I know people don’t like how rushed the Millie vs. Priya stuff is right before the finale, however it makes the most sense bc Bowie knew it would benefit him to do it once it was only them three. If he had done it when Julia was still there there would have been a big chance for her to make it to the finale which would not have been good for his game

Everybody should have a friend like chase ripper scary girl Chris mc clean. All very good, loyal friends and people who wouldn't try to kill you.
In my opinion, my least favourite episode, is the one where Zee is eliminated, because suddenly, the made him slightly dumber. And my boy deserves better.
That's not the only character that received this fate, look at Nichelle, outstanding in the first two episodes and super dumb in the third
He was always this dumb lol. You must've forgot when he consistently loses train of thought and constantly made bad decisions

@@ethanalgicosathlonchannel1110 I think Nichelle did a pretty good job in the first two episodes, considering only two people for team competed in the first challenge (and she tried her best imo) and tried to take the lead in the ship challenge with some good ideas
I feel like in general, Total Drama would work the best as a 20 episode show. Action, Ridonculous and World Tour drag on for too long, and Pakitiew was very rushed. I would be interested to see how the pacing would be in a season that's in the middle.
Yeah I do think 20 episodes would be good. Especially since the episodes are ~21 minutes as well, that should be good enough time.

I think with 16 contestants this season manages it well for a 13 episode one but I feel like adding at least 2 more contestants and making some of them return on merge would be good enough for a 22 episode season

This was one of my favourite seasons. I agree with most everything you've said - and you brought up a few points I hadn't seen elsewhere.
Specifically, I really would have preferred Julia's progression from pseudo-enlightened to b*tch taking place over several episodes. For one, MK could have been the only one who knew but no one would believe her. They could have had a few episodes of Julia undermined other people's confidence with 'friendly' advice.
Axel actually had a couple of lines that made me laugh.
Lauren had under-developed plots that could have some payoff next season. Priya put work into trying to be friendly with her and Priya actually kept her word about not voting against her. That would be an interesting alliance.
After watching this, I thought "Hey, I've never watched Pahkitew Island. It can't be that bad." The difference in quality was stunning!
Such an underrated cast. The first total drama contestant pool devoid of throw away characters. I could honestly see any of the 16 winning the million.
I REALLY would love a past contestant as a host, but the reason it is what it is was because apparently, according to rumours, Christian Potenza already recorded all of his lines and they animated him, but everything was changed super late in production, but I like your ideas.
Yeah fair enough then. Can't be helped but it would have been great seeing Topher as a host haha.
I would not say Chris was more like his Season One counterpart. Well, I would, but I think the most direct comparison I'd make to this version of him would be World Tour Chris. He was a little more sadistic and enjoying pain than he had in the last two seasons, but he wasn't yet rooting for someone to die by the end of the season. I feel like Revenge of the Island is where he started going too far.

Totally agree that the barfing episode was worse for me personally than the farting episode. Bodily functions aside, Damien’s story arc was resolved a lot more satisfyingly than Ripper’s (who I agree overstayed his welcome). And yes this is definitely my favorite of the 13 episode seasons! There was a lot that they did right and as a big Survivor fan, I think I also noticed and appreciated that it felt like an old school Survivor season too.
Wayne and Raj are Katie and Sadie done right and that's why I love the most.
I hope Raj, MK and Damien became top 3 by the second season
I really wonder if a mess hall could have helped with Pahkitew Island since we didnt get much cross team interactions
I actually really liked that Julia kept getting new phones. I went through the season and counted up each new phone she owns and she had 23 in total. I thought it was super funny that she kept getting not only a phone, but a DIFFERENT phone each time

The reason more people hate the farting episode rather than the barf episode is because fart humor should be used sparingly, and the season already had a character who's personality is farting, there's already way too much farting humor without this episode.
Plus, this isn't the first episode focused on eating disgusting food and vomiting; there's the brunch of disgustingness from season 1, the China episode from season 3, the episode where they make their own food from season 4, even the triple dog dare challenge from season 1 had some pretty disgusting scenes. The episode still had funny moments like with Zee.
I actually think that 2 seasons of 13 episodes with the same cast is really smart, because one season would develop, let’s say 10 characters, and the next season can develop those who left earlier, like Damien, Axel and Nichelle, plus a few favourites can make it far again as well.
with the phones as a nitpick i think it would of been interesting that after mk came forward with the confessionals on julias phone, as a precaution chris had the intern search everyone's bunks and some people had certain contraband, one thing i can think of is axel with a pocket knife, but she was already eliminated so that wouldnt of happened and it would of made more people hate julia
edit: another thing i dont like about the season is that people got so mad at julia for being mean to that dinosaur as if it wasent trying to eat her, another thing is that she could of just said it was self defense, but if they still wanted her to break at that point they could of shown her slowly breaking by getting visibly annoyed in confessionals, another thing i find intresting is that she doesnt have any confessionsals before she changed which was what gave her away origanally to me
My personal worst things about this season, that are major issues in my opinion, are the challenges and the episodes, this is the most rushed season in the entire franchise and that's sad cause a lot of season are worst than this and have a lot more screen time, some challenges lasted not that much (some weren't even that good) and some episodes just ended very quickly, the characters, however, really good (except few like Emma and Ripper)
For this reason, I think this is a really mid season, above TDA, All Stars and Pakithew, below TDI, TDWT, RotI and Ridoncolous Race

To be fair, I do remember the later seasons portraying Chef as more passive than he once was, in All Stars especially, he showed a more vulnerable side when Chris got captured by Ezekiel. And unlike the rest of All Stars, I didn't mind it. Because in that situation, it made sense for him to feel scared when his best friend was kidnapped by this show's Gollum, and also, after seeing Chris going more and more unhinged as the show progressed, it made sense for him to become more of a voice of reason in order to contrast with Chris.
I think Julia is related to Blaineley like a niece and aunt way.

It would've made a lot more sense for Don to replace Chris.
Chris got crazy and criminal over the course of the seasons, and without his voice actor, the writers might as well have just kept him as a lost cause who was not allowed back onto the show, rather than sort of resetting him, and brought Don in as a fresh face. Maybe with Don in, they could've kept Chef as a cruel maniac veteran who relishes in the contestants' suffering.

Love WT but totally agree with Action. People talk about the first 3 seasons being the peak but Action is definitely one of the worst, this new season and ROFTI are far superior

Better & original title: Total Drama Revival To Camp
Few things that screwed up:
1. Reused the name Emma again.
2. Merged with ten contestants instead of eight contestants.
3. Nichelle should've talked in the final episode.
4. Julia should've used ziplock bags to protect her phones.
5. The old voice of Chris McLean should've been kept.
Few things that were good:
1. Chris didn't ruin Chase and Emily's good-bye kiss because Chris would've faced the consequences with Chase's Darkus Nillious Bakugan.
2. Chase finally got Emily back.
3. Chris didn't throw up rainbow vomit because if he did, then it's his own fault.
4. We got see a costume of Owen Kuso.
5. There was no messup in the end of the final episode.

Some of these are non issues I'm sorry it's literally brought up by the charcaters the merge happened sooner than it normally does.
Emma a popular name maybe creators has connection to name Emma

I disagree about Ripper overstaying his welcome. He added a lot of necessary variety to the merge. Him being there avoided one of TD's biggest issues with merge: where there's too many "main characters" and not enough screentime (and the line up doesn't justify why the villains survive). Chase and Ripper being over the top comedic jerks that everyone hated was funny. Everyone was hating on these two and justified why Julia and Bowie didn't get voted out instantly.
