archers.

Love seeing the all alpha deck, your right, he’s pretty limited on control options, maybe some Icy’s for control, or maybe living lands when he had like 9 Forests out lol, birds or paradise with aspect of wolf into a growth and berserk would be a face smack. I would definitely sideboard lifeforce for those royals.

I personally like the alpha decks that are not optimal. That used to be the charm of the alpha format.
Non-alpha variants of the green deck were considered budget a few years ago.
Absolutely, I think you still can. Cards like Berserk, Sylvan Library and Ice Storm are too expensive for budget, but the creature base is budget and some of the most important spells like Giant Growth and Crumble are still cheap as f* 🙌
I play it without Ice Storm and Berserk and it still works, not gonna make a top 8 probably, but loads of fun is guaranteed
@@richardboonstra3343 to be honest, you may not have Ice storms in a budget mono green but the alpha deck foregoes pendelhaven (which is cheap Legends Italian) which is just insanely strong.

Me too 🤞 He brings his Alpha deck to all the os tournaments as it is legal in all of them, really a great guy and lover of the game.
at 11:06 black player use the mana gained from the die of Su-Chi (during the combat phase). He cannot use this mana for a sorcery because in this phase only instat could be played, right?
Correct, if it died in combat you can only use it in the combat phase. A Sorcery spell can only be cast in the forst or second main phase.
Definitely a misplay but in the end it didn't matter.
Can someone explain to me why everyone flips chaos orb With one hand? Nothing in the rules says you have to use one hand. You can literally hold it with fingers from both hands, stand up and flip it with both hands, increasing your hit percentage
Some people do. Everybody has their own technique. Play a tournament amd try it yourself 🙌

Why wouldn't you splash blue for the strongest cards in magic?
I think that’s the problem with the blue power and the restricted cards, they are so easy to splash in your deck and because they’re so good… in the end you get 5 coloured decks with no identity. The question is, what do you want to play, with what colour(s) do you identify the most, what makes you happy :) I guess, that’s the Tim in me speaking. What’s your favorite color?
